On my rustler and bandit mid builds, I use the nitro rear bulk which has the camber link holes. It also has vertical holes you could use for your rear sway. It will be much stiffer than that printed part. My trans case has the locking feature from the nitro trans case, which further stiffens this area.
Very awesome build, though I miss the bandit body. If you ever decide to sell a kit, say all the items that require a cnc ill be first in line! Lol Would also be cool to see a 4x4 Bandit. I looked into trying tk build one out of only traxxas parts. I used a 4x4 rustler chassi with traxxas rally arms. Issues I ran into though were the chassis is a few mil over Roar rules (which for club racing I'm sure no one cares) and the bigger issue was the front hub and knuckle was to big to fit under the wheels
A while back, I designed a front bulkhead that utilized the TRX-3 narrow design but had the front to rear spacing for the Rustler front arms. I have no idea if that is a better solution than what you have done here, since I have not actually put the car together and ran it, but it might be worth looking into a narrow bulkhead with the wide front arms of the Rustler. My design needs a custom shock tower, and top brace, I actually did a whole chassis to be 3d printed while using the Traxxas parts, but mine was rear motor because I'm old, and I prefer the looks 🤣
@@ralphlongo1975 now that I've started playing with printed front bulkheads, I actually have been considering narrowing up the pivot width. Mostly so I can run AE offset front wheels since they're way more common and even TLR is abandoning the TLR front wheel offset.
Im sort of interested in this project, for the price of a donor bandit are going for here you might as well just buy a B6.xx . Hopefully one comes up real cheap. What are you guys paying for them? Is the stampede & rustler the same chassis? good work!
Awesome work man. I love seeing your progress. Also thank you for releasing your designs and letting people use and experiment with them.
For the rear arms I would look into the drag slash arms for toe in they have ones that are 0 degrees in too -3

good work!
Can you please double check - I don't see the front bulkhead on printables.
Apologies for missing that in the upload! It's up there now.
@nick_cnc thank you
Did you 3d print the transmission
