Club Junkie: Review of the new Fujikura Ventus TR Red and TR Black shafts! | Ventus TR giveaway

Fujikura's new Ventus TR Red and TR Black wood shafts are out and I have had them in the bag for a few weeks! Ventus TR Red is a little more stout than the original Red, launching a little lower and spinning a little less for me. The new TR Black is ultra stiff for the high speed an high spin players who need that stability.

Been waiting for the release of the TR Red since I got the 411 about it a few months ago. In a Red now and I’m hopeful the TR part will be the Goldilocks shaft for me in my TSi3 (and maybe a TSr.)

What swing speed are you cruising at on course?
I’m torn between ordering the 6s or 6x. I’m between 104-108 on course I’d say. Somewhere in the middle tempo wise (transition). Tried the Red 6s and it’s was quite noodley but performed great for me until I really went after one.
What do you think?

I am around 104 out there when i am warmed up and going. In the Red I think the 6x is do-able where I would go TR Black 6s, maybe tip it 1/2"

I’m really interested in the tr red I currently game the original blue 6s, 6x was to stiff for me do you reckon if I went for the the tr red I should stick with 6s or the looser tip I’d be better with 6x

You will probably have to hit up Fujikura and see if they have any laying around. I got it when the TR Blue launched a couple of years ago

OG Blue has a softer handle section and for me flies just a touch lower than TR Red.
