- Our landlord decided to remove a tree in front of the crib because multiple overhead wires were in danger. Also, we FINALLY got some rain but only about 10 minutes worth.

I would have thought a palm tree would be really soft wood but it looks pretty hard while he was chopping it down.
I have a mesquite tree that grows like a weed in the summer. I don't have any power tools. I just trim it back with some hand clippers. Some times I have to remove whole limbs from the tree so they don't interfere with my neighbors ability to move his large camping trailer in and out of his back yard. For that I just use a hand saw.
King will be nice to have a tour of you neighbourhood village, its amenities and facilities available in this area. I am watching many vlogs about the PH. Love the location of Cebu as is in the centre of the Ph.

I feel sorry for the poor tree but unfortunately it was clearly a danger to base camp both in terms of comms' and lekkie. My friend Marta climbed a tree like that on Lombok to get durians. I was amazed at the grip in his feet and the fact he wasn't scratched to hell after the event.

If you care a little caulk across that dripping beam to make a drip edge, It breaks the surface tension. Tying a rope might do it too.

The tree was growing in the wrong spot. It needs to be removed. That tree was about 20ft tall. The palms can grow taller than 100 ft. The taller it gets, the harder it is to take down. Great job workers.
Let it rain until it is too much and then let it STOP

yes some people use it to build but not very durable. The quality wood here is mahogany.
