First off, you are a surgeon when it comes to restoring all of these cars and it’s awesome to see the transformation. You also deserve 700K subs!! Lastly, the best first name around. I couldn’t name one person in the world I’d rather buy a car off of… Everything done right and documented and still a more than fair price in the end… I fix and flip cars myself and depending on the miles I would have been looking for over $30k after all that work.. I commend you for keeping your word and following through making the car 100% even though you already had a buyer..

What an EPIC build series! The Cobra turned out to be a major PITA, but in the end, an amazingly beautiful ride. Glad you were able to make a profit with the sale. The new owner is definitely getting a sound vehicle. Super sick editing as always! Bravo, good Sir 👏🏼 P.S. “It’s just a clutch!”
Man, what a labor of love. I thought 32k would have been the price tag with a year of labor. The buyer got a great deal! Loved the break down. Thanks Chris! On to the next!
What a dramatic ending to one of the most enjoyable build series on this channel! I wish to see this channel grow and Chris able to go with more builds like this with all the support he could possibly have.
Chris, that was my cobra back in 2018, I sold it to the guy in NJ around 2021. The car was in far better shape before then , let me know if you’d like some background / pictures . I still have a few documents as well, the NY registration in your video was from when I owned it( how I know it was mine) . I wish I saw your channel prior to you selling it would have loved a chance to get it back. Nevertheless I’m glad you saved it ! Great job!
i was hoping to see you add this beautiful 2003 Sonic Blue Terminator Cobra to your awesome fleet, but after hearing your reasons for not keeping the car i understand. The new owner is getting an awesome deal, because i know what they are going for. This exact year, model, and color is my Dream Car. I have watched your channel before on some other Mustangs, but this video series did it for me so i subscribed to your channel, you are an amazing car restorer builder / mechanic and i wish i had your skills. I currently have two Mustangs but i like all sports / muscle cars so i will keep tuning in to see what you will come across and conquer. Thank you for your awesome content, subscriber for life. I don't watch tv, stuff like this my tv!
Great series Chris, enjoyed al the episodes.. What a lot of work on the SVT. Not much of a Ford guy myself, but what a transformation on this one. Really didn't know how complex that SVT motor is. You are the expert on it now after this project. Thanks for videos and keep them coming.
A year ago your buying the cheapest cobra video kept popping up in my you tube feed and I'd scroll past it. One night it popped up and I'm like for the love of God why is this video always popping up? Haha so I clicked on it and man i was hooked to this series instantly. This cobra came out great and I like all cars. Like I've said I have an 03 mach and a 93 fox coupe, but I also have a 2000 corvette convertible I've been bringing back to life. The build and wrenching is what I love to do and I'm looking forward to whatever comes next!.
Greetings from your 1 female viewer haha. Love your channel and especially this series on the Cobra, as well as the Lightning. They can't all be saved, but so glad you kept at it with this Cobra so someone else can enjoy it. A Terminator is definitely one of my dream cars and a Sonic Blue coupe is just what I'd choose. Also appreciate the profit breakdown, most YT'ers never share that, so kudos. Keep up the awesome work! And hope the channel keeps growing!!
Giving up on a car isn't what this channel does. What a journey, but what a sweet ending. I dig the financial breakdown, it's awesome you are that transparent to provide that information. Gives some insight into just what taking on a project like this would entail. On to the next!!
Chris this is a masterpiece at its best. No others on TH-cam compare to what you do with your vehicles. From start to finish you are to work your magic with all your talent and awesome skills to really make these cars look great. Great work.
I got drawn in by the yellow cobra, but this one really held me down. Amongst other TH-camrs I feel you’re super relatable to normal every day diy dudes. Definitely sad to see it go but also stoked you gave it a second shot at life. Can’t wait to see what’s next
The really great thing is that the buyer could watch his car being built and the perfectionism you put into it. He has no doubt he's getting a great car.
Man! This is a very good channel. I’ve laughed, I screamed, but most of, I’ve learned. I like your show better than a few shows on tv. I look forward to your content. I wish nothing but good future as you continue to progress with your channel
Chris phenomenal job. I watched this entire series. Lots of ebbs and flows but the determination to finish this project was top notch. Looking forward to what you have brewing next.
I found your channel because I’ve been running mustangs since the mid 90’s and a terminator is my dream car. I had a buddy wanting to sell me his sonic blue 04 back in 2007 but 28k back then was wayyyy too much for me. So now in my mid 40’s and financially able I’m looking again. Thank you for amazing content and re-igniting my passion for mustangs. Your content is top notch and even though I called dibs on this car long ago, it sounds like someone beat me to the punch lol. But now I know how to get my foot in the door…For the lightning?!?!? Thanks for the content man am, and shoutout to your wife for dealing with everything so we can have epic videos. She a saint!
Yea his drivetrain experience is 2nd to none. A few months ago I was putting my new engine in my C6 Z06 and cranes reach wasn’t long enough. I’ve followed Chris for a while so I reached out to confirm that I needed the 2 ton. Currently still doing break in miles on it. Thanks again Chris!
Hate to see my dream car being sold 😢 but I love how you stay on topic w automotive content not like other “car” channels that turn into daily life vlogs 🤌🏼 & i know cold weather is coming up but maybe next year you can do some bike 🏍️ content? 👀
I have followed you for about a year now and have nothing but respect for the “true to your word” that you show. It is refreshing to see such talent with how you buy, fix and sell projects but also the integrity with which you do it. You are a good guy with a true talent my friend. I have a love for Mustangs, but my only ownership has been a Black 86’ SVO coupe. I enjoyed the car a lot but like so many people do, I sold it. Keep up the good videos and know you have a loyal fan base here who recognize talent and integrity!
Being the owner of a 03 Cobra convertible, I really enjoyed this series. It motivated me to work on mine while watching all your videos. My wife says my Cobra is loud and very brash but that is what I love about it. It does not have the creature comforts of newer vehicles but it is pure American Muscle that commands attention with no apologies. Even though the Cobra series is over, I will still be watching the new videos on the Lightning, Vette, Z06, Camaro, and AMG. Great work!!!
Documented in detail. I’m truly inspired by your attention to detail an organization skills. Worth every penny, especially considering these videos will follow this car no matter which owner gets it. I would have had you sign it in a few places. Let’s all pray it doesn’t fall into the hands of some spoiled kid that gets everything & respects nothing.😬
Keep the content coming…all of it! I appreciate seeing the end result of money into and out of your pocket when you put a car that deserves to be on the road back on the road. Looking forward to the next one.
The car came out absolutely beautiful. You have it another shot at life instead of it being parted out and scrapped. Hopefully the next one you do you can keep it! Gotta offset all those bowties in the garage! Lol. I’m sure the new owner will be very happy with it.
I'm sure you're glad this one is over. Loved everything about this build and channel. The breakdown really puts things in perspective. Thanks for sharing. I'm sure some people don't like giving that info out. Can't wait to see what's next 👍

Fantastic job. Watching you erase the white board was like wiping away all that hard work. You really stuck that series out man. Great hard work. I’m glad you mentioned the man hours involved too because you deserve to consider all that when you count the profit.
Thank you so much for the in depth break down and like I mentioned before such an amazing transformation .Looking forward to the next one and not just a SVT all and any car . Your finishing touches on your Terminator inspired me to do some paint correction on my 24 Honda FL5 Type R with only about 1200 miles I had for around 6 months I’ve been putting off. You got the jucies flowing lol sorta speak after watching and seeing your results . Spent about 2 days going in and out of the garage taking my time and it came out beautiful. 👍🏻👊🏻

@@LoKiFee yeah that’s way too long, I would do a check up on the shop because there’s a good chance they got to a sticking point, probably how to mount the y and put it in the corner
I’d buy “just needs clutch” T shirt and I’ve never bought TH-cam merch before. 😂 Nice work as always.
Hey Chris, i am watching your channel now over two years, and am still enjoying every one of it!! Keep on going man! Greetings from Germany.
Prost!
I have been catching up on a lot of your content since stumbling upon your channel from those SS Camaros to current, a few quick thoughts. First off, you are a surgeon when it comes to restoring all of these cars and it’s awesome to see the transformation. You also deserve 700K subs!! Lastly, the best first name around. Keep up the awesome content and I am here for the long haul.
@ScaleModelCarBuilder thanks for catching up and thanks for watching. Appreciate you 🤝
Great project and respectable sale! Win win and appreciate the transparency with the hardships, challenges, and funds. It brings the reality of what some projects are that most average folks have to deal with. Looking forward to what’s next Chris!
Much appreciated!
Love the numbers breakdown Chris, keep doing these kind of Wrap Videos 😂
I found you in a C6 corvette group, you said check out your channel, since I have, nothing but solid information and great content. Keep up the projects. Looking forward to the next series
I couldn’t name one person in the world I’d rather buy a car off of… Everything done right and documented and still a more than fair price in the end…
I fix and flip cars myself and depending on the miles I would have been looking for over $30k after all that work..
I commend you for keeping your word and following through making the car 100% even though you already had a buyer..
The cobra came out amazing.awesome job Chris.seeing the whole process was awesome.the new owner is a lucky guy.great price for all the work you put into it.👍👊
Can’t wait to see another cobra on the channel. The sonic blue will be missed
Watched all the way thru. We all go thru those live and learn times In our lives. Hope the next 3 projects go smooth in comparison.
@@acrocketsfan thanks for watching!
“I like my stuff to be nice and stay nice.”
That’s exactly why I follow this channel.
🤝
What an EPIC build series! The Cobra turned out to be a major PITA, but in the end, an amazingly beautiful ride. Glad you were able to make a profit with the sale. The new owner is definitely getting a sound vehicle. Super sick editing as always! Bravo, good Sir 👏🏼
P.S. “It’s just a clutch!”
Thanks a ton!
🤙🏼
Epic build and the tenacity you displayed to get it right is crazy. Very good at what you do bro keep em coming!!
Man, what a labor of love. I thought 32k would have been the price tag with a year of labor. The buyer got a great deal! Loved the break down. Thanks Chris! On to the next!
Thanks 👍
The cobra may not have been the best investment money wise but it was for your channel. Thanks for saving the car from the scrap yard.
Couldn't have said it better myself.
So many aren’t honest with the financials and details of builds like these. Get this man a sponsorship ship!
🫡
Great job!
@@DouglasAcker-f6d damn! Wish you found the channel a year ago lol
Me too, just wanted to say great job she looks and sounds great ! I bought and trailered that car home in the rain as well just fyi 🤔
i was hoping to see you add this beautiful 2003 Sonic Blue Terminator Cobra to your awesome fleet, but after hearing your reasons for not keeping the car i understand.
@@thevettboy you know it! Thanks for watching
This has been easily the coolest video series on a vehicle I have ever watched on TH-cam. Subbed for more Ford content.
Awesome. Thanks for the sub
Thanks for watching!
Giving up on a car isn't what this channel does. What a journey, but what a sweet ending. I dig the financial breakdown, it's awesome you are that transparent to provide that information. Gives some insight into just what taking on a project like this would entail. On to the next!!
Glad you enjoy it!
Yo deserve a extra 10k just for the love and passion you put into this project. 😅
Chris this is a masterpiece at its best. No others on TH-cam compare to what you do with your vehicles. From start to finish you are to work your magic with all your talent and awesome skills to really make these cars look great. Great work.
Thank YOU for watching. Much appreciated
@@ChrisSullivan69Always great watching a true professional like you doing all types of transformations to these vehicles.
I got drawn in by the yellow cobra, but this one really held me down. Amongst other TH-camrs I feel you’re super relatable to normal every day diy dudes. Definitely sad to see it go but also stoked you gave it a second shot at life. Can’t wait to see what’s next
I started watching your channel when you bought the Red Corvette all of the videos have just been fascinating to me.
Glad to hear it!
Couldn't have been taken apart, put back together by someone more skilled from Ford themselves. 👍🏼 Good job buddy
Right on!
The really great thing is that the buyer could watch his car being built and the perfectionism you put into it. He has no doubt he's getting a great car.
Absolutely!
Thanks man. Appreciate you watching
Love the recaps! Can’t believe this one’s done and gone.
Thanks buddy!
Thanks for the kind words. 86 SVO sounds sweet!
enjoyed every bit of the cobra content, can't wait for the next mustang
Get that merch goin! I happily support all my fav youtubers and your content is near the top right now. Keep it up.
Working on it!
Cobra is raw and that's why we love them!
10/10 channel, will continue to watch.
MOAR COBRAS
Thanks! Appreciate the comment
Thanks for watching
I'm sure you're glad this one is over. Loved everything about this build and channel. The breakdown really puts things in perspective. Thanks for sharing. I'm sure some people don't like giving that info out. Can't wait to see what's next 👍
Thanks for watching!
awesome and entertaining and educational video series. very well done Chris!! the buyer got a great deal on a beautiul car. I'm looking forward to your future content.second to none on TH-cam.
Right on!
I changed my Audis control arms and thought I was doing the thing. It’s crazy you can do all this, your gifted man, great build, glad I watched this
Really enjoyed the series. I think the buyer got a heck of deal. Your always a stand up guy!
Most legit car channel on GlueTube. Sad to see the Terminator go, but it's understandable. 03-04 Terminator is still to this day one of my top 5 dream cars. The way you had it is something I hope to have one day.
i enjoyed the finance part of it. Nice and informative, the whole series has been great to watch and learn from!
Alotta “men” have no class. No dignity. No respect. A lot of hollow words that don’t mean shit. Respect for comin through on your word. And I absolutely loved this seriesfrom start to finish. Kinda sad to see it go tbh. But, You got a sub for life here. Nice work
I saw this on instagram and shot home. I have to play a gig tonight a few hours away so I can only listen until tomorrow. THAT'S how good this channel is. I will listen to Chris's recap and love watching it tonight. As an engineer to another engineer, you have the absolute best content. It's a travesty that you only have 74k subs. I love the look, editing, content, most importantly, the cleanliness. Thanks for all you do, we appreciate the videos sir
Engineer to engineer 🤝
I’ve been following you from the beginning. It’s inspiring how you stay motivated for these viewers. Working a full time job while creating your dream job…. Keep it up Chris. You’re getting a lot better at this. Keep brewing good coffee and cracking cold ones.
Hell yeah. Words of wisdom. Thanks man
Brother… what a journey!!!! 🫡🫡🫡🙏
Fantastic job. Watching you erase the white board was like wiping away all that hard work. You really stuck that series out man. Great hard work. I’m glad you mentioned the man hours involved too because you deserve to consider all that when you count the profit.
That was defiantly a 3 Beer job!! lol.
Great series, great channel. We need some C8 Z06 love on the channel.
👍🏻👊🏻
That's awesome! Nice work
💯Back at ya 😆👊🏻👍🏻
I swear this is the shit I’m tryna be doing in my 40’s man. He got it, another banger … and it was worth it. Long ass journey for sure, but another legendary Chris Sullivan build 🫡 shit made me want a terminator, I know I’ll get one before I die now bc of you bro. Shoutout to you
stellar job bro! the car came out gorgeous. I could tell there was an emotional attachment to this one.. (love/hate) . Looking forward to the next ! cheers
Was a great video series! And still so cool that i went with a friend to look at this thing between your first visit and the purchase. The hole in the floor spooked him off the most out of everything else but it went to the right guy to bring it back to it's glory! Can't wait for the next new project!
Sad to see it go. But I have mad respect for keeping your word! The new owner bought one beautiful cobra!!
The end recap video is pretty awesome showing the cost/profit comparison.
Stoked for the next project! Keep em coming Chris. 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️
Chris, you are the most underrated auto TH-cam channel on TH-cam right now. Your videos are quality filmed, great content, and I personally look forward to everyone of your videos.
Loved the break down video. The Cobra series has been one of my most favorite series I've ever watched on TH-cam. Well done!
Looking forward to more projects, the completion of the lighting, the repair of the Mercedes and vette/camaro content! Keep it going Chris!
Awesome! Appreciate you watching 🤙🤙
Man the 03 screaming yellow cobra got me hooked on your channel love the 03 cobra content. I hope u find another one to redo.
