Yes we can draw labs. A lab tech/phlebotomist comes and draw routines labs that the doctors order once a week, but if it is something stat when a pt gets sick then we can draw it and someone will take it to the hospital’s lab.
Long term care is very hard. I loved my residents but honestly I just tolerated the job. I didn’t like the facility and having up to 36 residents at a time. I got burned out quick.

I see they have blood supplies. Are you able to draw blood as a Lpn?
