I built a PC in that case. Liked it enough I bought another for a future build. My build was AM4 ITX with a 5600 paired with a RX 6600 XT. Mine didn't come with a fan so I installed a Noctua NF-R8 Redux. The GPU was short enough that I installed 2 x 120mm fans on the front panel to blow right on the GPU and CPU cooler.
I almost unironically bought this case for my computer but bought the asus ap201 instead. I'm really happy with the ap201. This case doesn't seem too bad
I built a 1080p gaming PC in one of these cases last month out of spare parts and goodwill finds. Was fun and actually isn't absolutely terrible. The case is, but the PC is ok.
When I saw the price of the case, it reminded me of my current build. Zalman had a bunch of their T6 ATX tower cases for sale as 'refurbished', for only $27 shipped. So, I had to build in it. I didn’t build quite as powerful a system, though.
I built my 12 year-old niece a PC with this case. It was surprisingly easy to build in. It was with an old 10100F and an RTX 3050, though, not with part like yours...
I just got this case for an ultra budget build to sell. But I'm putting hardware in it that's going to draw about 75W total. It is the lightest PC case I've ever seen. But I see that as a good thing because I am selling online so it really cuts down on shipping cost. Good thing I have black fan screws.
Quick question here, what connector does the $18 fan use. 2 pin or 4 pin? And if it is 2 pin, where would it plug in? Sorry if this is a basic question.
Which out watching finish because I did build in similar size and cheaper case the major issue is that the graphic card is choking on it's own exhaust. Since it is so small there is not enough positive air pressure move all the hot air trapped under the graphic card out to be replaced with cooler air. The graphic card actually is acting as a shroud locking all the hot air it exhaust under it. Edit: I was using a rx 470 and it cooked at 89C. Intel i5 6500, 2x8gb ram, 2.5 ssd and 2.5 4tb hdd screwed at the bottom too. Once you have even 1 of the 2.5" spots at the bottom screwed in the graphic card is screwed. Ambient temps 27C (cause I live in penang).
I have a question for anyone/everyone. I have two PCs. One has a Ryzen 5900x and the other a Ryzen 5800X3D. I have an RX 7900 XTX and I was wondering which PC would perform best with that GPU. Right now it is paired with the 5900x.
the 5800x3d is the fastest gaming cpu available on the am4 platform. assuming similar memory speeds, it will almost always outperform the 5900x in gaming. if you have any multithreaded workloads other than gaming, it might make sense to use the 5900x for its higher core count - but for gaming, the 5800x3d is **definitely** the better cpu.
@@ThrasherEscapes Therein lies my dilemma. The computer with the 5900x is my "main" system. I use Topaz Video AI for upscaling and enhancing older videos. That is why I have the 7900 XTX with the 5900x. The only game I ever play is PUBG. I just didn't know if the 5800X3D might outperform the 5900x in the rendering of videos. Thanks for the response!
@@Hallow334 most of the workload in topaz primarily uses the gpu, so i imagine the results between the 5800x3d and 5900x are minimal. 5800x3d still might make more sense, as it is much better for gaming - especially if you have a high refresh rate monitor and since you have a powerful gpu. if i were you, i'd definitely at least try the 5800x3d in the main rig for a week or two. worst case scenario, you could switch back to the 5900x - but i bet you wouldn't need to.
Getting the non bling hardware is always the cheaper solution. Given rgb typically adds a 10~20% price premium for the same hardware it all adds up when you factor in each part. By going with a cheaper older amd 3d cpu you could have enjoyed the same performance for hundreds less.
It is best practice to use the same brand and model of memory. Chances are that it will work fine, but I would recommend it. If you install mismatched RAM speed, the system will default to the lower speed memory, which negates the purpose of faster memory.
A great idea on this deal of build this PC unit w/ high-end parts on a cheaper PC case guys its a risk but worth it! Maybe midrange PC specs be better for it! More to come!
It's a great buy tbh but alienware has so much proprietary stuff it's a horrible idea if anything breaks or goes bad you have to find the same part from the same computer or your screwed
Parts for the build are less than $2,000 minus taxes. You're selling the "Worst Case" build for $2,350 + Shipping.$350 is a large profit margin for a Great Case. This PC will only be coming with a 30 day parts and labor warranty!Good grief guys, just put the parts in a good case, don't change the price and show you care about your customers & the products you sell.
I mean now we need the jankiest, old rubbish parts in the best case right? Case swap a Lenovo office pc into an Lian Li O11 Dynamic? Imagine all the dodgy proprietary conversion connectors being seen through all that glass... 😆
lol it’s even dented out of the box. Stellar 😂
sleeper build, Crooks breaks in, sees $25 case on the counter, leave it, not worth the weight to carry, what couldnt be worth anything..haha
YOOOOO I used this case for a much lower powered HTPC/steam machine about a year ago. Its been great for my use case.
I have a very similar PC and I have to say that everything is fine but I just think I have to look for a Windows key to see if it is optimized better.
It may work for you but always on buses in places like BNH Software which are a good reference
I built a PC in that case.

I built a medium quality build in this case and I'm scared to leave the side panel on 😂
I almost unironically bought this case for my computer but bought the asus ap201 instead. I'm really happy with the ap201. This case doesn't seem too bad
I like how you guys are doing more expensive builds.
I bought that case. I bought some mesh with magnetic strips and replaced the side with it. It has a 4600G and a Radeon 5500 4gb. Works fine.
Now replace the side panel with that big fan
stays decently cool with a 4690k and 1080. Also you could have gotten a thermalright fan for $7.
Love seeing yall give Finals some love
Make a computer out of beans

Agreed
I made a PC screwed to a wooden board with a water cooled GPU, using a £30 fan header powered pump/res combo.
I built a 1080p gaming PC in one of these cases last month out of spare parts and goodwill finds. Was fun and actually isn't absolutely terrible. The case is, but the PC is ok.
"BEST Gaming PC in the WORST Case"
PCbros just invented the "sleeper PC"
*Still looks better than my PC 😂*

You should build one inside of a hamster cage.
Keep doing these weird builds! Love them!

I like these type of videos with using a terrible case with high end components. I'd say take the rtx 4080 & make a build out of it.
There are so many trash things about this case that makes it feel special.
next video: worst components in the best pc case
The 9950x is the greatest...? I wouldnt say that.
It is the greatest AMD offers overall (productivity as priority), but for gaming only 7800X3D is the greatest
They didn't say the greatest, they said the best gaming PC. But then we all know what click bait is for.
@@MrBluePoochyena The 9800X3D is probably going to be announced in October.
Nice I want this build just cause this is a total undercover pc
That case is only 10 bucks in my country 🤣
I would love to see a budget gaming PC that plays DayZ at high settings..... JS ;)

Can you do the best pc in one of these $30 aerocool cases?
Could you test day z in your next budget PC video

YET AGAIN AWESOME JOB!
box fan mod like back in the day
Why do i like this so much?
I'm honestly surprised that the GPU wasn't cooking itself while gaming, those 4070 Tis run cooler than I expected.

to drop temps on cpu you probably could've added a contact frame
Is it ok to mix ram brands ? And Use 1 stick of 16gb and 2 8gb sticks

motherboard is probably not the issue tech yes city has tested low end mb with high end cpu before usually was ok.
yep issue is the cooler
i got this case for 9$ after credits on temu used it with a gtx 16504gb and xeon 2640 worked great
Reminds me of my pc. I had to take half of it apart to fit in my GPU, lol.
Can you tell me which is better? Rtx 3070ti or rx 6700xt long term 🤔
Whichever has most Vram and better raw performance without needing any frame gen or dlss.
Yeah you need that vram
Only offering a 30 day warranty with this pc build is a little suspicious…
Nice build and nice video.
Meh, I cut my Victus to stuff a 7600 OC in it 😂 grinder can always make a little room when needed
the insanity is, they want $2400 for this build on pcbros.
Just ordered a aurora r16 my first pc do you guys think that’s good
