- Pioneer brings big, sharp touchscreens to your dash with the DMH-WT7600NEX and DMH-WT8600NEX receivers. Their floating-screen design allows them to fit into a single-DIN opening, making them fit more cars.

The difference between the two is the screen size. The 7600NEX gives you a 9-inch screen, while the 8600 boasts a 10.1-inch screen. Both are 720p resolution, so very sharp and easy to read. The displays can be adjusted during installation to make it integrate better with different dashes.
The best use of these receivers is by using either Android Auto or Apple CarPlay with your phone, but it's got Bluetooth also. You can add satellite radio, and it's got an HD Radio tuner for local stations.

What if you are not going to mount the screen to the single din chassis and instead want to mount the screen on the dash - what mounting options does the screen have for that scenario? Also is the back of the screen sleek looking, in situations where the back of the screen will be visible on the dash, through the windshield etc? Thanks.
Pioneer does not include mounting hardware for that type of application, so you'd have to customize something for that option.
Just purchased the 9" unit. I tried to change the clock from 24 hour to 12 hour mode. Also having problems balancing the speakers to come out front and rear speakers. The manuals included with this unit is useless. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Hi Frank, sorry to hear about the issues with your new radio. To set the time, you should be able to choose your preferred format via the "Clock Settings" menu by choosing
"Time display format". As to the fade controls, be sure you're set to " Standard Mode" instead of "Network Mode" via the audio menu settings. If you find you need to switch to "Standard Mode", you'll need to choose
"All Settings "and "Restore" to restore the settings to the default settings and then start the setup again. If you got your radio here, you can call our Tech Support as well. Their direct number is on your invoice.

Does it have a fast boot option, current warm boot time I’ve seen is 13 secs

I put pioneer dmh-wt8600nex on the honda pilot lx 2020 but doesn't work everything like when open door don't show on the screen nothing
At this time, we do not have an interface that can tie receivers like these into the databus of your Pilot so it can display those alerts. This may change in the future so you may want to check back at a later time
I have 2015 subaru crosstrek premium with starlink telematics unit will this will be compatible with the pioneer head units ?

These models have a micro-HDMI input that is used when mirroring compatible smart devices. You will need to adapt your Samsung's USB C to micro-HDMI to mirror it

Ive got the 9 icnh one.
They dont have the option in settings for lets say usb.
When playing songs one song is loader than the other and your manly turning up down volume to keep same song volume level..
Had and older pioneer that had this in setting, 3 levels to maintain a equal volume between songs..

The screens are not interchangeable.

The chassis is 7.025" wide, 1.975" tall. the face is 9.085" wide and 5.155" tall.

The issue with some of these "floating screens" is that there's not always a dash kit available for every vehicle to make it fit properly. Even though they have single din chassis, the face or screen is heavy which is the issue for some of the dash kits, they can't keep it secure in the dash cavity. If this is a radio you're very interested in, you can always consult with a professional installer and they may be able to make a custom dash kit for your vehicle. What is the year, make, and model of your truck?
