I have an frs thank god for this video, i was wondering how this radio looked inside. Did u do any mounting adjustments apart from the height adjustment?
No mounting adjustments required, it fits perfectly, just adjusted height to the clients preference and that was it. It is a great radio in our opinion.
Hey. I have this in my car (I had it installed because I’m terrible at running wires) but my hdmi wire needs to be replaced. I need to get the screen off the “main unit” to get my dash out and get to the main unit. How did you mount the screen? It looks like there is either 2 or 4 little screws on the side of the black piece that slides down over the wire of the screen. Take those out and that black piece should slide up. What screws need to be removed from there in order for me to detach the screen from the main unit?
Yes we used the Maestro RR, but for triggering side view cameras we used a CRUX CSS-41 switcher, see the link below: lockdownsecuritycanada.ca/collections/all/products/crux-css-41-video-switcher-with-turn-signal-triggers-and-wireless-remote-control
is there a comprehensive install video for this or a wiring diagram. I can't get the side view cameras to work. i have it hooked to the turn signal power wire and my screen switches to camera view, but there is no video. I individually tested the cameras to make sure they work so i'm guessing its an issue with the power going in and out. I also am not able to see the cameras by pressing the remote buttons. I can only see the reverse camera when in reverse. Am I suppose to connect the red wires to constant power as well as the turn signal indicator wires?
You have to connect ignition power to the red wire of the CSS-41, ground to the black wire, then turn signal trigger goes to the specific left and right signal trigger on the CSS-41. You are not getting video as the red wire has no power, so the switcher is OFF.
@@LockdownSecurity I do have the red wire of the CSS-41 spliced into the red ignition power wire coming from my head unit connector. The only camera that will work as it should is the rear backup camera. I assume because it has constant power when in reverse where the blinkers have intermittent power, but i've since disconnected the trigger wires since my radio stops playing when it switches to video. I've tried connecting the red wires on the other sides of the trigger wires and for some reason it doesn't show video but acts as though the trigger has been activated and just stays on a blue screen. I am at a loss for why I can't figure this out. Is there a wiring diagram that shows exactly how this is wired with 4 cameras so the cameras can be seen with the remote activated buttons?
I wish you guys were based in the U.S. so I could have you put that setup in my car and also add the proximity lock/unlock device in one of your other videos.
We can help you even if you are not in Canada, email sales@lockdownsecurity.ca and we will set you up with the products you want and need, and the right installer in your area as well.
No kit released yet for the 2022 Civic, and we have not confirmed whether the kit for the 2021 Civic will fit (I don't think it will as the 2022 is a redesign of the vehicle).
Yes we have a remote start for the 2007 VW Passat, email us at sales@Lockdownsecurity.ca for details. Or visit the following page on our site: lockdownsecuritycanada.ca/collections/volkswagen-passat
Can you add a link in the description for everything you said I can't find it

You are correct, there are 4 mini screws holding the screen onto the radio, which need to be removed in order to take the screen off.
9" screen
Are you using the maestro RR? What are you triggering the side view cameras off of?

@@LockdownSecurity Right, but what signal wire? Is there one that triggers the R / L blinkers that has a constant voltage?
@@BDHarrington7 we use two wires, one for right, one for left, signal light (these wires pulse 12 volts when the signal is on).

Yes of course, email sales@lockdownsecurity.ca or call us at 1-866-824-4118, we will get you set up with all you need.
I have this radio connected to a micro hdmi to hdmi. I cant get it to mirror from my Samsung S20 or S22.
You'd have to check to see if your phone offers HDMI mirroring as a feature, many Android phones do not
