I think it's because as someone mentioned in an earlier comment, your character was more of a children's baddie but Foil's was more of an adult baddie #JusticeForFoil

My dream has always been a version of Ocean's Eleven where the heist lads all have different regional accents. Cork, Cockney, Kiwi, Jamaican, Baltimore, Fargo, Drogheda, etc.

After Foil did his audition, I expected him to walk out of the studio all pleased with himself only to bump into Hog, who pauses as the villainous production values kick in then utters, "You fell right into my trap."

Can’t remember where the scene of the is in the film though (I think it’s from the film not the series). I love it when Foil gets to do a funny role, not being a Foil for others and Hog gets to do a serious role because most of the time he's the one playing characters that hog the limelight😂 That's so fresh and fun to watch😂😂😂
This is giving me flashbacks of the endless hours I’ve spent over the years, helping an actor friend get off book. Thing is, we WOULD make a point of finding out what kind of vibe the director was looking for, and we’d painstakingly fine tune my friend’s delivery of every line… and then a day or two later she would contact me with the disheartening news that the playwright and/or director had decided on a last minute complete overhaul, what had been intended as drama was going to be treated more as comedy now, those raw, heartfelt moments that we had perfected were now supposed to be played as slapstick, that brilliant line that my friend had absolutely NAILED had been cut from the script… From time to time, some theater-related acquaintance of hers would ask me why I, too, didn’t get into acting? I could never stress forcefully enough: I am SO glad I am not an actor!
Whilst watching I thought it was going to turn out that Hog was a competitor for the part and deliberately giving Foil a bum steer. Another v. funny sketch guys.
I don't know what I want to see more, a fillum with Foil playing the baddie but also the insecure roomie, or a lion-dinosaur fight produced by Herrn Director Klaus Van McKenna!

I watch these so many times - I come back all throughout the day and give myself the present of a few minutes...I must admit, Foil is scarily good at the evil! the last one with the mug (without the tic) was actually chilling. Love it so much!
When Hog revealed it was the Christmas musical after all of Foil’s work and then Arms jumped out - I literally had to pause the video because I couldn’t breathe from laughing so bloody hard 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 BRILLIANT the rhythm and timings in the sketch, sheer comedic brilliance!
Definitely need some kind of series with Foil playing the token bad guy with a more exaggerated Arms style "baddie" LOL LOVE seeing the lads play up different accents, the vocal range is phenominal!
Loved how Foil still had the facial tic going on as it cut to the outro starting. And the little extras added in in post production-just one thing about those though; TH-cam seems to have thwarted your brilliant efforts with them but covering em up with the ‘watch next’ previews and such so they couldn’t really be seen… aside from that, this was yet another gem though!
If we had more baddies like Foil, I think the English stereotype may fade. Shame the role wasn’t for a Bond villain, I think he might have cracked the code there!

This made me laugh so much, the acting, the lighting, editing were brilliant and the outro hilarious! I shouldn't be surprised by their talent by now but they are so creative each time! (And burnt my vegetables reading the comments, but I have no regrets;)
