As a true leader a true king for his people, for his friends, for his loved ones he would gladdly give His life to fulfill His duty. A true king, a true warriors a true hero.
Yeah it gives flashbacks to the Darmani Song of Healing scene in Majora's Mask - already back then I found this to be one of the strongest, most emotional Zelda cutscenes - he was celebrated, cheered on by his people - yet he failed them and feels huge sorrow for them, and gets haunted by this
As soon as Daruk gets trapped in Rudania he transmits his SOS signal. But almost simultaniously does Ganon with SAD. As soon as Ganon shows itself in the darkness, their fight ensues. Daruk takes some nasty hits (synthwave inducing open wounds). But Daruk still hangs on. Their fight gets intense with Daruk throwing everything he got at Ganon. But to no avail. He begins to panic under his breath as soon as he feels to get shake on his legs. But it is too late.
This theme sounds like a steady battle for Daruk and Fireblight. It’s getting tougher and tougher for Daruk as the song goes on until he loses the battle. He even had his alert set instantly in the beginning. And it started off as an impending danger
The first time I played BOTW I was stuck looking for the terminal behind the flames but I wasn't even mad or frustrated because I was enjoying the music, Rudania has the best music out of all the Divine beast imo
It's so unique how to open that door. I'm more surprised at my younger self for succeeding in that part to get that terminal because of what you must do in order to open the door. For those who don't know, to open the door (eye hole), you must first obtain the torch given to you in one of the first chests inside the Divine Beast. Then, light it up with blue fire, and get ready to launch it through the hole. The fire would light up the pedestal seen through the eye hole. You can hear the SOS theme play before anything else in Rudanias them. Then Naboris an Ruta come in after an intrumint plays. but Medoh only plays about 16 seconds in. Rudanias theme plays through the whole thing. Daruk calledfor help nearly the whole time. Urbosa and Mipha both called for help, but had very small breaks inbetween. Revalli called for help after a very long time, most likely because he has trouble calling for help. Daruk was the most foword with the SOS calls, them lasting nearly the whole time, as after the fight begun, he knew he could stand no fight against Fireblight.
Something that's also increadibly noticeable is that his plays the second softest, because he wanted link and Zelda to focus on saving Mipha first as he knew he could hold Fireblight off for a while. Urbosa, in response, finally sent out her response immediately after hearing Daruk's but sent it even softer, as she too believed that she could hold Thunderblight off. Mipha's is the second loudest but plays right from the start, most likely because she was the closest to Hyrule Castle, hateno and kakariko, but maybe also because she was the closest to death as we hear the Search and Destroy message from Water light get louder and louder as it stalks her. Revali's is the loudest but it comes in last, literally being a panic button as he sends it at roughly 16s but is more of a "get me the fuck outta here" than the others "please help me"
Daruk kept the most calm, he was putting everyone else before him. It was kinda like, I think I can hang on for a while longer, help the others. Urbosa was similar to this as well.
@@The_Hang3d_Manmy personal theory is that Mipha was trying to hide from Waterblight hence why it came so early, while the two brave warriors chose to fend off the beasts and give Mipha’s prevalence. From 2:00, an "alarm" sound begins to sound. I think this is a materialization of the stifling heat present during the duel between Daruk and Fireblight. Thanks to Hyrule Warriors, we have a possible representation of combat. We see the shadow breaking the defenses of the Goron leader with heavy attacks. But we also see Daruk go through a lot and be quite slow even though he is fast in the DLC2 cutscene. This is where heat comes into play. We saw in BotW that Gorons are resistant to heat but not very resistant to extreme temperatures. A quest with gorons asks us to hold on to a hot plate for as long as possible. Gorons can tolerate the heat for a while but eventually they give in to fatigue. We know that heat has devastating effects on the body. But on top of that, Daruk had to fight for his life. Although he was very strong and very resistant, the effort and the infernal heat exhausted him quickly, preventing him from fighting optimally.
They did an amazing job with the music for each divine beast and champion. Really captures the moment of despair etc Botw over TOTK in my op. But both 10/10
I cannot believe that it has been 6 years since this song was posted. I always would listen to this song and imagine Rudania walking around. The nostalgia of this game is insane abd lovely for me. Gotta be my most nostalgic Zelda.
I swear I always loved Rudania as a kid, to the point of being obsessed, but I mean, how can you blame me? it’s such a cool dungeon! the fact it’s a giant lizard, the stealth section before entering it, the music! it was all so cool! obviously I ended up going for it first.
I mean, Va Rudania was named after Darunia from OOT because he was one of the sages so it makes sense why it would have some OOT references in the soundtrack
My rankings of the divine beasts: *4. Vah Medoh.* (He was the least memorable, didnt have good music and an easy boss. Also I didn't really feel like this was something very serious, if felt like a shrine. Althought, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WHEN YOU HAVE TO SHOOT THE DIVINE BEAST BEFORE GOING IN. it might be my favorite divine beast attacking out of all. It is so intense and so fun .So don't get me wrong, it was awesome *3. Vah Rudania.* (The feeling you are in a giant beast in the core of a volcano really made it awesome. The music really describes that vibe. You are stranded in a volcano. I also really like Daruk) One last thing to mention, the shooting before we go inside the beast was really fun. I really like Yunobo *2. Vah Ruta.* I wish I could put Vah Rudania and Ruta on the same place. I dont like how you dont really feel endangered by the place you are in, but the music makes it different and really describes Mipha's character. Also, I like how its different from the other divine beasts cuz it gets more depressing instead of more hopeful as the song goes on. Its because she doesnt want Link to fight Waterblight. Link and Mipha were really close. *1. VAH NABORIS.* I love every single thing about this divine beast. I remember before even knowing what divine beasts were, finding a large monstrosity in the middle of a desert. I thougbt it was friendly, so I walked towards it. I died lol. When I got Vah Ruta, I decided to return back to Naboris. When I did everything and was ready to take on the beast, that feeling hit me. I never imagined myself here. When we shot it down, and I climbed on it, i started listening to the wonderful music that perfectly depicts everything about the beast. As Naboris was still wandering around the desert, I was watching. I was watching at the whole desert while moving, and listening to the tunes. I realized how much I progressed. How much I improved. As the music got more and more hopeful from the depressing tune, I felt truly epic. i fought thunderblight ganon and beat him(it wasnt easy) and I finally freed urbosa. I would never forget this divine beast because I felt like I was actually there in real life.
Everyone said this one make em feel like they in skyward sword/spirit tracks...and i definitely cannot front it definitely do. Didnt they have the same composer?

We know that heat has devastating effects on the body. But on top of that, Daruk had to fight for his life. Although he was very strong and very resistant, the effort and the infernal heat exhausted him quickly, preventing him from fighting optimally.
This divine beast theme gives me more nostalgia than the others for some reason
They did an amazing job with the music for each divine beast and champion. Really captures the moment of despair etc
Botw over TOTK in my op. But both 10/10
I loved this song last year! It's feels so good to replay this song this year.
This is the best music 🎵 of all the divine beasts, so atmospheric and misterious, I love those guitar strings at 1:59 so cool.
The music at the end really had me pumped to defeat fireblight ganon
I love listening this only summer season 🌞🌞🌞
Reminds me of Dodongo's Cavern
you can hear Kaepora Gaepora’s theme if you listen closely. so many people missed this and i think i’m one of the few people to realize it
I mean, Va Rudania was named after Darunia from OOT because he was one of the sages so it makes sense why it would have some OOT references in the soundtrack
Love this theme!
My rankings of the divine beasts:
*4. It is so intense and so fun .So don't get me wrong, it was awesome
*3. Vah Rudania.* (The feeling you are in a giant beast in the core of a volcano really made it awesome. The music really describes that vibe. You are stranded in a volcano. I also really like Daruk) One last thing to mention, the shooting before we go inside the beast was really fun. I really like Yunobo
Vah medos music was good tho
@@leobe2104 well now I realized it is and I love medoh
@@howlerr08 character development 👏🏻
@@caguay my list is mad different now
1. Medoh
2.Naboris
3.Rudania
4. Ruta
actually naboris and medoh might be on the same place yk
Awesome song!
Everyone said this one make em feel like they in skyward sword/spirit tracks...and i definitely cannot front it definitely do. Didnt they have the same composer?
Maybe a little of Earth Temple from Skyward Sword, but for me just it's soundtrack.
I KNEW something sounded familiar!
It has for me kinda a mix of Twilight Princess, then in the end of the Melody's Period is that bit of Skyward Sword
This one felt nostalgic for a reason!! I does have Spirit Tracks vibes now that you mention it
2:26 this part reminds me of the music for the fire temples in Skyward Sword
This song underrated af
My favorite divine beast theme so far, i find this theme so magic and relaxing bringing me memories of Skyward Sword's Earth´s temple
vah rudania was my favourite divine beast
The beginning of this song reminds me of the theme for Skull Woods on A Link Between Worlds
My favorite parts have to be the (please excuse me idk instrument names) breathy flute and the instrument that plays at 3:00- 3:07
Vibe with me at phase 1 to final
I believe that the gongs are when the blight hits daruk or him protection, since gongs need to be hit to make sound
This is fr traveling through the desert vibes
No its not
@@just_momito mb dawg
i could barely beat them without a walkthrough at first
Daruk is the only champion that has bonded with link in under a year its sad that you fight his and the other champions twisted bodys
what you mean by fighting their bodies?
@@Jakob-l3v there's apparently some theory about the blight Ganons possessing the champions' corpses (I don't really agree with it, though)
1:19 ☀️💛
who else cried from nostalgia
me
so who else noticed a hint of Kaepora Gaepora’s theme form OoT in here?
You're right, it sounds like Kaepora's theme mixed with the Song of Time.
5:02 :)
Seems like that's the faint line for Rudania, the line which shows when the champion died
this song is good
anyone back here after fire temple totk?
Lmfao yep
don't mind me, just looking for that leitmotif!
To think Link was in a coma this whole time
Technically Link was awake when the four Divine Beast battles too place. All four Champions died before Link fell defending Zelda, he was the last of the Champions to fall and only then was put in the healing coma at the Shrine of Resurrection
go to 0:43 fs you want to actually start the music
5:12 nah this is a horror game, change my mind.
Inside of Vah Rudania
1:19
I see some of y’all mishearing this; the SAD call comes before the SOS call
This is so reminiscent of Zelda spirit tracks somehow
I'm sorry, but Vah Rudania > Fire temple
nah all divine beasts > temples
@@ellen.alright nah absolutely not
The first song sounds like death
I forgot how all these songs slap
3:36 is where the best part starts
do all divine beasts before naboris
it will make thundeblight easier
I'm sure this is trustworthy advice and that each subsequent blight battle does not have 400 more hp than the last
I do Naboris first, lol.
GORO
Istg this game clears totk
This dude be acting as if both games couldn’t coexist as masterpieces 😂🙏🏻
1:19 best part
This has some Sekiro vibes
nothing in totk will match this, not even colgera
Why do gorons and lizards go so well with flutes?
The beginning sounds like the 3-body problem netflix theme song
Did this song play in Skyward Sword? It sounds so familiar particularly around the 2:40 mark
Skyward Sword Earth Temple? I feel that as well!
@@halallink2003 Yeah I think it's very similar to the Lanayru Desert music in SS but not quite the same, guess that's why it felt so familiar but also hard to find
@@waldevv I understand you! I thought of SS earth temple music because both use drums and flute, and guitar as well! And both are fire! Lanayru Sand Sea comes close!
0:01
What instrument is this 1:38?
Most probably 'sitar'.
SOS is in the left ear, another one is in the right.
Maybe SAD but Im not sure...
it's sad
WHY DIDNT TOTK HAVE BETTER OST THAN THIS
Sounds like Arabic music
Lol 😂 no Arabs would associate this as their music … if you would had said Bollywood or Indian it would be closer …. Or even gypsy-ish but ain’t arab at all
nice
Thé SOS call Is in all thé music and thé code nees to bé ...---...
Why is breath of the wild such a sad dark game
I just sampled this to a bsnger of a beat
Anyone here cuz of Zelda Adventure (mc)?
Is it just me or do I hear a Morse Code in the song?
Skyward Sword Fire Sanctuary
maybe im deaf or something but ive tried listening to all the songs and i dont hear shit for beeps lol
Literally the first noise that comes in right at the very beginning is the SAD beeps. If you are listening with headphones they're way easier to pick up
@@VegetaLF7 gotcha. I’ll try next time I go to the gym.
Wtf are those supoosed sos signs people talk about in the comments?
the SOS Signs are morse code. Right at the beginning of the Video you can hear the beeps. That's Morse Code for SOS
It's the Champions calling for backup.
The beeps you hear in the beginning and for the whole duration of the song in the background represent the morse code for SOS. You can hear the beeps in the other divine beast themes as well. The champions are calling for link.
It's Morse code. The champions were using it to call for help but since they all died before anyone could get to them, it had been playing for 100 years, which is why you can hear it in the divine beasts' themes
At the beginning you hear little bips it's Morse and it spell sos and after in the song you Can hear.... --.. It's S.A.D IT SAY SEARCH AND DESTROY
