Depends. I usually fight him again. So it's either Epona or the White Horse Descendant (whom I called Zelda) usually, or this horse that looks exactly like the Memory Horse that Link has.
You See a flash of light and you notice that you are in the grasslands. Next to you is your horse. You turn around and see the dark beast known as Ganon. You pull out the master sword and the Hylian shield and prepare to battle the Dark Beast. You jump onto your horse as you rush to the bow of light, you grab the bow,and you hear these words in your ears... *Courage Need Not Be Remembered.* *For It Is Never Forgotten.*
Slit the dark beast phase is so much easier than the first, the first is hard af when you face it for the first time, especially during master mode, however it’s still pretty fun.

I'm sorry I'm a bit late to the game but I got this about a month ago, I bet everyone would consider it easy but I considered it grinding cuz I suck at single player games, but during the end I hesitated to shoot the guys eye because I was thinking this is it, we finally made it, just simply everything we have been working towards and then I started thinking what links story was about and I just saw the deeper meaning, the writing of the story itself was what convinced me to buy the sequel in May even though I just started on the franchise
@@snsvideos5472 , welcome, you won't be dissapointed, Zelda is a wonderful and complex and deep franchise in general, with a lot of story and lore and a cronology, even if sometimes on the outside it doesn't seem so, if you dig a little deeper you start to see the tail of something much deeper, and it's because it is in general, so complex and so much story and lore that it can be confusing sometimes, but it's awesome, and I love games with a lot of story and lore that are really deep and meaningful and make you feel things

Faliz18 Well then who is? EDIT: In hindsight, this wasn’t a very fair comment to make. I appreciate the point you were trying to make more now, but I still steadfastly stand by my statement after this response.
Faliz18 While I can understand what you're saying I think that's a bit of a leap in logic, I'm sure all he meant was that loves this piece with perhaps a little bit of juvenile hyperbole. I doubt he literally meant it is objectively the most intricate piece of music ever composed, it's just his opinion and he is expressing how much he loves it. I love it too.
I am an eight grader pianist. I am playing this song, solo, for my piano recital. I have spent three months on this piece, and it has not been easy. But taking the time to really understand the music has been its own journey. You get the chance to fully understand Links emotions throughout the battle. Ganon’s unrelenting, firelike rage in the piano is fully demonstrated throughout the piece. Link and Zelda’s battle for light in the strings. Beautiful. The depth of this game and this piece is something special. Tears of the Kingdom is one week away, I hope it delivers just as it’s predecessor did.
This has got to be one of the coolest soundtracks in the entire game, it just keeps getting more exiting the farther you get with the fight. The people who made this music are LEGENDS
Everyone is mad this fight was easy. I think the point was to make a fight that felt fluid and epic. It doesn't have to be hard to HIT you hard. The final boss of Shadow Of The Colossus (a game that is only Boss fights) is much easier than the other bosses. You dodge his magic attack which is easy if you know what you're doing, and then the ascent to his head is simple, easy, and painless. The other colosi thrash and attack and scream while you're on them, while the final Colossus simply looks on curiously at what you may be doing on him. His vicious attacks and threatening stature are taken down by his docile behavior. However this fight is the most powerful of all. The moving music and somber tone is as amazing as it should be. The final music and the fact your trusty steed accompany you in the final fight against Ganon make for an atmospheric experience. Hearing the theme we'd been teased with for 5 years played with the same piano that accompanied us the whole game playing fast and triumphant should be satisfying you people. And keep in mind the DLC pack is a whole new story line. Calamity Ganon may not even be the FINAL boss. The ending is a sort of cliff hanger.
I agree with you cus i felt the same ...the fight felt, yes, easy as all would like to say, but also quite epic, and you forgot to mention that this part has the best line that Zelda says in the entire game, a very quotable one and also, the way she helps you is quite important for the story and serves to settle more her character. And that's without mentioning how they make you use the slow mo for the final shot directly to the head, sealing the deal with shear epicness.
how big brain do you feel right now having predicted breath of the wild 2: the phantom ganon mummified corpse? i came here to remind you. that you are. in fact. correct.
Yes, but the fight was so easy that it ruined the epic atmosphere. Heck you Don't even need your horse and the light arrows to beat the boss. Personally, I would have add a timer to the fight, to reflect how Dangerous the Dark Beast would be if Link doesn't defeat it right now, it would have been better
I really love how this starts off with terror in the presence of Ganon, then we hear the piano fade in. This reminds Link that he must win, then there is the battle kicking off (Link realizing, this will be the final fight) its perfect Link going from terrorized to adrenaline pumping to on his toes ready to fight. This truly does capture Links bravery and terror at the same time. Also I love how at the end it gets faster and more suspenseful (Link now determined to defeat Ganon, knowing he will) I know the triforce of courage isn't used but this embodies courage at its finest, being scared on the inside but overcoming that fear. btw the roars of the beast in the background bring you to the setting.
My favorite reference in Botw is the final battle of Dark Beast Ganon, and the overall musicality of the song. At the very beginning it introduces such a "dark beat" that is consistent all the way through. The song truly begins with it's reference to the field battle theme with the piano solo, then transitions into the game's main theme, but with a twist. I can't say for sure if it is, but I'm pretty confident the main theme in the battle was written in a minor key, to give the "world is ending" type feel the song. In addition, it has a piano harmony referencing riding a horse throughout the overworld. In the middle of the piece it "slows down" a bit for a peaceful motif using the flutes' solo, reminding the player of the peacefulness they are fighting for. To top it all off, the song transitions to Ganondorf's main theme, reminding the player it truly is the fight for Hyrule. This is only phase one though, transition into phase two and the song introduces a heroic motif. The song becomes a smaller loop of the main theme, but back in a major key like it was written for. It still contains the piano harmony of riding the horse and suspenseful "dark beat" from the very first note performed, yet it introduces the heroic trumpets in the background to rise the player's morale. "I can do this! Hyrule can win!" That is what I believe this sounds like. Then to the final phase of shooting the classic eyeball, a short simple tune to top the entire battle off, with Zelda's Lullaby being partially used in this theme, a reference to her holding Ganon back for a hundred years. Dark Beast Ganon's theme I feel is a masterpiece, and an underrated one. Many references coming together to create a piece of music that represents the battle for Hyrule. Unfortunately I don't feel like the battle itself truly lived up to its piece, which may be why this piece of music is so underrated.
This piece is so amazing. From Ganon’s theme in the bass to Link represented in the main theme, and, as I see it, Zelda in the occasional flute. The piano sounds like it represents the fierce battle. The key change in the middle of the song sounds triumphant, Link and Zelda are winning the fight, you can barely get Ganon in the bass anymore. The transition to the final repeating notes, all the turmoil in the song is gone, it’s time to end it, and you can hear a note that’s reminiscent of the tone that Zelda’s power creates. And when you finally lease that arrow, the music stops, all you hear is the ring of Zelda’s power, overcoming Ganon’s malice, till silence, and a white screen. It’s over. This song, and this game, is beautiful.
The high pitched note that repeats itself definitely represents how Zelda is about to burst the moment that arrow of light strikes the eye, but also you can hear the bass in the back and it kinda shows how Ganon might finally realize he’s lost
XanderVJ Actually, yes, I did need her help quite a few times, and I've played about three times! I'll admit, I'm not the best at dodging, and the very first phase could have killed me had I not defeated all the Divine Beasts. So Mipha did save my sorry self while I recklessly chipped away at Calamity Ganon's health.
That moment when you're shooting the final arrow and zelda shouts Link do it! (May be something else, haven't played in forever, lost the cartridge, wish i could download from the store) was so epic i still get goosebumps
What I love most about this piece is the fact that they basically mixed links theme with the chaotic piano of ganons theme into perfect harmony resembling yin and Yang, this games sound track is so good with so many musical elements and techniques I love it
I remember passing my very last college exam ever with this in my ears. After so many years of struggle, it really amplified the "final boss" vibe I felt.

Okay, I posted this comment on another video post here too so yeah. I know the people who played in that orchestra for that masterpiece of a game won't see this. But thank you so much! I was really having a fall out with playing my viola (I've been playing for over 4 years) and thinking about quitting but this game, this music, this whole game series has helped me to become inspired to play again. This has helped me to enjoy my instrument and see how wonderful it is to play. When I hear music like this I always think to myself that one day I want to be able to play like that but I haven't had the inspiration to practice. Now I'm starting simple and I now know OOT music and some of Kass's theme. Heck, I've even started to try to learn vibrato. So what I'm trying to say is thank you. Thank you Legend of Zelda. I know that sounds weird that I'm thanking a game series but I'm serious that I'm so thankful to have discovered this game series and music. Also, where is this pianist we must find them!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS OST the musicians are so damn cool for composing and playing this also the references to at least oot ganondorf theme is wonderful
I just imagine, people of all corners of hyrule waking to the divine beasts launching their attack, seeing the castle hit and seeing dark beast ganon on hyrule field. The very being that brought hyrule to ruin 100 years ago and continued too after. Just an overall epic scene and fight to experience
Its only for a split second, but you can hear a beat from his theme in ocarina of time. Due to me playing ocarina of time and fully completing it i noticed it instantly, even when fighting dark beast ganon. 1:18
You can complain about how easy this battle was all you want, but it is epic as hell! The music, the horse ride, Zelda landing the final shot, everything. It’s basically a reward for the player working so hard throughout the game.
And the sequel robbed us of our potential sequel to this masterpiece. Just think about that for a minute. The multi-trillion dollar company couldn’t put enough effort in to make another masterpiece of a track like this. It’s a shame.
My interpretation: the ending sounds unfinished, like it's missing the last notes to a contending end. I think it reflects how link's battle with Ganon is not yet finished either (hence BoTW2). Pretty cool foreshadowing for people to pick up on.
Im pretty sure that in the context of the score it's a vamp (a few measures indefinitely repeating until a cue) for the player to shoot Ganon's eye, I do like your interpretation though
@@lordcthulhu1609 The hero of light has failed before in one of the timelines, it ushers in an age of darkness until the next hero of light comes along and deposes Ganon again.
@@lordcthulhu1609 The cycle is never broken. Breath of The Wild, I believe (correct me if I'm wrong anybody) is in the failed timeline, which most likely explains why Hyrule is in complete ruins. I like how this theme mirrors the theme that plays when you first leave the Shrine of Resurrection and the game does that panning shot with Link looking over the cliff edge. That theme could represent the beginning of a long adventure, this one is that adventure nearing it's end.
I adore how the piano becomes more submissive to the rest of the melody as the song progresses; it really feels like Ganon is losing more and more power as the fight continues

Tin_Fu I rode the Giant Horse... as a middle finger to Ganon
Depends. I usually fight him again. So it's either Epona or the White Horse Descendant (whom I called Zelda) usually, or this horse that looks exactly like the Memory Horse that Link has.
Yep, I did(it was the only horse I had)

_man I love this game_

At 0:45, if you listen closely, you can hear the riding theme when you ride a horse during the day
Everyone is mad this fight was easy.
If the Legend of Zelda will published for nintendo Switch or WiiU we will know more ! I am so exited *-*
I agree with you cus i felt the same ...the fight felt, yes, easy as all would like to say, but also quite epic, and you forgot to mention that this part has the best line that Zelda says in the entire game, a very quotable one and also, the way she helps you is quite important for the story and serves to settle more her character. And that's without mentioning how they make you use the slow mo for the final shot directly to the head, sealing the deal with shear epicness.
how big brain do you feel right now having predicted breath of the wild 2: the phantom ganon mummified corpse?
i came here to remind you. that you are. in fact. correct.
I agree, I mean I wished the fight was much harder to begin with, I found it far too easy but I was definitely satisfied in the end anyway.
WTF is link doing in the picture?? You're shooting in the wrong direction dude!! Dafuq!!
Husain Alhamiri why is that a problem? XD
Because he does the same thing when I'm fighting a Lynel
