I love how the republic ship was just shooting at the ship in general and then the separatist ship was focused on the important parts like the bridge and hyperdrive.
look for a game called "from the depths." a lot like space engineers except it also includes naval and air combat, and it's specifically built for large battles.
Imagine this, Captain Jack host a video celebrating alot of subscribers and decided to do a space engineers video of the 1:1 Death Star controlled by Captain Jack vs the Rebel Fleet that consists his friends and the community.
One thing I suggest for a good star wars mod would be for them to limit the rate of fire of turbolasers to a whole second and a half rather than a constant. Just so it would increase the sim speed and improve overall performance while increasing immersion
That ramming scene was GORGEOUS! The sun framed dramatically behind two giant ships slamming into eachother - hulls spitting in half, with fragments and chunks raining down from the collision. I don't think you could have made that more beautiful if you were trying to :)
I haven't watched Episode 8 yet, but I'm pretty sure Snoke's ship is the Supremacy-class Mega Star Destroyer, and the Sovereign is just a smaller version of the Eclipse from the Dark Empire comic series.
I think the reason why i love this class ship is that its a multi purpose capital ship and has a mon calamari cruisers design which seems like the Rebel Allianc could have used in the cannon story. By the way, are there any lore of rebels using this particular class that I could look up?

Damn this was a great battle. I definitely think that the Providence wins this round, does this mean it will be the reining champion for the next slew of battles until it can be overtaken by another ship? That would be fun to see xD Maybe a Nebulon B, or perhaps a vs a slew of Tie Bombers?

Stage two is the still flying ship attacks the grounded ship after the ground team prepares emergency repairs and builds some defenses. Stage 3 is the players during it out with ground vehicles and any fighters that may have survived. This would be an interesting battle because with resources for the next engagement being damaged in the previous battles, it gives a certain defensive design encouragement.

Awesome idea, here some tactical advise though: The Venator, as most republic and imperial ships, is at its strongest when it has the enemy right in front of it, so all of the main batteries can fire at once. Do that and the sepratist cruiser should be down in no time
Empire: had their ship get used as space ship slicer in Rouge 1. Republic: *gets shot so much they could only manage a turn, and the battle droids lost their de-acceleration controls*
