This is amazing. I am a CGI enthusiast and hobbyist and I've seen thousands of CGI shorts and showreels etc but this holds a special place in heart. This is beautiful. You have much to be proud of.
Jedijazz4 have u seen astartes ?? That is bloody amazing?
Andrew Colucci it is amazing. I watch a lot of CGI and animation in general but I love me some sci fi. A lot of my top few land in that category. Rn I’m loving Three robots from Netflix’s love death and robots tho. The humor the animation and robots ooooo so much goodness.

The Eclipse not being used in the sequels is an absolute travesty.
Wasn't it even mentioned somewhere by name? Even if the class wasn't specifically mentioned I seem to remember something about an Imperial ship called the Eclipse going missing between Endor and Jakku or something like that
They should have used the Eclipse in place of the Fulminatrix, the Supremacy, and the Xyston-class Star Destroyers, maybe even Starkiller Base too; it would have fulfilled all of those roles flawlessly
The sequels are an absolute travesty.

how about a Star Wars series where it’s just all ships
Imagine if this was say... An opening to a movie
Should've done something similar to this involving Thrawn in ep7
The thing is TFA takes place 30 years after ROTJ and they shouldve made the fall of the New Republic more interesting
Samuel Rodriguez I agree, the New Republic just die as soon as three or four planets are destroyed by Starkiller base.
@@namename7030 the new republic was destroyed for the same reasons that the new Jedi order was. It was destroyed so they could rehash the original trilogy and he while rebels vs empire plot and they had no intentions on doing anything interesting with the new republic. .
Knower of truth It should’ve been different though, imagine the NR and the FO battling it out, the stake would be very high. I wish they went with something original, and I’m not talking about the OT.
EP 7 was going to start with a scene that showed a star destroyer apparently following a blockade runner (like ep 4). But it was in fact showing the destroyers being towed into Jakkus gravity well after the new republic had defeated the imperial fleet. It was a very cool concept.

the battle in the last Star Wars, okay but star Wars itself is pretty great in showing large Scale Space battles. Just think about the Fight over Scarif or the Battle of Coruscant or Yavin IV
I wouldn't say half, but you're in the ball park.
The remakes did a good job with the space battles, the original moves were alright, but limited in there animating capacity due to the restrictions of that day and age.
