Great one! Didn't know there was a third removable part in the steam wand! These machines also need to be greased with food-grade silicone every once in a while, especially the o-rings and the transmission rod. Super-automatic, but quite mantenance-intensive, too.
Thank you for this video!! I've had this machine for about 2 years and I didn't even know about the infuser.. It's probably had this mold for quite some time now.. And didn't even know the machine supported a water filter so I've just purchased a couple of those as well. Much appreciated mate.
It’s in the manual about the filter but man, I STILL have to read the manual for decalcification because just so many steps - I have this machine since 2017 and there were probably no video tutorials at that time😂 You probably won’t suffer without filter as for example Dolce Gusto doesn’t have it at all, but I believe the taste is better plus so many people have hard water just like us so it protects the machine from breaking too early from some calc issues:)
Tip for the water container guys, what I’ve heard: don’t use hard sponges, abrasives or harsh chemicals on the water container as it has some kind of a protective layer (against building up calc I believe, I noticed it never stays inside). Dish soap he shows is just enough👍
And then you forget to descale the machine (light keeps blinking), but otherwise extensive and in-depth video that's given enough insight into how to thorougly clean the device. Thanks.
Thanks for the video, very useful. Btw, how about the bean container, do I need to empty the coffee beans and clean the beans container regularly? Thanks.
nice video. i’m also looking for a way to clean the actual grinder and the area where the beans go…..like the concept of “cleaner beans” …..something you grind to CLEAN the blades on the grinder. do you know of anything like that?
what about the inside? My grandparents passed away and they left behind this coffee maker. I unscrewed it to find loads of tiny baby spider eggs and corpses. I cleaned as much as i saw and follow your guide for the rest of the system, but i still feel there might be spider residue inside the tubing. Is there any tutorial in cleaning them manualy, or does your technique render the device safe enough to use? Is the tubing isolated?
you need to de chalk it, hopefully that will unblock it. i noticed mine slowing down and think that the reason, layer of chalk inside the spouts and tubes slowing the flow.
Turn the middle dial on the front to near max. In the bean container, turn the dial for the ground level to 1.5 which will make it finer. Lastly, you can adjust the shot amount by holding the espresso button down and letting it go at the amount you want (instead of just pressing it). You can also do the same for the two cup espresso button. Also descale if you haven't already.

Idk why I never thought of using old tooth brush! Thanks a lot for the great tip!!
new tooth brush is just 1 euro and cleaning kit for bottles is also cheap that come with many long and thin brushes.

Really clear demonstration- thank you so much!
Is there a way to wipe or clean the grinder?
Perfect explanations, thank you so much for this video!! You are a lifesaver!!
Excellent video. Thank you
Nice video, very detailed and informative
I want to buy a used one. But the seller writes that it started making liquid coffee. What could be the reason, can you tell me?

if you do the de chalking cycle it should clean all the pipes and tubes
Thank You! From Hungary
I poured a little bit of hot soapy water down the grounds funnel to get that mouldy coffee out the top section of the machine.
Very clear. Thanks very much.
My middle thing don’t do nothing. It’s clogged I think there is no water or coffee coming out of it. But the milk part works fine

Thank you 🙏🏻 so much ☕️
thanks so very much
Tak for det 🙂
Why the coffee I get from this machine is very watery? I cannot get that strong coffee with this machine, any tips anyone?
