I had a sudden thought that this could be a good solution to an issue in a Wiggle Bones addon armature animation..since it has no proper collisions I need my seastar animated mesh to at least make it look as if it does not clip inside the ground floor of the sea..thanks ! this was exactly what I was looking for as a solution.

But you can skip the first half of the video about creating snow since there's an add-on for adding a snow surface.
now can this plane be put over a surface like say a mountain ??? or make the surface on the mountain this so that you could make someone ski or snowboard down?
I’d duplicate the mountain mesh and make the duplicate hover over the original, and then do the physics tutorial on the duplicate.

Hey guys, i have currently a problem with the scaling for the UVs on Minute 0:31 If i try to scale it up like in the video, it not matches anymore. Instead of that i have empty spaces on my face. How can i scale up the image ? I cant find any solve for the issue. I have installed Blender 3.3.1
Under the image texture node in the shader editor, change the image from SINGLE to REPEAT

I dont see the image as planes how do I fix that?
Go to edit on the top left corner of your window, then select preferences, then click on add ons, and lastly search and enable image as planes.

Snow isn't deforming, I followed everything.
Is it on a plane? If not that may be your reason why. Dynamic paint doesn’t work so well with complex shapes.
@@FilmOnFilms I used a plane so it took me a bit to figure it out but turns out I simply made the plane too big to work (I should've scaled my EpicFigRig Minifig down instead of upscaling the plane). Thank you for the tutorial.

May I ask what the problem is so that I can help you?
If the snow is popping upwards, scale the z-axis down to the negative number instead of the positive. If it was not this I might need clarification on what the problem is.
