Yes, I know I swear an awful lot in this video. I'm an absolute potty mouth and it definitely gets worse when I'm having a blast on this thing. I also wasn't revving the crap out of it either, which I should have been. This review in a nutshell: If you like, buy the bike. It's like riding a pushbike with a 321cc parallel twin stuck on it. It'll probably make you laugh and swear too.
This is the bike im planning on biking. Im not trying to do wheelies, or run from cops, or lane split at 108. Im 5'2 and i just want something fun, small, but still have the edge when i wanna goof off. this review made me so stoked. i can not wait
Just got this bike 4 days ago here in the states and it's almost a perfect fit for me (I'm 5'7) and let me tell you riding this bike at 10k rpm and up while your accelerating is amazing and intoxicating. It's light and nimble, honestly its everything I've hoped for and more and I just can't wait to ride it again tomorrow 🤣
@@Voltomess Yeah I did, I'd only been riding for a couple of months back then, so fair call. Conversely, if you reckon an MT03 with 29.5nm of peak torque is high then I've got a super-powerful push bike you might be interested in.
An interesting mini review but I don’t think you really experienced how good the bike actually is. I’ve had my MT03 for about a year after downsizing from a variety of much larger bikes. The power band commences at about 6000 and ends at about 10,000 rpm. Keep the engine singing between these figures and, with the agile handling, your MT03 will easily keep up with any stock MT07 on the twisties. You weren’t “giving it any beans”. After all, the Yamaha R3 (the bike the MT03 is based on), has it’s own race series. Ride it properly and, if you can fit on it, you’ve got one hell of a bike. It’s a very underestimated bike. Just saying.
I completely agree. I was absolutely babying it and I still enjoyed it. Will definitely steal her bike again some time and give it a harder time! Cheers mate and safe riding.
I've ridden both an MT07 and 03. I'm talking measurements, on the 03 I feel like my thighs are absolutely stuffed under the tank (as a 5'8" bloke). My 6ft tall mate had a go and physically can't get his thighs on the tank and has to stick his knees out to the side. Obviously leg length will vary, but for me I wouldn't feel comfortable riding this bike long term. As relative as the overall measurements of the two bikes may be, the geometry is drastically different. With that said, I'd rather ride the 03 than the 07 if I had to chose as the suspension and handling on the 07 is absolute crap compared to just about any other bike in its class. I'll die on that hill.
@9LivesRides Ohhh ok thank you so much for putting more details in to my question. im 5'8 also and what I admire of the mt03 is the price and the fact that it's capable of everything I need my town speed limits go from 25mp to 65mph and I don't speed cause of my CDL and I'm just a weekend type of rider I just Hate how I'm losing sleep on making a decision of the mt03 or mt07 but I'm leaning more to the mt03
Your short shifting that bike man. Wait for the light to flash before shifting and you'll easily find yourself already doing 70 mph in third gear. Fully capable and super sick for me a 5"10 and when I started riding it back october I was 225 lb. I daily this and push it and now I'm riding at 203 and dropping back fast to my ideal buck 85. Be well.
Update. Got six k on the bike and still love it. Have to disagree with 80% what he's got to knock off this. Still floating that 200 mark maybe I'm just a foodie. 😂
@@9LivesRides Your politeness in the face of near hostility on my part (for which I apologise) makes me wonder, why do you swear so much?! It's not clever & it's not cool, regardless of what some people may tell you!

Your commentary is great! Your giggles had me laughing with you! Just grabbed one of these yesterday haven’t rode it yet. I look forward to it though!
Thanks so much mate, this comment has honestly made my day. Hope you enjoy the shit out of the bike! Safe riding
I'm 6ft and it's fine for me. Still in the break In period. Really wanted the harley sportster s
Interesting! If it fits it fits. Safe riding :)
Why did you opted for the mt03 instead of getting the sportster s?
@@flush_entityIm 6'2 and I went with this as well. Same dilemma with the Harley. But Harley is 3x the price...
Can someone explain small? are you meaning cc or the bike cause the mt07 and 03 are pertty much the same LxWxH just off an inch by the width

Hey mate!
would this be too small for someone who is 5"10?
I personally think it would get cramped on longer rides for sure.
