I have been privileged to be using Chery Tiggo 8 Pro for just over a year now, it’s a fantastic car having the smoothest ride, top notch features adaptive cruise control, ADAS, blind sport detector, spacious 7 seater. I have drive Audi A6 before and Cherry’s ride is not less smoother than Audi. Love it!!
The fuel it burns costs another car.. Also the material is so easily broken in crashes. Just put some android auto and nice display and fool easy people like you. You have no ability to drive clearly. most great brands cant even reach bmw / audio way of handling corners and you talk about being it smooth.. Jesus, this is SUV and you are comparing it to A6. Ofc you feel it "smooth1", It's high. That fools you easily. Compare that to BMW X3 , Audi Q5 then talk.
Thank goodness for alternatives like the Tiggo 8, that price makes it more attainable to so many other people than the more "exclusive" brands. I really wish them the best success and may they really shake up our car market. Just need to sort out that fuel consumption, that can definitely be improved.
I love love love your work. Thank you. To the point, and full of fun and humour. On the fuel issue, a difference of R200K can buy a lot of extra fuel to make up for the fuel consumption. Now where is that Chery Hybrid.
Amazing! Just heard that since all sanctions made in Russia and pullout of western brands - Chery has become the best selling car in Russia. Awesome car!
@@julietmcguire The test drive went very well. Lots of love for the brand. Felt solid and we'll put together. The spare wheel size was disappointing. As well as it comes as seven seater only. Can't get a five seater on Pro 8. Only a seven has five seater. Didn't drive long enough to test the claimed fuel consumption vs what the vehicle can actually achieve.
The main concern is definitely the fuel consumption. Apparently the fuel consumption gets better on the new Chery vehicles after the first service and a software upgrade. Not sure why they wait for the service to do a software upgrade.
If we lived in a terrible country then maybe the service plan would be fine. But I don't know anyone who won't travel more than 60000 kms in 5 years , even for folks who retire.
Between 10 and 15 years ago no one would advise you to purchase a Chinese car, only just five years ago they change their recipe and started competing with everyone and stated to offer the same quality of products. One thing it hasn't changed the engine size, most Chinese cars still comes with small 2.0 diesel and 1.6/2.0 petrol. Only if they had an option of at least 5 engines 2 diesel and 3 petrol engines it would be better and one of the petrol/diesel engine being a V6.
@@chrischokoe6485 A bunch of v6 in China! However, there is no production line in foreign countries, and the domestic production capacity is not enough for export.🥹
Geely azkarra vs tiggo8 pro which is better? I like azkarra because it has better interior but tiggo 8 pro has better exterior and more features. Helpppp
Hey just wanna know if the executive has all black interior, I went to another dealership they showed me an executive with all black interior, is there a such thing?
Buying a used 7 seater SUV sround R380k...This.. Isuzu Mux..Ford Everest (wife hates Fortuners). This model will have way less kms at the same price of the Isuzu or Everest..
non-car ppl just buy based on features and I suspect the Chinese have identified this, which is evident with both Haval and now Tiggo. Buying any Chinese vehicles still remains a huge gamble although I have to say, I still admire that 4 Pro, it does look good. We'll just have to wait and see how these cars age.
What's good is that the leading Chinese brands are openly collaborating or even buying tech from established brands. Case in point Geely buying Volvo and sourcing Mitsubishi inline-4 engines from Mitsubishi for its compact sedans (Geely Emgrand). Also Changan, another Chinese brand, collaborates with Mazda to make engines and uses transmissions from Aisin (Toyota). The engine range for the Tiggo 8 was co-developed with an Austrian company, AVL. EV is where China plans to be "original". They already have CATL for batteries. CATL is also where Daimler-AG (Mercedes-benz) buys its batteries.
I recently tested the Tiggo 4 Pro (video coming soon if you'd like to check it out because I really look up to you!) and I was just as impressed. The value for money is just undeniable!
will someone please tell me whats that currency? what does that translate in eur, usd, gbp.. anything? its kinda silly to make reviews in english and expect that no english speaking people will stumble upon your video and wonder about that price you're focusing the video to.

How comfortable is the suspension ?
10.1liter / km . This is not good. Or is it something we can compromise?

Could you compare it to MG Rx5
