  • There is a new version of this video, watch: • ✨ How to: Descale a Ne...
    Descaling a NESPRESSO is quite simple! See the how-to below:
    Buy Nespresso descaler: www.descaler.co.uk/eccellente...
    1) Turn on the machine and remove all capsules and empty the drip tray. Place a large bowl under the coffee outlet, fill the water tank with 500ml water and a bottle of Eccellente descaler for Nespresso.
    Activate the descaling mode by pressing the two buttons at the same time for 3 seconds. The light will start flashing, now press the Lungo button to start. The descaling solution will flow through the machine.
    2) Repeat this by adding the descaling solution in the tank and press the Lungo button.
    3) Empty and rinse the water tank. Refill it with fresh water and press the Lungo button again. The machine will now rinse through.
    Press the two buttons again to exit the descaling mode.

    This is our second K-Classic. We had our first one for many years, so when we had to replace it, we wanted nothing else but this exact th-cam.com/users/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf model. We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.

      Can you add how to reset to factory defaults please? The manual says something totally different. Thanks.
      Restore Factory Settings:
      1- Turn off the power button on the right side of the machine.
      2- Hold the Lungo button while turning on the machine.
      Your Nespresso Citiz® has now been restored to factory default settings

      The Eccellente Descaler for Nespresso (green bottle) is the perfect one. It is a non aggressive way of descaling, thousands of Nespresso owners use that descaler!

    Can vinegar be used?

    • @DescalerUk
      @DescalerUk  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Please never use vinegar! It will harm the boiler of the Nespresso. Vinegar is very aggressive. Always use a lactic acidosis for descaling Nespresso machines

      No, it says not to use vinegar on the Nespresso website as it can damage your machine

    Useful,but why would you re-rinse it again with dirty solution? Why not clean water?

    • @cirurginn
      @cirurginn 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      because it has the descaling solution, you can add clean water but you need to add more descaling solution to it.

    • @DescalerUk

      That might be influenced by the type / sort of the coffee
