Hooray for this video! I've already followed a couple of others of yours but got stuck when you demonstrated the "one you had loosened earlier" part. It really helps seeing you struggle to part the machine. I'm chuffed I had thought of using an old card to help separate and hold the clips out. I cut one up and stuck one in each place I managed to split. I'm a 71 year old grandma and love taking things to bits and putting them together again. Thankyou so much for putting your videos up here.
That thing is a freaking puzzle. Passed first levels fine, but that inner body removal bit was too much. Thank you! Wouldn't manage without your walkthrough.
Thank you man! I just restored my machine thanks to your video! It was clogged like hell and i cleaned the exit nozzle and now it works like a charm! This is what makes youtube great. Again, thank you
Thank you Adrian, I was able to clean up several years of gunk built up successfully. I love this machine and was very disappointed when cleaning the perforated plate with a toothbrush did not solve the problem, but it made it worse. Obviously, it pushed all the fine dust further into the nozzle. Technical support didn't help much and I was very frustrated to find out that the most common problem (build up) is so difficult to solve. In fact, I found that opening this machine up is unnecessarily difficult, as if Breville has intentionally designed it to discourage repairs. The most commonly damaged part (perforated plate) is the least accessible by design - one has to open up the entire machine to get to it - no screws and dozens of tabs that easily break. Thank you once again, you have beautifully explained how to dismantle, service & assemble this machine. You have helped many more like me to prevent global waste by promoting repair.
This is our second K-Classic. We had our first one for many years, so when we had to replace it, we wanted nothing else but this exact th-cam.com/users/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf model. We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.
Thank you so much!! With your help I was able to disassemble and clean my Magimix, which I was ready to replace for a newer one…. And now my Magimix works like a newer one 😊 perfect!
My machine failed after it destroyed a capsule and fragments got stuck inside the machine. I did have a go at taking mine apart as your video makes it look so easy. It was all going well until I tried to take off the round bit under the water tank. I was getting worried about injuring myself with the screwdriver and even you seemed to struggle with that bit. So after removing some fragments I put it back together and hoped I had got them all. However, when I tried with a new capsule that was squashed on all sides. I gave up and took it into my local repair shop. They took it apart, didn't find any more bits, and found that for them it now worked perfectly. I'll try it myself in the morning (with my fingers crossed!). I realise that many people who reply succeed by following your excellent video, but suspect that many who fail do not admit it.
@@benassy69 hello Adrian, i dissembled to clean my machine and assembled it again and i got two problems: 1- it is too loud now and machine moves 2- the coffee is coming down but when i click the button for small size, it is filling more than it used too Any idea what to do??
Hi. 1. Have you inserted the spring and rubber spacer on the pump correctly? 2. Keep the button pressed on the short/long button as long as you want the coffee to be. This is how you set the length of the coffee cup.
Hi Adrian, thanks for this great video!!!! I had serious waterleakage at the front, 80% of coffee came into waterleakage bin so i cleaned everything and with cleaning the tiny micro holes i used with a stick of a wirebrush and now my Nespresso Magimix m105 of 6 years old is not leaking a single drop anymore and its making again perfect coffee. Again thanks !!!!!!!
Man, I can’t believe that worked! I disassembled, cleaned out all the gunk and put it back together and it works without leaks! I couldn’t get the casing back together perfectly but it’s functional and saved me buying a new machine and saved on landfill. Makes you wonder why they can’t just make the compression plate user cleanable?! Obviously so that people just buy a new machine after a couple years. Corporate greed and no respect for our environment. Thanks for your video and your awesome skills
So glad you managed to fix it. 180° turn from your previous comment on which I was about to answer you. And yes, I can agree and the repairability ...corporate greed.
Great video. Thanks. Following your steps I disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled my "water leaking" NX100 that is now perfectly working. The only additional final step I did, not shown in the video, was removing the capsule slot where the seal is hosted with the coil and the small thin water nozzle. This part is easy to remove and a bit delicate to re-assemble. Thanks again.
Fantastic video. I tried to clean mine by myself but I thought I will break something. Your guide show me the points to pry with screwdriver and the correct order. After 3 years of everyday use the machine was pretty bad dirty. Thank you !
Did as you demonstrated and it worked a treat. Thank you. Mind you, for such a routine maintenance you'd think Nespresso Krupp might have made an easy access to the inside of the nozzle and the capsule piercing disc with the micro-holes. This is what they call "built in failure" to encourage replacement purchases after a few years.
Thank you so much, fascinating and saved me a fortune as was about to throw out my Inissia because it was leaking everywhere. Now fixed and spotless, had my best cup of coffee in months. And didn’t even have to ask hubby to help, such a clear video, thank you!!
Hi. Did yours leak clean water or did it leak the coffee? I've got a leak but I'm thinking it is from earlier in the flow as it is completely clear water.
I have used this video many times to watch and know how to fix my machine. Earwigs are super prominent where I am no matter how clean your home is, they get in. And they disgustingly climb up the spout of my machine and "clog" it up. So thank you, instead of buying another twice over, I take it apart and clean it

Very intimidating process but you're video truly gave me much needed courage to take apart, clean then put it back together. Thank you 🙏🏻
Wow, fantastic teardown -- and bonus reassembly! I'm hoping to take one apart to reassemble in a new way. This was amazingly helpful to determine what the full internal guts look like, and whether this is the right model for my little project. Thank you!

I decalcificated mine, two passes, everything Ok, then I proceed to wash the residuals with one pass of clean water… nothing happens! What got broken? I did clean it because I noted this morning that my first pod went to the trash, just a few drops and stopped working, a second pod to see if it reapeats and the pressure was low and the dripping was slow, the stream was thin, I tasted the stream without a pod and it seemed ok, any idea what to look for when disassembling it? T.I.a.

I have to thank you immensely as I got this one as a repair project as it is leaking, I found the area where the leak is and hope it is just a build up of gunk that is causing the problem.

There were 2 questions: how to disassemble without breaking the case and how to remove the capsule tray. Your video helped me out a lot. The coffee machine is working properly, everything is working 👍🏻
Thanks for video. During disassembly an o-ring fall down (8mm diam x 2mm) and I can't understand from whare. Can you help me? (I didn't disconnect pump from upper heating piece so cannot be the o-ring inside)
Im doing this atm, and so far so good. Edit: finished now, but its making a bit more noise than before, but as long as its getting me coffew for another year or so, im quite happy! Thanks for the video! If down to the makers i would have to buy a new one, and it times like these its important to learn how to repair things! Keep the videos coming :)
My machine is leaking clean water when using a pod so I followed this and found it super helpful especially to put it back together! Sadly it’s still leaking, all the pipes were fine and everything’s clean. As it’s only leaking with the pod in I wonder what else I could do? Any ideas very welcome I just can’t afford to replace it right now 😩
Is there a way to stop the leak coming out of the capsule tube where it punctures the capsule from the back. That is where my machine is leaking? It seem to pre leak as the water boils before I insert the capsule to make the coffee.
You have removed the round rubber from the area where the capsule fits. Or have you exchanged it for a new one? I do not understand the language, I have only seen the dio without understanding what you were saying. Thank you very much in advance
Thank you for this great video. My inissia is leaking water from the bottom when a capsule is in. It doesn’t happen without a capsule when I test it, or when I use the descale mode. Do you think a clogged nozzle assembly and piercing plate is the problem?
Adrian, would you mind to help me with assembly? When you assemble inner plastic (right side) it just jumps on and clips, and mine is not. It clips on top and behind, but front refuses to clip and leaves 5mm gap no matter how much pressure I apply.
Hello Alex. I had the same issue when I first disassembled one of this units. I remember getting extremely frustrated. First of all you have to kame sure the handle parts where the screws are fitted on on the right place. Then be sure to glide the plastic part on the rails and fit the holes. It is extremely complicated to explain this procedure. Just pay attention when inserting it. Good luck
You're awesome! My coffee was tasting sower and my machine was dumping water from underneath from how clogged it was. Referencing this video really helped me not destroy my machine too😅
Thanks for this tutorial. I managed to repair a leaking machiene, it was a broken O-ring at the bottom of the heating chamber. It has those strange metal retaining clips. These clips don't need to be removed or bended out of shape (like I've seen on another video). With a verry small flathead screwdriver you can slip the clips legs over the edge of the solid metal tube, one by one (it's a bit tricky).
Amazing! Thank you so much for this vid, I took it apart like this and had to go even further to replace an o ring which was the source of my leak. ;.)
Hi Adrin, my machine is leaking where the capsules are installed now I know why. The slide is not closing fully to make a seal on the pod as I couldn't get the side pannel off as the handle lugs are not parralel with the slots on both side pannels. Great vid Adrian big help for me.
Mine is like that: I found you have to really push the moving bit in against a a very strong spring to get the handles to line up with the cut-outs in the panels. It was obviously designed to be quick to assemble but not to take apart.
Hi, I demontaged my machine following your instructions and its all clean now! But when I turn it on the two lights are blinking fast. What can I do about that? Because now its not working...

It seem to pre leak as the water boils before I insert the capsule to make the coffee.
do you have a video showing the inside mechanism, electronic and where to buy replacements?
No. But I intend to do one
You have removed the round rubber from the area where the capsule fits. Or have you exchanged it for a new one? I do not understand the language, I have only seen the dio without understanding what you were saying. Thank you very much in advance
Your video is the best
Thank you a lot! Your help has been very fruitful
Cheers, always good to see what your up against before you open it.
Is like brand new :)
Thank you, brilliant video was so helpful in cleaning my machine!
Thank you for this great video. My inissia is leaking water from the bottom when a capsule is in. It doesn’t happen without a capsule when I test it, or when I use the descale mode. Do you think a clogged nozzle assembly and piercing plate is the problem?
Thx dude !!! Me he ahorrado tener que comprarme una maquina nueva. Saludos desde España
Referencing this video really helped me not destroy my machine too😅
Podpowiedz, jak odblokować dźwignie? Nie da się dać tej dźwigni do góry żeby wysunąć szufladę na kapsułki...
Thanks for this tutorial. I managed to repair a leaking machiene, it was a broken O-ring at the bottom of the heating chamber. It has those strange metal retaining clips.
These clips don't need to be removed or bended out of shape (like I've seen on another video).
With a verry small flathead screwdriver you can slip the clips legs over the edge of the solid metal tube, one by one (it's a bit tricky).
great tutorial! I followed it step by step and cleaned out the unit. Thank you!!
thanks! very detail disassemble video. could you please help me check if Inissia has the same type of pump with other models such as C50/D50?
Prime video. Very insightful. Thanks.
Good vídeo, I have the same one and I have disassembled it and I have assembled it the same as you did and it has turned out well. 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Good job!
This video saved us. Thank you
Thank you. I found why mine is not working. The main chipboard is fried. Do you know where to buy one please?
Best way to get one is from a second-hand unit of ebay
Very good repair instructions.
Amazing! Thank you so much for this vid, I took it apart like this and had to go even further to replace an o ring which was the source of my leak. ;.)
How did you locate where the O-ring was and what size was it do you know? :)
Thx, mate "you" and me ofc save my caffee machine!
It was obviously designed to be quick to assemble but not to take apart.
thanks a lot. very clear and complete. you saved my life :-)

Hi, I demontaged my machine following your instructions and its all clean now!
But when I turn it on the two lights are blinking fast. What can I do about that? Because now its not working...
Well done. I would be happy if you would explain about the pump and the heating unit of the water.
