Long ago I stopped seeing it as anxiety and saw it more as self induced psychosomatic symptoms. It takes the fight out of it. It’s about changing your interpretation of your symptoms, not reducing your anxiety to make the symptoms go away. I overcame this. It can be done.
So much REAL information here. The way Michelle describes ways to do nothing makes so much sense! You really have to do nothing!! Please just go about your normal life and do nothing don’t fight it don’t overthink it let it be even when it comes back!
@@melissaquintero7201 pretty much. I’d say about 90%. In such a short period of time. My biggest symptoms were wild intrusive thoughts and body shakes blurred vision. Felt very real. I just let it come and did nothing about it just accepted it and started to live my life again little by little thoughts diminished still have some anxious moments but I dnt over think it nor play into the fear. If you need more advise let me know. It’s not easy but it works. I didn’t want to take meds and I didn’t.
@@281skunk yes I will like to get all the advise I can and just like you I don’t want to take meds either. Maybe we can connect or message? If it’s ok with you ? I will really appreciate any advice I can get. In how long would you say you seen improvements?

@@byebyepanic Yeah man i think in future this will become a big problem, so its great that the REAL information come out to people and the ones who started and are on the movement. :)
Love how she says she would love to see this in schools ! Yes I been saying that how many of us may have changed are ways sooner if we only had insight that this could turn into so much, also love how Shaan say how the anxiety word get used in so many ways and how she talks on how when she was young they waited 6 to 8 weeks for the pencil ✏️ so true the worlds moves so fast the work it’s self has anxiety cause the way it got
Yes a truth is a universal truth. It can’t be changed because it’s the truth. That’s why Claire Weeks and you both and now I have come to learn the concept of acceptance 😊❤
Really great to see two of my favorites talking together about this. First I read DARE (by Barry McDonagh), then I discovered Shaan, while watching some of Barry's (and Michelle's) videos. Different mnemonics, slightly different emphasis and ways of saying things, but I don't really see any huge difference. Seems like the same basic approach of accepting the unpleasant symptoms, not trying to fix them, and instead getting on with one's life.
Yep! I’ve actually watched Shaan for a while now, but recently heard more about DARE. It’s really cool to see both resources have the same approach, just with different angles of that approach!

How did you guys manage to get to acceptance? I struggle with agoraphobia since 6 years and just learned how to run away or fight symptoms. Now i am trying to face and accept but its so new and hard. So like do you guys train acceptance by talking to yourself in your head like:" My heart is racing, so i let it race its just adrenaline."?
This is one of the most smartest man and kindest this guy cured himself of anxiety and now he’s out here to cure all of us…God sent angel

This hits the nail right on the head. My "problem" came from trying SO hard to "get rid of" of or not feeling anxiety.

It should be REQUIRED teaching in schools. Even elementary school. Had I been taught this in school, I would have saved myself so much grief in life!
Shaan is a pioneer as well. Thank you Shaan. You got me out of hell. I still have anxiety but it’s a journey and I’m not timing it.
how are you now

Michelle is superb..!! Her approach is simple but brilliant
Agreed!
SHE SAYS HELPFUL THINGS. I HAVE FOUND WHAT HE SAYS IS NOT SPECIFIC BUT SHE IS, HE EVEN SAYS THE WAY MICHELLE EXPLAINS THINGS IS GREAT.
This explains pretty much everything you need to know

Great stuff!
This made much more sense instead of focusing on letting it be I need to actually just let it be 😂😂
Does this actually work? I know recovery isn’t the goal but I would like to recover.
I remember all these you tube gurus saying to be in the present moment which was a form of distraction and never worked.
