Hey, good stuff. At first I thought it was going to be Mega Man. Pretty funny ny seeing a Mario style game when playing it. Good work! Actually, this device runs Dingoo software so I think all games and apps made for Dingux will run on it. The emulators are all Dingoo files.

4:29 I'm very sure that's just a re-skin of the old "EaseUS Partition Master Free Edition" (before it became a fully paid software), as the interface appears to be the same, but flatter (ugh), and opens similar advertising junk. Yes, you can replace the internal memory. On this video I replace the 4gb micro SD card with a larger card. I don't know the size limit but 32gb should be fine.

Very odd that your final Burn Alpha roms aren't loading. I downloaded mine from this French site - www.gametronik.com/site/emulation/FBA/ You don't need to unzip the files.
@@RetroCore That's what I thought initially, but this one has same appearance (transparent grey) plus an analogue style controller on bottom left and removed useless cartridge slot and a few other things. Not sure if it's still prototype? video I saw it was.
Hello Retro Core. I have another question. I just got my RS-97 and am ready to start preparing the SD Card with the new firmware. You show us how to install OpenDingux with Wun32DiskImager on the SD card but how can I install other software like the newer patches and overclock software? Thanks in advance for your help.
I beveled the new software is just a drag and drop solution now. I've nit tried it but I beleive you drag the data on to the SD card then install it using the consoles file manager. Kind of how you install new software on a PC.
Soulja handheld i cant find a google search result page to detail the layout for our SD card. like how to name our folders and where to put certain files. oh - can it play videos? mine cannot although there's a file called Greenlight.mp4 in a folder called "video"
Thanks for the video. I have a question: Is it possible to return the original memory card and receive the original system after the process, or does the process change system files on the device itself, and requires reprogramming of the device?
It's 100% to return to the original system if you make a back up of the SD card that came with it. I've not done this myself but did read somewhere about it. A great place to check would be boards.dingoonity.org/
If you still have the original sd card it will just run off that sd card and what's on it. In other words, there's no operating system in the console itself, everything that makes it work and run is from the sd card you put in,so you can have multiple sd cards with different firmware and they'll run what's on the card.
i think that would involve some soldering work, small components and PCB modifications. By that i mean replace the rubber buttons to clicky micro stwiches. It is possible, but it's not as much doable for some cheap clone of GBA emulator. You can do it, but the results may vary.
I had one on order but it seems to have been lost in the post or more likely the Chinese company it came from didn't post it as the tracking number never worked. I'm not sure it can be modded. I've not looked in to the system much.
Have to thank you again. Got almost everything running and read the dingoonity forum pages up to page 68 now. I am impressed by the hard work you did on the CFW! Still have two noob questions: I found out how to use the command app, but can’t move/or copy files and folders (i highlighted them pressing select and by press x i could choose the options copy/move, but by pressing a nothing happens (what am i doing wrong)? Second thing is, i would like to make a german review video for the device, am i allowed to link your video in the comments section (all potential buyers should know about your project, i think)?
Ah, the command app is something I never bothered with. I also couldn't figure out how to work it. I just did everything though the PC. Connecting the RS-97 to the PC via the USB was much easier to do when it came to organising the folders and adding files. Sure, you can link to my video in your German review. I'd be very happy for that.
Hmm, I wouldn't say it could replace your PSP but it is cheap at 50 USD or less and it does work pretty well as shown in this video. I'm not clued up on PSP emulation but I can tell you that there's a lot of emulation for this device. The next hacked firmware is going to include 20 odd emulators!
I was looking at this too, because I collect these typs of hand helds, but I would say stick with the PSP. First off, these are around $50 (lowest I saw on eBay was $52 from China), and you can easily get a psp for that. Of course, it would be used (and you already have one), but good deals are out there. I recently got a PSP 3001 in practically new condition (and already modded) for $45. Considering you have to also do firmware modding for this, which looks a bit more complex than modding a PSP, and you are going to get hit and miss performance with PSX games (for example), the PSP seems far superior IMO. They are, after all, virtually the same sized consoles, but I think the PSP's are better built. I use a 128gb sd card on my psp and every retro console emulator works beautifully, save for the n64. In addition, I don't know if you can run SCUMMvm on this one, but on PSP you can. There's a lot of great old PC adventure games like Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion you can play.
The PSP screen is better and it can also play PSP games perfectly as well as natively emulate PS1 games. I heard that the RS-97 does run some Nintendo emulators better, though.
I no longer have this system or done anything related to it. Please check the links in the discription or visit a Dingoo related forum. There you can find out about emulators for this device.
Does the CPS 1 & 2 /Neo Geo roms need to be in final burn folder? Does it need bios files to run? I tried to link the path from rom folder and the Final burn screen was stuck.
I really couldn't tell you. Check out my latest video where I cover the update of this console. In that video discription you'll find a link to a forum which can help. Or alternatively Google Dingoo forum RS-97.
thanks for the video, i've always enjoyed your "chinese knock offs" series! i've my eye on the rs-97 for a while now. i wonder if there's any work being done so that the cartridge slot can read actual gba cartridges?
Great tutorial! I got mine working but I can't seem to locate the roms. when I hook it up to my computer it only shows 2 files and can't seem to access the folders shown on my console. Placed the roms both in the internal and external sd cards but I just can't locate the game inside the console! please help!
Okay I managed to figure out where it is I think I'm good for now. Still testing other emulators so far I am disappointed with the snes emulator. Castlevania seems to run slow compared to the default emulator. I was excited because I wanted to play snes games since I never owned one as a kid. Started in the Ps1 era lol The Gameboy emulator fixes the scrolling problem i encountered and the gba emulator fixes the synching and sound problems :)
There's a new patch coming soon that will feature all new emulators including a much improved SNES emulator. It's best to keep checking the resource site I linked to in the video discription.
Hello again Retro Core. I've been trying to get ROMs to play on the FBA emulators in this upgraded firmware but have had no luck. They are in .zip format (Neo Geo and CPS1 ROMS) just like I would do on my PC. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
What did you end up doing to mod the dpad? I saw there was a mod for it but you needed to a RS90 and I did not want to buy another console just to destroy it for the dpad.
I didn't bother in the end and just sold the console. I don't really do portable gaming since I spend all of my time on the train replying to mails or messages ☺️
All the files you need are in the discription. I can't make an image of my card since I no longer own the console. I have to sell everything to make money to buy the next item. I get no free review hardware from manufacturers for this channel 😥. But on the bright side I'm not under any obligation to say something is great when it's not. 👍
So yeah, didn't end up working for me. I've tried several times to write the image to a 32GB card and it always finishes successfully but the partition manager just sees one big raw partition. I know the card was good because I had it installed on my Raspberry Pi and it worked fine there.
I got a bit lost along the video but... Were do you get all of the emulators from? Reason I ask is because the download link (s) seem to be missing a lot of the emulators like megadrive, nes, and super famicom. Really glad you put this up tho, as I could not find a more in depth installation video out there.
Obviously someone ported Dingux (that's a Linux port originally done for the Dingoo, an old handheld emulation device, to substitute the original Dingoo OS) to this system. So you can use emulators for Dingux (taking advantage of the emulators available on Linux after recompilation). At least that's what I take from the video. What's interesting is, that they seem to use an SD (MMC ?) card and not a Flash ROM to boot from. Somewhat unusual, but making modding a lot easier and eliminating chances of bricking that thing.
Retro Core ah excellent! Thank you so much! Can't wait till my unit arrives. But before I go, is the Retromini worth it if I'm getting one of these? I just love that Gameboy shape / form factor.
Awesome. Mark can mod devices as well. Maybe one day I can send in my Neo-Geo units for Mark to work on. I feel he can do an excellent job. 8^) Anthony..
It only allows up to a 32gb micro sd card. But after the CFW is installed and the partition expands at initial startup, you get 28gb of storage to put on a ton of games. I put on 36 Playstation 1 games, nearly every Snes,Nes,GBA,GBC,GB,GameGear ,Mega Drive, and Master System and still had 2gb free.
For some reason, I can't see anywhere on existing tutorials at what moment we should put the battery back. That step is mysteriously omitted, go figure. Because, in my case, when putting the battery back, I get a non stop flashing battery indicator on the screen with no possibility of switching the console on or off. Plugging it in on the wall doesn't change anything. However, when removing the battery, I can successfully plug the console on the PC and do my thing. Did I miss a crucial step? I did that a bit in a rush, perhaps the solution is simple. Or I simply didn't explore the topic well enough. Also, I didn't watch the video entirely because I did that a bit in a rush (it was for a friend, at his house -- if it was mine, I would have been more careful). Thank you for your understanding. Ah yes... one more thing. Once again, Google is definitely NOT my friend.
Putting the battery back is kind of obviously done once the machine is put back together. That's why nobody mentions it. Your console seems to have an issue though. I've not experienced the flashing LED myself. Do you think your SD card is installed correctly? It may not be fully in the slot. Then again, if you can read data from the card then that may not be the problem.
Thank you for your reply. I'm almost certain I fully inserted the card (I even put back that piece of rubber on top of it, even if not necessary). What my friend did was letting the console discharge itself and see what will happen next. Unfortunately, the following happens: putting the console in charge by plugging it to the wall or a computer triggers the chrage. But unplugging it won't change the console's state! That battery icon will keep flashing!... Well after a while that icon disappeared and the console booted normally. Then I unplugged it and it stayed on. I, then, powered it off then powered it on and bam! The same things happens. It might have trouble to access the content of the internal SD at boot, I don't know. It'a Sandisk 32GB that we used. Other than that, your video was nicely done and instructions were clear enough.
No, I had to sell the RS-97 to fund the next console which will arrive this week. Unfortunately I don't get free stuff like the bigger channels or the sellout channels so I need to sell stuff on all the time. I did hear that snes was almost 60fps now.
I could use some assistance, if anyone knows how. Writing the image to a microsd doesn't seem to install the "ROM" partition as I don't see it in Minitools.
Try this video Mat,it helped me get everything up and running (installing CFW and where the roms and IPK files go) th-cam.com/video/0BkIO7JThis/w-d-xo.html

Is there any mods for Coolbaby Family Pocket or Coolbaby NES Classic clone hdmi?
Can it be possible to run an Mame Emulator such as Mame32 onto the system even after the changes are done ? I am curious because I want to ultimate Mame Handheld device.
Hmm, this device runs Dingoo software so if there's a port of mame on that platform it will run. Be aware that this isn't the most powerful of hardware out there though so many Arcade games will run slow. Final Burn Alpha plays many other games beside Capcom and SNK stuff however a lot of it runs slow.
If it runs Final Burn Alpha, and assuming that my technical understanding of what was actually done during modding is not totally off, you should just be able to use the Mame4All emulator for Dingux on this, which is based upon V0.37b5. No guarantee though.
Has anyone tried this on a mac? I tried it using similar tools to mini tool and win 32 and when i inserted the sd card back into the console nothing loaded. Has anyone else experienced this?
Great Video, thanks👍 But i still have a few questions (want to try it with my retro game), maybe someone could help? 1. Where to put the downloaded patch file? 2. Where to get new emulators (especially nes, GB, GBC, GBA, Mega Drive, Master System and Gamegear?) and how do you add them? 3. Where should i put the roms (file name/directory?) Sorry, if these are silly questions, but i am completely new to dingux...
1. the patch file is in the link 2. Emulators are included in the ptach file but you can get more by searching for a good Dingoo community. Visit the resource link I provided. 3. Any where you want. It doesn't matter as long as you direct the emulators to the rom directory just like on a PC.
Retro Core Thanks, your help is really appreciated! Made it with CFW running, but always get error messages when trying to download from Mega... And i can’t start Neo Geo or CPS1 games, the emulator doesn’t seem to find it... Any suggestions for a good game gear emulator?
Here's a great place to start th-cam.com/video/0BkIO7JThis/w-d-xo.html also more emulators in ipk files bitgala server under PY Menu Firmware (just watch the video and all will be explained...and we've all been newbies at this so don't feel bad)
Ive got the Problem that i Cant get neogeo games to run fba Cant find anything (i Use the preloaded Roms dunno if thats the Problem) can you recommend an emulator that should work cause i Cant really find one
The problem is that you are using roms made for MAME. Best find a final Burn Alpha forum to enquire about the rom format needed. I got my roms from a French site that had a dedicated Final Burn Alpha section. The problem is that I'm on my phone so can't access the link. I did post the link in reply to anther person having the same issue. Have a look through the comments for the link.
How about change it with better one, i think there some great d-pad 3rd party for GBA it say its perform better than original GBA, well we still need look if it can fit in these clone manufacture !
Retro Core I was fixing the ps3 controller for my pstv again, swear to god, it's only held together by the cheap rubber sleeve I got in a £1 store that I "trimmed" so the wireless keyboard fit. Anyway, I took out this 3 legged part that tapered to a point, maybe that could work without digging into the circuitboard. ...I just wonder what that part did...works fine without it...
Hmm, that would be an idea. The problem with the D-pad on the RS-97 is that there is no pivot point so it just feels like a mushy mess. It works but for fighting games it useless.
Anyone have a google drive link with the latest updates? I can only download so much via MEGA until it tells me to start paying because I've reached my data download cap per the site? I just got my device and I'm dying to get this to the latest update. Any sort of help is very appreciated.
I no longer own this device but from what I remember you connect it to your PC and copy Iver the roms to which ever folder you'd like then set up the emulator to find the roms in the folder you placed them in. It's pretty much how you'd set up an emulator on Android.
had the same problem its something todo with a new lcd. Download the new image from mega the one called. opendingux _RS97_v2.1 LCD SCREEN ONLY.img. took me all day to work out
I'm confused this is the one that plays gba cartridges or this is the clone from the gba clone that play cartridges... the design looks the same.. but I know there is 2 products on the market...

I beveled the new software is just a drag and drop solution now. I've nit tried it but I beleive you drag the data on to the SD card then install it using the consoles file manager. Kind of how you install new software on a PC.
Since PCE, PSX and DOS seem to've been added, how about other systems?
Rs-97 wont start.. Green Light has Disappear .. ? What is the Issue ? when connected to charger Red Light Appears but notthing happens
Best to ask on a Dingoo forum.
Soulja handheld
i cant find a google search result page to detail the layout for our SD card.
like how to name our folders and where to put certain files.
oh - can it play videos? mine cannot although there's a file called Greenlight.mp4 in a folder called "video"
Visit a forum dedicated to Dingoo hardware. You should be able to find what you are looking for.
In other words, there's no operating system in the console itself, everything that makes it work and run is from the sd card you put in,so you can have multiple sd cards with different firmware and they'll run what's on the card.
do you think the retro mini has the same type of internals i dont have one but in jknow you do you should check it out @Retro Core
No, the Retro Mini internals are different.
Nice tutorial, really appreciate Sir. :D
No worries. You're welcome.
Same for you, have a great day/afternoon/evening/night Sir! :D
Retro Core Can you make a tutorial on how to upgrade the d-pad for fighting games?
i think that would involve some soldering work, small components and PCB modifications. By that i mean replace the rubber buttons to clicky micro stwiches. It is possible, but it's not as much doable for some cheap clone of GBA emulator. You can do it, but the results may vary.
Can you do a review for the retro mini and can the retro mini software be upgraded to make it better as well?
I had one on order but it seems to have been lost in the post or more likely the Chinese company it came from didn't post it as the tracking number never worked.
I'm not sure it can be modded. I've not looked in to the system much.
Have to thank you again. Got almost everything running and read the dingoonity forum pages up to page 68 now. I am impressed by the hard work you did on the CFW!
Still have two noob questions:
I found out how to use the command app, but can’t move/or copy files and folders (i highlighted them pressing select and by press x i could choose the options copy/move, but by pressing a nothing happens (what am i doing wrong)?
Second thing is, i would like to make a german review video for the device, am i allowed to link your video in the comments section (all potential buyers should know about your project, i think)?
Ah, the command app is something I never bothered with. I also couldn't figure out how to work it. I just did everything though the PC. Connecting the RS-97 to the PC via the USB was much easier to do when it came to organising the folders and adding files.
Sure, you can link to my video in your German review. I'd be very happy for that.
Thanks for the response. Interesting, because i can’t see all the directories via PC...
Much better! So... Would you say these are worth picking up knowing that I already have a emu-capable PSP?
Alec J both are junk.
Nothing wrong with Area 88's arcade music :P awesome video mate :)
Hehe, Final Fight is another I could add to the list. Not the Mega CD version though, that's sublime.
Hey i got my hand on one but when i installed the firmware, no emulators showed up, where can i get them. Also i installed it on the tf card
They can be anywhere but you need to Configure the rom path within final Burn. You do not need any bios files.
I'm tempted on buying this little machine. Is it capable of playing on 60fps or the screen is a bottleneck for that refresh rate?
It depends upon the emulator. Playing Mega Drive on it felt perfect.
I also saw on another review that the shoulder buttons are lame af... Can they be THAT bad? Maybe the rubber membranes can be replaced
The shoulder buttons aren't great but they are usable.
I just got this and says that my system version is 3.0, will this tutorial work on it?
I really couldn't tell you. Check out my latest video where I cover the update of this console. In that video discription you'll find a link to a forum which can help. Or alternatively Google Dingoo forum RS-97.
thanks for the video, i've always enjoyed your "chinese knock offs" series! i've my eye on the rs-97 for a while now. i wonder if there's any work being done so that the cartridge slot can read actual gba cartridges?
Thanks, kerblam. I don't think the machine has the hardware to read GBA carts.
makes sense. since it's not a hardware clone...
Started in the Ps1 era lol
The Gameboy emulator fixes the scrolling problem i encountered and the gba emulator fixes the synching and sound problems :)
Thanks.
I'd like to help but I don't know. I no longer have this device. I suggest asking on the Dingoo forums.
What did you end up doing to mod the dpad? I saw there was a mod for it but you needed to a RS90 and I did not want to buy another console just to destroy it for the dpad.
I didn't bother in the end and just sold the console. I don't really do portable gaming since I spend all of my time on the train replying to mails or messages ☺️
a link to your modified .img file would be awesome. Any chance of that happening?
All the files you need are in the discription. I can't make an image of my card since I no longer own the console. I have to sell everything to make money to buy the next item. I get no free review hardware from manufacturers for this channel 😥. But on the bright side I'm not under any obligation to say something is great when it's not. 👍
I don't understand... where do I put the files I downloaded on MEGA and when??
This thing is identical to the revo k101, i wonder if the firmware of that one is compatible?!
The machine shell is the same but the hardware is different.
I was kind of excited, i want a revo but i'm unwilling to pay 100 usd for something i won't use :(
So yeah, didn't end up working for me. I've tried several times to write the image to a 32GB card and it always finishes successfully but the partition manager just sees one big raw partition. I know the card was good because I had it installed on my Raspberry Pi and it worked fine there.
That's a shame. I don't know why it's not working for you. Maybe try a smaller card?
i will try this, looks awesome, also theres a better option i think the PSP with the analogs is the best retroconsole nowadays
It plays Harvest Moon SNES, perfectly?
No idea. It probably plays it just as well as Snes9X does on the PC since the SNES emulator for this device is based upon Snes9X.
look forward to the dpad mod
Hey! Nice Tutorial, did you try to play Pokemon Esmerald? I'm really sad that I cannot play it, maybe with this update it works
Sadly I did not try any Pokemon games.
Hi Retro Core!
Will this work with the RetroMini?
Is there anyway to make games like Golden Sun faster? That game is so laggy :/
I'm not sure. It may do since both use the Dingoo OS however I'm not really in to the hacking scene so I'm not sure. Best to check on a Dingoo forum.
Does the connection cable work on it now?
Great music, I love Asuka 120%
It's a great game. I love it on the Saturn.
Hi! Can I mod my Retro Arcade (the device with 2 wired controllers and almost the same original firmware) with this software? Will it work?
I wouldn't know. Best to ask on a Dingoo forum.
How do I exit snes emulator? Also is there a PC Engine emulator in this pack? I couldn’t find it
Sorry, I dont remember. I've long since sold this device.
I have the knwn white screen troubble with my v2. console and the links are broken, can someone bring a link? cheers
Frank Schneider hey thanks for the reply! I'll try and do more research on those emulators!
Most of the emulators are inbedded in to the firmware file. The emulation folder in the links are just extras.
Anthony..
Oh man, I wouldn't trust me with that. I've still got my own AES to fix.
May i know where & how to set the boot images ? thanks
Sorry, I'm no longer following this system. Try at the Dingoo forums in the video description links.
Do you know how to quit to the main menu, that works for all programs?
It's different depending on the emulator.
how to explode disssembly rs-97 ???
I wonder if this device can handle a 64gb or a 128gb sd card?? Has anyone ever tried before?
Other than that, your video was nicely done and instructions were clear enough.
excellent tutorial. has anyone tried the 1.2 software update? i want to know if there is any improvement on the emulation side?
snes Emulation is meant to be greatly improved.
have you tried it?
No, I had to sell the RS-97 to fund the next console which will arrive this week. Unfortunately I don't get free stuff like the bigger channels or the sellout channels so I need to sell stuff on all the time. I did hear that snes was almost 60fps now.
Retro Core cheers
Is the google drive link not working for anyone else? Trying to figure out how to download the patch
This is old news now. Best to check out the Dingoo forums for new links.
Will I be able to perform this upgrade with a Macbook Pro?
Sorry, I have no idea. If you run virtual Windows you will be able to for sure. The problem comes from the software needed being Windows format.
Maybe but I'm not aware of them.
I think it shod work. Everything I've installed on it was originally made for Dingux.
Another great video mate :D
Thanks, Njp2K9
Well I just got a whole lot more interested if this is running Dingux.
Has anyone tried this on a mac? I tried it using similar tools to mini tool and win 32 and when i inserted the sd card back into the console nothing loaded. Has anyone else experienced this?
Hi man can u please help me to get the emulators in a grid view on the system instead of a list view, if that makes sense
Sorry, I no longer own this system. I dont really remember too much about it.
@@RetroCore OK cool thank you
Great Video, thanks👍
But i still have a few questions (want to try it with my retro game), maybe someone could help?
1. Where to put the downloaded patch file?
2. Where to get new emulators (especially nes, GB, GBC, GBA, Mega Drive, Master System and Gamegear?) and how do you add them?
3. Where should i put the roms (file name/directory?)
Sorry, if these are silly questions, but i am completely new to dingux...
1. the patch file is in the link
Pico Drive will run game gear and Mega CD too.
Here's a great place to start th-cam.com/video/0BkIO7JThis/w-d-xo.html also more emulators in ipk files bitgala server under PY Menu Firmware (just watch the video and all will be explained...and we've all been newbies at this so don't feel bad)
dose the famicom work fine with the updated
To me it seemed to work really well.
Could you do an update on the newer firmware?
Sorry, I no longer own this console.
Retro Core i just downloaded a Rom in zip Format and it seems to work fine But thanks for the Quick awnser :3
Is there an emulator for PC Engine CD? Not sure if Hugo supports CD games.
Yep, the emulator I used for PC Engine in this video runs the CD games.
was there a way to make the d pad feel better?
How about change it with better one, i think there some great d-pad 3rd party for GBA it say its perform better than original GBA, well we still need look if it can fit in these clone manufacture !
dylbob9000 maybe take the board out and put something under the center of the dpad so it didn't push in.you'd have to be very careful usingit though
I'm thinking to make the pivot point in the center of the D-Pad a little higher. I've not found a good solution just yet though.
Can I use 8gb class 10 micro sd card? What is the advance of using much higher capacity sd card?
Yes you can. Using a high card gives you more space for roms. Up to 32gb should be fine.
Nice tutorial. Thanks! I will try it.
Good luck! It's a fairly easy mod.
@RetroCore I'll try "Oldboy Low-res skin for gmenu2x".It looks amazing!
Can I use the
Roms that are already on it when I update to the new firmware
Only if you back them up. When you update the firmware the whole system is wiped.
@@RetroCore thank you.
Of course, just copy the roms to your desktop and just copy/paste them back into the new CFW roms folder
I want to buy a cheap handheld for emulation. Which is the best? Max 50 dollars. Thanks.
This one right here is where it's at. Easily the best at the moment for under 50 USD
Any handheld that plays psp games?
i installed opendingux , so how can i copy roms and play games ?
I no longer own this device but from what I remember you connect it to your PC and copy Iver the roms to which ever folder you'd like then set up the emulator to find the roms in the folder you placed them in. It's pretty much how you'd set up an emulator on Android.
Hi My machine wont boot at all all i get is a blank white screen, any help ?
My not sure. Best to enquire on the Dingoo RS-97 forums.
Here is he link to a thread about the RS-97
boards.dingoonity.org/ingenic-jz4760-devices/release-demu-for-pap-kiii-plus-(k3p)-and-rs97/
I've got the same issue
had the same problem its something todo with a new lcd. Download the new image from mega the one called. opendingux _RS97_v2.1 LCD SCREEN ONLY.img. took me all day to work out
Hello can we put the system recalbox or retro pie on the map sd?
Sorry, I dont know.
Retro Core thanks
Retro Core you put the games in the SD card GBA cartridge?
Yeah, you should be able to do that. Just direct the emulators to load roms from a directory on the external SD card rather than the internal SD card.
will it be able to take a 32Gb micro SD card?
Yes, 32gb shouldn't be an issue.
Yup, 32gb sd card is the max though.
Why do half the people I know in japan have purple taskbars and themes on their computers...
gba games looked like they were running fine btw
hehe, I just like purple :) Good to know the GBA was running at the correct speed.
Can I mod from a phone as don't have a computer
Sorry, no. A PC is needed.
I'm confused this is the one that plays gba cartridges or this is the clone from the gba clone that play cartridges... the design looks the same.. but I know there is 2 products on the market...
This is using the same hardware shell as the machine which plays GBA games. This actual device can't play GBA games.
dpad really not good enough for fighting games?
Nope it's awful. Some sort of mod is needed.
