i want to know Eren Kruger's story so bad, between the time his family getting torched, till he became a soldier for Marley, right up until he tossed his hat off like an absolute G and transformed into the attack titan... that would also be an amazing story, because his character was built up so much in 2 episodes

That line "A king who can't protect his people is no king" still gives me goosebumps. Such a powerful and epic line. Kingship is not a right to be inherited but a mandate between a ruler and his people.

これは原作にはないアニメオリジナルだったようですね。
ちなみに2x5でヒストリアが塔から落ちそうになった時、ライナーがヒストリアの足を掴んで硬直していたけど、あれって偶然、座標にアクセスでき、何か見えていたのかな？ ユミルが「あの巨人」だった事を知り、３人でパラディ島に来た昔の記憶を思い出してただけ？とか、ヒストリアのパンツが見えてたとかもあるけど。
This is one of the best parts of the AoT experience. Whenever you think back to previous scenes, or specific lines of dialogue, you suddenly get with a bunch of crazy "EUREKA" moments. Like "Oooooooh, so THAT'S what that means??!?" So good.

Imagine how Mikasa felt, hearing two of the most important people in her life are casually talking about how much time left do they have; poor girl.
Seriously… she’s even in denial saying “this can’t be true” my guess is even stopped eating and became lethargic, couldn’t even see Eren on the other side of that wall for days, oof.
After losing her original family, then her adoptive family, and now she learns that she will lose the rest of her family as well. :(

@@theoriginalfluff5317 Remember what Eren said though... "we had plenty to eat"... what did Mikasa do with her food? Knowing Mikasa, she refused the food and let them give it to Eren while he was asleep, so he did not know she was not eating.
Yeah this is the good shit in AoT, when you start piecing things together and you randomly think back to an earlier moment and suddenly it hits you that it makes complete sense now.
In the Manga it was when Historia read Ymirs letter her back storie was shown the first time. At that very moment you could fully understand where Ymir grows up, why they gave her that name, that this was a cult and what happened to her when she was turned into a titan.
The paths/coordinate is such a cool concept, not to mention Historia being able to see Ymir’s past. Excited for the season 4 drops, IMO the best season

The 13 years thing only applies to the 9 Titans (Colossal, Armored, Female, Attack, and so on). Remember, as a Pure Titan, Ymir was wandering outside the walls for around 60 years. And by the way, Uri isn't the first king that fled to the walls. We saw his and Rod's father before them was the Founding Titan. And since they only have a 13 years lifespan, Uri would've been the 6th or 7th Founding Titan at that point. Also, since only Eldian can turn into Titans, that means Reiner, Bertolt, Annie & Marcel are all Eldian as well. The way Reiner called the people of Paradis Island as "the race of devils" shows how deep the brainwashing that Marley is doing to the Eldian living in the internment camps over there at the mainland. They were being racist towards their own race.

the King is in a bind too. its either become the monsters and start the great titan war again or leave and hide out on an island to save his people... steal their memories, build a wall and never fight again. i get it. king fritz did not want to fight and his way was the only way he could save his people in his eyes. the passing down the ideology is significant in those purple eyes that is seen with yuri then Freeda.. such a great story

I was confused as shit when I first saw this and I took me many years later in season 4 to put the puzzle pieces together, yet this guy is doing it before even getting the pieces. Incredible

Name of the anime in japanese is Shingeki No Kyojin . If you translate that title in other language it can mean a lot of thing cause japanese words or sentence have a lot of different term and meaning. In English they call the show Attack on Titan and the French version is call L’Attaque des Titans which mean Attack of the Titans. From this perspective Shingeki No Kyojin can also means…The Attack Titan.
Since the beginning, the title meaning was actually the Titan that Eren possess…The Attack Titan.

Grisha falou a mesma coisa que o Eren Kruger sobre salvar o Armin e a Mikasa(1x9).
Ymir wrote the letter using her blood. That's why historia was able to see her memories when she touched her blood.
And I think the reason people kept saying eren was "going thru a phase" is because the military was already planning on having eren make babies with historia to keep the titan power within Paradis. I think they were going to make their children consume eren's spinal fluid once his time was up. And they thought that eren was acting weird was because he was happy to sleep with historia. If you pay attention, it actually seems like historia was already in on this situation too. I think it was a proposal brought off screen since it's not THAT important to the current story arc. I think the author wanted you to figure it out yourself, but keep the pace of the story moving forward.

I'll say in aot there are some phrases you should burn into your minds...
One of them is "keep moving forward".
Also makes sense why uri looked so old before he died and why reiss had so many kids...its a 13 year cycle.
Finally we know the answer to "what is the enemy".... from the books greisha wrote and erens memories...its quite clear...its the entire world (could be wrong though cos we've only seen one other place)
The memories are not influenced by erens thoughts. They are how they actually happened, set in stone in the past. The Owl said to save Mikasa and Armin.

having just watched the season finale of the lastest demon slayer, y'all are in for such good content!!!
In season 2, I think episode 9, when Reiner and Ber have Eren kidnapped and are talking above the trees, Reiner tells Bertholdt not to think about it anymore and tell Annie his feelings when they rescue her because: "we don't have much time to live".
That was one of the times, the author was giving us clues about the 13-year rule. And this responds (until a certain point) to why Grisha didnt continue himself with the mission.

It's also quite a funny coincidence that the attack titan which has always longed for freedom ended up with eren who has always longed for freedom
The way I understood it is since the attack titan has memories of the future and titan shifters personalities are affected by their memories, the attack titan longs for freedom because Eren desire for freedom was so strong it was transmitted to all previous users

Yes, a channel someone creates is for expressing themselves, but by the same token they should expect constructive criticism or other viewpoints that contribute to a well-rounded understanding of the show. I think many of us were "wrong" the way we reacted to the "warriors" in the first 3 seasons because we didn't know "their" stories (yet). I know I was one who jumped the gun with them, and now... Ha ha ha... well, those who are caught up with the series know to what I refer. And I thought Aizen from Bleach was one of the most diabolical characters in Anime! 👀👀
Just a small tip: Yes I know this show gives you guys org*sm with its incredible story-telling, just don't look away too often when it does, you will miss very important information in an instant.
