You can easily get Regidrago and Regieleki with just one copy of the game and DLC. You just need Home downloaded (not even necessarily paid for). All you have to do is make a second profile on your Switch then go through the game enough to visit the train station. Go back deal with the Slowpoke go to Crown Tundra lose to Peony and progress the DLC story from there. No badges needed.
Ive wanted to catch all the Pokemon in a legit way for a couple of years, but it’s too expensive even after the fact that I can trade. But I’m attempting to catch them all in card form for now in Pocket Pokemon which seems pretty fair for f2p at the pace I’m going and the next sets. Once I do catch them all in card form, in the future I feel like there will be an easier way to catch them all in game form, in which then I’ll bite the bait and go for it. For now I’m glad to see people who have spent years catching up to getting all of them, Congrats!

If those pesky mythicals were more readily available this wouldn't be such a gargantuan task. I missed out on every mythical from the 3ds era and swsh. Blegh :(
I have every form of every gender of every Pokémon (not shiny). I call it the Ark Dex. There were a few that I cheated on, such as the Furfrou forms, Zarude and Dada Zarude, and the forms of forms of Alcremie. But other than those, I caught them all. I am not the OT on all of them though (and I don't care because I change my name on every game). The only one I'm missing is the female Terapagos, which hasn't been related yet. But it's in the code, so I assume they'll bring it back.
Amazing journey! You didn't mention the journey of getting Iron leaves or Walking Wake, I'm curious how you did that! I would love to go on this journey myself but the mythicals locked behind a DS with pokemon transporter/bank is stopping me unfortunately because even buying a DSI you have to hack it to get it, all the rest I'm good trading for. Sad this journey can't be feasibly started today
I did the Walking Wake and Iron Leaves tera raid with a friend when they re-released it in January. It's a limited time event that comes and goes. I didn't record it so I kinda offhand mentioned it in the video. If you decide that you want to get the older Pokemon I would recommend getting a used 3DS since it can also play regular DS games, and then doing the homebrew yourself. I did the "hacking" stuff for a friend as a gift last year and with online tutorials it only took me a few hours. You can download all of the apps you need for free as well.
I have multiple of every event Legendary/mythical distributed through the internet by getting it and starting over in my alternate copy of that generation (starting over x with my main on y shield with main on sword ect) I know I have a problem I just refuse to to deal with in because well I like having multiples also if I come across someone who needs one & I feel up to it I will give it to them.

You have to download a bunch of files on your computer and move it onto the SD card. It's a lot to explain so I recommend searching up "homebrew tutorials" for the 3ds. The app you probably want is called PKSM for the events.
Personally I transferred one from Pokemon Y to home for the living dex. But in Diamond I just had to wait until it showed up as the daily to finish that game's dex.

Then between all the games I randomly encountered shiny Lechonk, Diglett, Exeggutor, Mareep, Clodsire, and yesterday a Blissey. There's probably some more that I can't remember as well lol

That was a bit of a joke, I pretty much picked whichever one had the highest base power and spammed it. But for Blaziken I would have a fighting type move of course. It's not that I had no knowledge of the games, I just didn't take it that seriously when I was younger. I feel like most people would want to keep their event Pokemon, the reason Genesect and Meloetta were erased was because my brother got mad at me once and deleted my Pokemon Y save which had them on there. I was in the process of moving all my other mythicals to Omega Ruby so that's why I still have most of them. If I still had the event cards of the mythicals on Heart Gold I would show them to you but I've since restarted my save on that game after moving everything.

I did the same thing with gen 6 lol. I have a few Shiny Rayquazas with the Galileo OT and gave some to a couple friends.

how did you force the 3ds zeraora mystery gift? im fine with hacking but I need it.
I recommend looking up 3ds homebrew tutorials then downloading the PKSM app. That's what allows you to inject events onto your saves.

Pichu wasn't introduced until Gen 2 at #172, so numerically it wouldn't show up until you scroll down a bit more.
