I lost my living dex just after getting all of the 20th anniversary gift pokemon. I didn’t play for I don’t even know how long because I was so heart broken, but now I not only have an up to date living dex, but I’m well into working on my living shiny dex. Great video!!
My condolences to your lost team members. I keep all of my teams safely cordoned off in HOME, they're apart from my Living Dex. I'm actually doing all of the Native Dexes myself. Started with Hisui, since that game has no breeding but a small Dex. Currently doing Sinnoh, where breeding other game imports has been INVALUABLE. Next up is Kanto, then I'll do Galar. I'll save Paldea for the crowning finale.
My first living dex was stolen from me when my 3ds was stolen in 2018 List all the 20th anniversary mythical pokemon and it killed me I didn’t attempt it til 3 years later and did my version of The Master Dex Challenge I’m glad I got to rebuild
that story about all the lost pokémon is so devastating... i can't even imagine. they may be "data", but all that data is attached to a lot of really special experiences and memories, and losing so many would be a lot of grieving for me. i lost my very first pokemon game (pokemon diamond) a looooong time ago and i still think about it and miss it. im glad you got to reclaim your dex and get your shiny miku!
I’m doing this too- I only ever had home basic so never did so much transfer until this was announced. Having the opposite mission though- since I kept all version exclusives, trade evos, legendaries etc, it was all the junk Pokemon and easily obtainable ones I had been releasing over the last year since my boxes got full. So now catching them/evolving again starting with like 30% of missing stuff being mons found on Poco Path -> the school lol
I think it's something like 600ish total pokemon you need. I hate to agree with you on the "junk" term but it's appropriate, haha. There were so many pokemon that i caught so many times it was confusing too see them not in my dex when i set out on this challenge. Good luck!
I did the same thing in 2014 when Pokemon Bank came out. I decided I wanted to play X again, and forgot to move everything to Bank. I lost all my childhood Pokemon all the way back to gen 3, including my first starter and first shiny (zubat). It was devastating
I'm currently on my way to complete the Paldea, Kitakami and Blueberry Academy pokedex through only Pokemon HOME and so far it is going well, since I registered all the legendary's in the course of 2 months, and I can thank Bloodmoon Ursaluna for that, and now only need to get 500 resisters total, with the stage 2 evolutions for the starters being the most recent registered ones.I know I will have a nightmare register some base stage pokemons since some that you can receive through GTS are from Pokemon Go (flashbacks to the 20 Zorua GTS trades I had to do before getting a normal Zorua from Paldea)
Hey, I loved the video, but i have a question: How do you record gameplay from a switch game? Im an aspiring pokemon creator (not on this account) and i wanted to see how it could be done. If you have time, I'd appreciate the info
You can use the switch itself, hold the home button to get a 30s clip. It's possible to get footage that way but requires you to constantly record. I use a capture card, which is something that allows me to record on my computer directly using OBS, I would recommend that.
I wanted to let my cousin play pokemon Y in my old 2ds and i thought a different memory card would let me start from zero and i could keep the original file on my other memory card.... so.... I accidentally corrupted my copy, lost all from my first ever pokemon game and the cherry on top my cousin didn't even care for the game.... I get why you would be depressed, i was too. even now i haven't been able to go back and play pokemon y again and even when i have bought a copy of pokemon x too, i still cant get though it.... I have transfer a few of my team members to other games so they ware safe, but i lost so many that i care for. it was really sad, and thinking back to it, it still makes me sad all my poor babies gone into oblivion... 😥
