But if people are in the back - THEY roll down the windows. Great thorough review though and appreciate OOS deep dives.
For people wondering about the trim levels. There is a Core trim level that's below the Plus one. Difference is that the Core comes with a generic audiosystem, not a premium Bose one, less/worse interior lighting, dark matter panels instead of the wood ones (basically cheap plastic ones), generic floormats instead of premium ones, dual climate zones instead of 4-zones and no cabin airfilter which I find really confusing especially because that's apparently to Volvo a big feature of the Plus trim. Also no heads-up display, manually controlled steering column instead of an electric one, 5-seats instead of 6 and 2-way lumbar support instead of 4-way for the front seats.
Great car great reviews. I ordered my polestar 3 several months ago and will try this car three years later. I think this car is more for a family car with more space than polestar 3. Love Volvo and polestar.

μg is a unit of mass that is equal to 0.000001 grams. μ (pronounced micro) is a prefix for 10^-6 and based on the Greek letter Mu. You might be more familiar with other prefixes such as kilometer (1000 meters) or milligram (1/1000th of a gram). m^3 is meters cubed, and is a measure of volume. O3 is ozone, which is good at high elevations like the stratosphere to protect the surface from UV radiation. However, O3 is also a manufacturing byproduct and can be a lung irritant when inhaled in high concentrations. Ozone is a strong oxidizer, which is why it works well to neutralize cigarette smells in your e-Golf. So the car was detecting 126 μg of Ozone per meter cubed of air which is equivalent to about 65 parts per billion (ppb). US EPA and OSHA have different standards, but less than 50 ppb is generally considered safe. It makes sense that the car seems to be calling >50 ppb as "poor".
Fujk me this car is nice nice!!! The car is perfect for 7 big people ! Already tested that at my work. Where we most times drive around as teams. You can push a button in the car and it will drive on all 4 wheels.
For the towing test you should get the Candela c-8 polestar edition, which weights in at 1750kg so well within the capacity of the all wheel drive (and then perhaps a review of how well the polestar 2 motor does in boat form as a bonus)
o3 is Ozone.. They should probably just label the full names or those that don't know 9 stops isn't excessive on a 20h ride, that's 2h+ per stop, which is the recommended timing for taking a break.
In Europe you can also get a single motor version. And a basic core version. The eX90 already has a one year delay. They need the sales, so they decided to start the deliveries. For the VW group: they did launch the ID.3 early with bad software. They waited for the PPE architecture cars. Hence I got the BMW i5 over the A6 (since it wasn’t available yet). The EX90 twin (non performance) ultimate (without bowers and Wilkins) on 20” (with optional air suspension here) is 112k Euro. Seems fair, but I have 2 more years to choose again. The only thing is: I don’t really need the space or the seats, but I like the comfort. On the other hand: I did see a teaser of the Volvo eS90.

really wondering how these lights will move during the day when I want to flash my high beams at someone on the road, looks like it pretty slow to open so it will have a delay?
The reason for why Volvo and Polestar makes you go fully into menus and such is because of safety reasons. They want you to those changes before you drive and not during drive.
I would say theSUV not opening higher then someone who is over 6’ 3” (I believe thats Kyle’s height) is nitpicking, average height is what….5’ 10” ? so majority will never have this issue. I agree with everything else he said. Great car
I need to see a test drive. This car was introduced 2 years ago and still no test drives of it yet? That's insane. Volvo needed to show an updated design and this is fine. Some will complain and only see the screens but it has plenty luxury details beyond the screens. Also, can Volvo show this car in a color other than gray on gray?

polestar 3?
How about the Lucid off road vehicle they are working on
If I'd have it with Bowers & Wilkins then first I'd do would be to cover that little speaker on the center - to not see it reflected in the windshield all the time.
All good content
really wondering how these lights will move during the day when I want to flash my high beams at someone on the road, looks like it pretty slow to open so it will have a delay?
Is Homelink available now? The PS3 doesn’t have it currently and is on the missing software features backlog.
Took its time.
The reason for why Volvo and Polestar makes you go fully into menus and such is because of safety reasons. They want you to those changes before you drive and not during drive.
Kyle… Those headlights are going to be CRAZY expensive to replace outside warranty..
Doesn't matter. Battery electric vehicles "have no spare parts" available for anything. Tape a flashlight onto the hood.
@@tom_hoots haha. Trolling hard here... :D
OMG somebody has plans to drive a BEV outside of warranty!
@@MykolaDzham Yes. This is not the 19th century. No issues.
This or the EV9?
I would say theSUV not opening higher then someone who is over 6’ 3” (I believe thats Kyle’s height) is nitpicking, average height is what….5’ 10” ? so majority will never have this issue. I agree with everything else he said. Great car
Does the 2nd row fold flat? You guys didn’t show both the 2nd and 3rd row down for hauling stuff.
the ambient light blows Benz out of water
OK, assuming a person has no need for the 3rd row, this or Polestar 3?
Cheers guys
This thing will come for at least 150k USD in Brazil and will sell well for the price range, EX30 is selling well for the price.
Any software issues or delays?
250 kW is available at many non-Tesla charger locations.
Yes, but at 400 V, the amperage is the limit at 500 A. With 800 V you can get 250+ kW with lower Amps.
Yeah such cool headlights. 5 thousand dollar lights that total the car when in a front end collision. 🎉🎉🎉😂
The fit and finish on the polestar 3 is so much nicer and higher quality feeling then the ex90 Which is kinda crazy. The Volvo is more$$
Personally I don’t see why you would go Volvo over polestar Unless you have 5 kids
Fujk me this car is nice nice!!! The car is perfect for 7 big people ! Already tested that at my work. Where we most times drive around as teams.
A little plain on the outside, but the interior and sound system make up for it apparently.
So does it at least come with adaptive cruise control w/ pilot assist????
Thanks Joe for forcing the Chinese to make this and P3 in South Carolina!
Chinese don’t build the Volvo mostly built in Sweden or Belgium
@@joshuasims3448 Geely-owned Volvo builds all of its fully electric EVs in China… until now; the American tariffs on Chinese EVs forced them to build a factory in South Carolina while Sweden, Belgium and the rest of EU still get Chinese-made Polestar and Volvo EVs from Geely.
@@joshuasims3448 which Volvo or Polestar EV is built by Geely in Europe?
That guy gets no credit. It's all about Brandon.
@@Got-lander only EVs? EC40 and EX40 are built in Ghent, with EX30 production starting there soon.
Including ICE and Hybrid vehicles? Literally every Volvo models is built in Sweden, Belgium or US except the S90L.
1:54 did a section of the grill just open up???
