U told acne prone skin of colours people can apply 2 times a day salicylic acid wash but it is too harsh after a couple of months my skin got so irritated that I got more acne than earlier white heads even though I followed moistruisation.salicylic should be used only 2 twice in a week. What should I do for my extra sensitive skin my age in 29..I live in India..please tell best moisturuiser for sensitive skin

U approved Cetaphil cleanser which contain Parabens.. & I had that cleanser.. Whenever I used to use that product it used to give me a sting.. Where as this Face shop cleanser worked for me.. I love it!
Yeah I love this emulsion, I have sensitive skin and the face shop doesn’t burn or sting my face at all but other drugstore brands like la Roche posay do, it’s funny they actually say sensitive on their packaging

I actually really love this. I used it the first time in 2010, yes 14 years ago when it was in a different bottle, I remember it was a bit too hydrating for my oily skin back then when I was 20 years old. But I really liked the smell, fast forward 14 years later I just saw it on Amazon and I just got it, wow it still smells the same and it’s perfect for my sensitive and dry skin from tretinoin. It’s so hydrating and smooth, better than the other famous moisturizers I got from cvs, like cerave night cream. I know it has alcohol and other irritating fragrance but I never had a problem with it fortunately

You're right! Given all the great reviews about that product, when i got severely irritated skin after only 2 days of using it, i assumed i may have over exfoliated and damaged my skin barrier when i did nothing new in my exfoliating routine. Never imagined this product with so many hydrating ingredients such as ceramides and HA could be the culprit. Had such high hopes from it after reading all the reviews :( what's interesting is the 2 days of reallllly amazing skin and it suddenly getting all angry on the 3rd
i saw this video today i was about to buy faceshop toner first time faceshop toner but thankgod not buying though i was doubtful seeing the perfume element at the end of the ingredients that was the reason didn’t buy and meanwhile got this video saved my 1thousand and also my skin 😊

I learn lots of things. But most of the products you review either those are not available in market or very difficult to get in Kolkata like ordinary cerave inkylist drunk elephant etc .

The Face Shop is a more old fashioned Korean skincare brand along with Etude House. They need to update lots of their formulations because it’s lacking behind newer K-Brands like Cosrx, Purito, Klairs, and Some by Mi.
I've used the rice foam cleanser and the cleansing oil so far. The oil is so heavily fragranced, it's like they put an entire bottle of perfume in it. I much prefer the Hada Labo and the DHC oil cleansers. A lot of Korean products are fragranced though, the entire face shop is fragranced. I love Purito best out of all K brands

YES! All the OG Korean skincare (the earlier brands that started way long ago) have parfum. It's only the newer ones like Purito, Wishtrend, Make Prem, etc try to make skincare without parfum as they are more open to the new demands of more discerning customers. I like that you do this. I have bought this product in the past and I spent a lot of money on it. Within one month, I had red bumps that turned into brown ones which I couldn’t get rid of for 10 years. My skin was fine before I started using it. At the end of the day, this company got my money and gave me hyperpigmentation for 10 years. I didn’t want to leave the house. I had normal skin until I started using this product. In my mind, if it’s sold in the mall then it must be good. It wasn’t. Never stop telling the hard truth about these companies who lie to consumers to get our money. I have this emulsion & it's good! Things which worked for me might not work for U.. I only have lil dry skin.. no other skin corncerns.. I loved Face shop products!

No there isn’t anything wrong but then one should not give a disclaimer from the beginning that “i will never promote any brand in my platform as i don’t want to be biased” and the very next moment her own brand is promoted. Now when she has such extensive knowledge then there should be some suggestion as what to use instead of the products she doesn’t support due to their faulty ingredient and which is available widely.
The Brands should really happy with you because you are helping them make a better product that will be really good and effective. If they really want to have and sell good products they’ll be happy you helping them to correct their formula for FREE!!

I have an oily skin and my skin used to break out like crazy. The only products that worked on my skin are rice water bright face wash and toner. And I’ve been using these for years my skin has never looked this good. So what works for one person will not work for someone else. I’ve used many expensive products made specially for oily acne skin, without any perfumes and so called good ingredients and it was such a waste on money. I will always choose Faceshop over anything. Just because something didn’t work for you doesn’t mean it’s shit for everyone. Thank you

She's just explaining what the product contains and the ingredients and the science of how those ingredients work on the skin in general. If it works for you well and good but people actually come for a review like these and they find that the product contains such ingredients which might not work for them. I've been using the rice cleanser and cleansing oil, often in combination, which I think is how you are supposed to use it as a double cleanse. You only need a teeeny bit of the cleanser, slightly more after the oil. You're right about them being comedogenic. Maybe that oil combo is why the rice cleanser strips so much. I have oily/combo skin so I'm looking for the Holy Grail and this aint it😢 But its been better than some
I used The Face Shop cleansing oil (two bottles) over the the months and I realised it broke me out and gave fungal acne. I thought since it was a wash off treatment, it won't clog my pores, but their first ingredient is isopropyl palmitate or isopropyl myristrate, which are both comedogenic.
Unfortunately perfume sells. I think a mix of reviews of bad and good benefit us all. Truth is that the most products out there are bad and loaded with perfume. So I feel that it would be a disservice only to focus on the good ones, but I agree there should definitely be an emphasis on the good ones.
I've read somewhere that not all alcohol present in the beauty products have bad effect. I also noticed that you just pointed out the harmful ingredients...how about the other ingredients ma'am?considering that some are harmful...are those product not good at all? What i know is that, all beauty products is processed and chemically treated...with or without those mentioned ingredients...still harmful. Even the recommended products by detmatologist is not that good.

Please continue reviewing all brands and products whether they are outstanding or terrible. If a brand markets itself is skin care and chooses to ignore science and put harmful ingredients into their product that is a choice they make. As consumers we still deserve to know. I think in the end it will result in the standard being raised when companies and their products are exposed. Again thank you for all of the videos you bake and for educating us like you do!

I like that you do this. I have bought this product in the past and I spent a lot of money on it. Within one month, I had red bumps that turned into brown ones which I couldn’t get rid of for 10 years. My skin was fine before I started using it. At the end of the day, this company got my money and gave me hyperpigmentation for 10 years. I didn’t want to leave the house. I had normal skin until I started using this product. In my mind, if it’s sold in the mall then it must be good. It wasn’t. Never stop telling the hard truth about these companies who lie to consumers to get our money. No there isn’t anything wrong but then one should not give a disclaimer from the beginning that “i will never promote any brand in my platform as i don’t want to be biased” and the very next moment her own brand is promoted. Now when she has such extensive knowledge then there should be some suggestion as what to use instead of the products she doesn’t support due to their faulty ingredient and which is available widely.

I have an oily skin and my skin used to break out like crazy. The only products that worked on my skin are rice water bright face wash and toner. And I’ve been using these for years my skin has never looked this good. So what works for one person will not work for someone else. I’ve used many expensive products made specially for oily acne skin, without any perfumes and so called good ingredients and it was such a waste on money. I will always choose Faceshop over anything. Just because something didn’t work for you doesn’t mean it’s shit for everyone. Thank you

If it works for you well and good but people actually come for a review like these and they find that the product contains such ingredients which might not work for them.

I've been using the rice cleanser and cleansing oil, often in combination, which I think is how you are supposed to use it as a double cleanse. You only need a teeeny bit of the cleanser, slightly more after the oil. You're right about them being comedogenic. Maybe that oil combo is why the rice cleanser strips so much. I have oily/combo skin so I'm looking for the Holy Grail and this aint it😢 But its been better than some
I used The Face Shop cleansing oil (two bottles) over the the months and I realised it broke me out and gave fungal acne. I thought since it was a wash off treatment, it won't clog my pores, but their first ingredient is isopropyl palmitate or isopropyl myristrate, which are both comedogenic.

Unfortunately perfume sells. I think a mix of reviews of bad and good benefit us all. Truth is that the most products out there are bad and loaded with perfume. So I feel that it would be a disservice only to focus on the good ones, but I agree there should definitely be an emphasis on the good ones.

I also noticed that you just pointed out the harmful ingredients...how about the other ingredients ma'am?considering that some are harmful...are those product not good at all? What i know is that, all beauty products is processed and chemically treated...with or without those mentioned ingredients...still harmful. Please continue reviewing all brands and products whether they are outstanding or terrible. If a brand markets itself is skin care and chooses to ignore science and put harmful ingredients into their product that is a choice they make. As consumers we still deserve to know. I think in the end it will result in the standard being raised when companies and their products are exposed.
