Killer talent. Musicians musicians. World class rock voices and harmonies. And a focus on musical themes centered around positivity and self-respect. And they were always fantastic live.
saw them 3 times - couldn't agree more
True, I've seen them twice myself
One of the greatest rock bands that ever rocked this planet.🤘
I was there. This was at the US Festival in 1983
Another great three piece band from Canada!!!!! Rock on from Canada!!
True Banger !!!!.. Triumph a Canadian band had a very Big sound especially coming from a Trio .. Rick Emmett and Gil Moore both fantastic vocalists as well as great musicians..
So many awesome songs
TRIUMPH
FOREVER
Looks like this is footage from Steve Wozniak's (co-founder of Apple) US Festival in San Bernardino in 1983. The mult-day festival ran for two years at what is now the Glen Helen Amphitheater. The festival never made money but went all out bringing only the largest bands in (verses having small acts fill the mornings/afternoon slots). Steve apparently personally chose Triumph to play on "Metal Day" with Quiet Riot, Mötley, CrüeOzzy, Osbourne, Judas Priest, Scorpions and Van Halen.
Great band and great song.
I would even call them the greatest Christian Rock band ever, except that Triumph didnt know their sound, although heavy, is extremely inspirational and filled with Christian themes. Love them
Great band. Many great songs and albums
Rik Emmett is an amazing guitar player.and has a beautiful voice
Same concert my favorite triumph song is fight the good fight
Memories!!!! I miss going to huge outdoor concerts. Nothing like it. #vinandsori
Great song! You should definitely check out Fight the good fight by Triumph live at Halifax. It will blow you guys away
Weird they didnt do Fight the good fight. Tho IMO live at US Festival performance is even better.
Awesome band.Awesome reaction.Thank you so much!
The largest concert audience in history !!! 1983’s US festival
Fight the Good Fight
Great Canadian band that should have been huge!
For only 3 members sound pretty full. Well done
Rocking Triumph! Great song🤘🎵
THANK GOD FOR SOME VARIETY ON THIS CHANNEL !!!
this was basically an 'opening act'. the other 'big bands' playing after must have been thinking 'i have to follow that'.....
Rik And Gil " The Impaler" Moore, Fantastic.
That was their first commercial hit, u should've watched the original video,Rock n Roll Machine, Blinding Light Show, Street Fighter Man and 24 hrs a day,..that's the Triumph u need to listen to
Their song, Fight The Good Fight, is more serious. About lessons Emmitt 's aunt thought her as she died from cancer.
Masterpiece.
O Canada baby
Gil Moore the drummer sings lead vocals on some songs, like "Rock and Roll Machine".
Listen to magic power and follow your heart
you have a good point,to sing and play drum at the same time,it is something, another great trio, just like rush, made in canada,🤘🤘🤘
Triumph used to open up for rush back in the day especially in there home country of Canada
Should check out the rest of their set at this festival.
1983s 'US' Festival
US = us, not u.s. 😊
Back when I was in high school, songs like this, were common hear on the regular
I was at that show 366,000 people, quiet riot, motley Crue, triumph, scorpions,Ozzy, Judas priest, van Halen
One of my dad's favorite bands. I love them too
Another in the great Canadian tradition if power trios!
Saw Triumph in 1980s. Good sound for 3 piece band. Btw.....Don Henley, drummer of The Eagles. Hotel California.
Great band..... song fight the good fight
This is from the '83 US Festival featuring Motley Crue, Judas Priest amongst other bands. Sadly only a one-time festival.
Evil Invaders Violence and force - Exciter cover PLEASE from Polnad
Don't guess. We'll tell you. Progressive Hard Rock. Rik Emmett. A great singer, and great...and I mean great... guitarist, Eddie Van Halen wishes he was as talented as Rik Emmett. Triumph - #1 live show in the world in the mid 80's. Dpozens of solid tunes in several styles.
So, check out 'Rock and Roll Machine' from the same concert.......Live at the US Festival. We'll have any more suggestions for you.
Great live version from US festival in 1982, i think. Fight the Goofd Fight should be next
Triumph...the other great Canadian rock trio
Triumph fight the good fight live HALIFAX 1987 epic
Great video of the boys playing the ultimate jam....
But it's not the way you should've listened to it. Studio version please......
🇨🇦
Hi Vin and Sori!!! Would love to see you reacting to 'Katatonia - Atrium' . It's an absolute jaw dropping piece!
I’m still looking for your debate with Jake the Muslims Metaphysician. I will appreciate it if you can share
Good stuff!
Could you guys react to: Smash Into Pieces - Six Feet Under? ❤️
Triumph is a very good Rock Band, and "Lay it on the Line" a nice Song, but way not a "Blinding Light Show" or "City Song Reaction? All Channels the same Song! 🤔Greetings from Kiel (Germany)
PS:
"Saga" is also a great Canadian Band!
Fam, this was the late 70s. The whole thing was men possessing women lol. You had to be there LMAO!!!
Gil moore sanf in a lot of Triumph songs. Underrated drummer. Not flashy and awkward looking but always kept the beat. I saw them live in 1984 at the Hollywood Sportatorium in Hollywood Fl. My favorite band from the late 70's and early 80's. Triumph is not hair metal. Listen to other Triumph songs. Fight the Good Fight, World of Fantasy. Never Surrender. MAgic Powers. Allied Forces. Time Goes By. The blinding Light show. The solo is heavy; Metallica heavy. All the Way has an incredible solo. Rik Emmet is the most underrated guitarrist in rock
Much prefer the Halifax live concert...
It's a pop/rock song. It's not that serious. Always took it as the guy wants the girl to be honest and make a commitment.
She's playing games, he's done with that.
You are over analyzing this tune. If you want to discuss lyrics you should listen to 'Fight the Good Fight', 'The City pts 1&2', 'Ordinary Man', 'Blinding Light Show', 'Hard Road', "In the Night", If you want more songs like this listen to 'I Live for the Weekend', 'Allied Forces', 'Magic Power', 'Hold On'. They have so many good songs. You must dive in.
React to hi ren.....
Trust me😁
U r not regret it
Hail Satan!
Not that hard too figure out this song.
You are reading way too much into it. Lay it on the line. It's that simple.
Triumph tore it up. I was there at the US FESTIVAL '83. 3days,23 bands,500,000 people!!! great concert. Triumph was the best on day 2,over Judas Priest and way better than Van Halen(they sucked)!
