If i remember correctly Eset could get effectively infinite protections back when her silence giving her a shield and prots worked on minions. It wasn’t target capped so you could group several waves of minions and get hundreds of protections off of them
It did have a cap, but it was absolutely huge. Iirc it was 18 or 24 targets and you could reach 1300+ magical prots. It was in one my old 25 smite facts vids I think.

Smite is in such a shit spot for conquest. It's damn near unplayable

3k pot doesn't overcap sadly. Prophetic mits do apply first tho, so you take 13% of 85% of the original damage.

He is for sure, but mits are a different thing and his prots from the 1 don't overcap.
Mulan’s 3 also gives 5% prots and ms when it’s mastered. It’s not much, but it helps hit the cap
Yup, sadly it doesn't overcap but yeah does help with reaching the cap in the first place.
It does overcap if it didn’t you would only hit 650 prots

They made Fen ult flat prots instead of a % increase a little while ago and it no longer overcaps. Same with Eset 3
