Personally I’ve always found that Abilities and Items that increase stats by %’s instead of flat boosts can be EXTREMELY dangerous when one min-maxes that stat: ⚪️Achilles for example is easily capable of Min-Maxing either his Pysical Power or his Resistances thanks to his passive and second ability, at least when paired with the right builds (Corrupted Bluestone and Eldritch Dagger are Achilles’s best friends in tandem with the above… Run Sturdy Shard with the Dagger to have both of their passives up almost permanently.) ⚪️Meanwhile Chronos with a 50% CDR Movement speed build literally runs laps around his opponents and allies alike, especially with the proper items.
The real sleeper ability is Nu wa's clay soildiers. The stun and prot shred are the normal focus but the hp gainbased on your hp is a lot stronger then what people give it credit. If you build her with more hp they can survive abilities and more than 1 crit. They can absorb damage, put enemies abilities on cooldown since the would require more than one ability to kill and deal respectable damage on their own and if you time it well you can still detonate them after a while for the stun.
I got Eset to diamond before she got that buff to Dispel Magic. When I started it had a range of 35 units and only silenced + magical protection shred. After the buff she got the range bumped up to 55, the slow, and the health shield. Honestly she just needed the range bumped up and think the health shield was too much. Honestly I think Xiang Tian's Furious Roar(his 1) and Fafnir's Coerce (his 2) are underrated. Furious Roar is just one of the best anti-ADC abilities in the game, reducing BA damage by 50% is just very strong. It also just chunks damage to tanks because its max HP damage. Its just a really good ability people are sleeping on. Coerce is just a really nice buff for allies. It heals him, increases attack speed, and increases damage. Its just a very good support ability to take objectives.
Ix chel has a lot going for her, the fact she can salvage many situations with her 2,3 or ult is realy huge, especially with rejuvenating hearth built in for some extra heal
I think Clio's ult is really underrated, typically described as niche/situational/unreliable, etc. It seems that not many realize how versatile and useful it actually is. Instant lane clear with low CD at all stages, great zoning ability with long enough duration, that can serve as CC, e.g. by cutting off escape routes or to peel enemies off your team or to safely break the enemy positioning in teamfights without sacrificing the more valuable teamfight abilities, super long range nuke on a melee assassin, obnoxious damage, even 0.5 sec take of a good chunk of enemy hp, if you land it in a nice tight spot - GG (if comboed with some cc - can wipe half the enemy team in a couple of seconds), a great defensive tool to prevent enemy from following you by dropping it ahead and going straight in, a great heal when dropped on a wave even from basic passive ability lifesteal, a great tool for taking and stealing objectives, that's just off the top of my head. I just hope I never reach MMR where ppl know they can kill it in 3 attacks
I been playing alot of cerb since the mystical buff, it feels so good. You get basically true damage mystical, pridwen and contagion procs. You can basically 75%-100 a backliner if u blink ult them and put them in fire.
Yo, Inters3ct. Does stone of binding work on Cerberus breath? If so, wouldn’t you just shred ALL of the backliner’s prots? (Assuming there are no aura prots)
I think stealth in general is underrated. Using it effectively makes the gods that have it hard to predict and more difficult to locate on the mini-map. Even Nuwa and Discordia have great stealth abilities that make them harder to approach. Another ability that is super underrated is Ama 2, it's a shotgun that gives her a bunch of mitigation.
I think Smite's most terrifying ability is Zhong Kui's 3, which can double the interaction with every part of the attack speed build, giving him almost an absolute advantage in the solo lane.
Yeah Ghastly breath with old spear of magus was straight up busted. with syone of binding and void at the time you could 130 magical prots and 115 physical.
xbal ult is such an interesting one because as much as I liked the stun element, at any half decent level of play it was pretty much irrelevant anyway so taking the stun off really didn't nerf it THAT much
Xing Tian's 1st ability. Reducing basic atk damage by 50% means your adc will win the trade against the enemy adc every time, assuming your adc somewhat decent. And now it will have a buff of 30% from the get go, so winning lane is going to be much easier in the early game
Terra's 2. Everyone sees it as a short stun that has a delay and requires double activation. For me, it is an extremely op ability, as long as you use it creatively, using positioning and your enemy's mistakes against them tenfold
on xbal run the earrings and your ult auto are hit scan as well. so you can ult at phoenix line and kill any non tanky carry within 2 seconds. there is basically nothing you can do
Thanatos’ second ability is insanely underrated. Scythe is obviously his iconic ability but 35 flat pen + a ton of movement speed on a 12 second cd is nearing ult levels of power.
Xbalanque is a great hunter. It's been some years since I played Smite because of me having my data stuck on PS4, but losing the stun on the ult will not stop them from being great.
Chiron's 1, Training Exercise, is pretty solid for damage, but it has insane value as a jailbreaker. Really good against lengthy or telegraphed CCs, like Nox combo, or Charon ult.
Weird one but apollos 2, hes pretty damn mobile and a 2.5s cc to let you allies catch up or set up is really good and it gives like 60 prots which helps trades and survival

Darkest of nights ligit turns any offensive movement an enemy has into a little coward afriad to engage until the lights come back on. Even if nothing is near em theyre back strife a little thinking something is coming after them
Cerb 2 would be busted if it wasn’t interruptable, at most against a god with a stun you’ll only do a fraction of all of that damage and prot shred, the one follow up is what does massive damage and hits like a literal truck AND it stuns if you’re playing cerb correctly
why does shiva 2 has the same 30% attack speed buff as fafnir, yeah is a second shorter but fafnir only get the 30% after ranking up to rank 5 (around lv14) shiva get this a rank 1 (lv2 basically)
no kumbha ult is surprising to me with 775 damage and 55% scaling its not the strongest ult but close to 800 damage on a guardian is crazy plus a long cc so you can use it if your getting chased on top of all that he gets basically a guaranteed 2 of which is another 300 damage plus free setup for your team so all this on a base 75s cooldown is ridiculous
if im playing a warrior who can lock someone down then bully them i love a friendly ix chel ult. dive in as osiris and hit the three i have mitigation they do less damage im getting healed they get stunned and cooked
I actually hate playing against nu wa bc of her clay minions as they are absolutely broken if u can’t burst them instantly. Good nuwas always destroy me with this ability

I used to run horus jungle and the interaction between hydras and crit with his 1 was so funny. You shred prots with the two you knock them up for the bonus damage then you do 1k cause funny.
Ngl arachne spiderlings come to mind when i think of under rated abilities, because they can work as a sudo ward and if you try to clear them and arachnes near you will die cause even if you leap, blink or dash away the webs will still follow and you are forced to fight.
As a low rank supp main, I have to say, Atlas's ult is overrated. Cuz otherwise Nemesis should be a great physical support. Reducing %21 power with basic attacks and %25 prot shred on ult, If you build stone on binding to her, after her #2 you can shred 16 each flat protections too. So İmagine ulting someone, then slow'em ... and then start hitting basic attack'em which will reduce their power %21 less. But even with this Kit (and she has a self healing thorns as an ability) she never mentions as a good physical support. Btw she steal those prots and power to herself not just reduces... Thx to new runeforgehammer glyph, stone of binding, pridwen red glyph and so many more for a tank shredding prots not a hard task. And If your tank suitable to build 1 or 2 damage items lke soul reaver or divine ruin even more shred. I mean Void Stone and Void Shields are back, now just standing next to someone can shred %10 prots !!! So that's why his ult overrated, its good on paper. But no one will stand on that ring long enough, it aint has any root or slow with it, easy to walk away and the beam damage is a joke even when you build damage. Atlas. Your 1 doing more damage than your ult. I mean Ares with stone of binding + void domamu + divine ruin can render more prots with triple chain + fire than Atlas's ult and Ares still has a meaningful setup ult for his team. As a support main, I really dont like these last support designs except Maui. Charon is all over the place but no center , Atlas has good poke, safety and somewhat peeling but once his damage reduced he become out-meta so quick. And Bake wasnt a supp god, and it's a lazy-ass designs. Sadly we didnt get a good supp for a long time. Anyway, I think that ability not underrated it's either fairly rated or just got overrated. I Mean Cerberus with Stone of Binding + Soul Reaver can do what Atlas doing with his ult only by using his 2 :D

Underrated ability in my opinion is Maui 2. People dont know it gives you great prots and a escape as long as the maui has good positioning.

The real strength with Xbal's ult is muscle memory. With how often I still find myself stopping in place, it might as well still have the stun.

The fact that Cerb's 2 slows means it also procs Stone of Binding, if you have this you are shredding up to 67 prots ar level 20. Busted.
