      Thank you, Martin! Yep you're absolutely right about that. I know it won't help with a load of varied sized rocks in one load, but I may tack on some expanded metal so that grabbing up dirt with it will be more efficient. But when it comes to the rocks, you just got to be patient and take as long as necessary. I appreciate you watching, my friend! And I was just thinking today that I can't wait to see you working your land again soon. :)

    Shout outs to the smallest fans are great! A sentence or two in a video can mean a lot to a child. Great job! Those rocks will look great. I need to use some of the rocks I have around here for something, but the big rocks on my land are actually just compressed shale I think. They chip and break pretty easily. Hey Dave! Yes and I knew they would for this design of grapple. I don't have to move many rocks on the property so it's not that big of an issue. I also use the grapple to pull up buried rocks around the yard and I think I have most of those removed already. @@PaleHorseOutdoors I had a Land Pride 1060 on order since October 2021 and was told in January that it won't arrive until November 2022. So...I cancelled it and ordered a Wicked 55 from Everything Attachments. I really liked the design of the LP1060, but the Wicked is much lighter and deeply loved by it's owners. Thats the difference in grapples, some are good for logs some are good for rocks some for rooting out roots in the ground for cleaning. I have a flatter bottom on my grapple and would have been able to put the smaller rocks in there by hand as long as they were not too small to go through the tines. They are not all created equal and sometimes I would have liked to have your style of grapple. That big rock you picked up almost picked up the back of the tractor, what kind of balast do you have in the Big Tool Rack? Maybe you could have put the smaller ones in there for more weight and would not have had to gotten out the cub with dump cart.

    • @PaleHorseOutdoors
      @PaleHorseOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! Good points about the grapple types. I've only used this style so far. I think this style is a pretty good compromise for being able to do so many types of tasks. I'm thinking of tacking on some expanded metal to help keep in smaller materials in the grapple but I haven't really decided on that yet. At the time of filming, the BTR had tools and a couple fir rounds in it. Normally I would have just had my weight box on there for the rock grappling, but it was going to rain and I needed to get the rocks out before that area got squishy. LOL I really appreciate you watching! See you on the next one!!
