Yeah the better side isn't always afraid of hurting each other, they rather heal and not torture and don't engage their base desires to see others suffer for their own pleasure.. Generally
Of course they turned on each other you really think they all would still be teaming and helping each other when the ultimate power standing there in front of them you darn right I would turn on my allies I want that power like everybody else.
As someone said
"If you want to find out what a man is to the bottom, give him power. Any man can stand adversity - only a great man can stand prosperity"
It is funny how Dairou, the mercenary, who joined the Forces of Darkness actually got one of the best endings.
He made peace to Outworld, Earthrealm and Edenia.
I would like to see an MK game where Earthrealm are the invaders and you have to play as characters from other realms to stop them
It’s been years since I played this game, but I thought the presence of Blaze influenced every Kombat ant to fend for themselves?
I wish we seen how each of the Forces of Darkness and Forces Of Light came together for Armageddon I wish there was a cutscene of Taven eavesdropping on the Forces Of Darkness and Light gatherings.
@@Frosterino Yeah.
For example, why Ashram is one the Forces of Light.
She only thinks she a hero when in reality she is killing innocent people
I wish that huge battle from the intro was a playable free-for-all where you fight whoever you wish and help turn the tide of battle in your side's favor.
@@inr9751yeah that would be awesome just imagining it is awesome.
0:12 Out of *ALL* the people who could question Quan Chi's possible scheming, Shang Tsung should be the *LAST* one to call him out.
compared to them shang tsung is an angel and he knows it.
@@johntravolta8389 Mm, not really sure about that 👀
@@vapor.6292 pre NRS he never actually betrayed anyone outside of Deadly Alliance, where as Quan Chi was established as a treacherous sorcerer who betrays or manipulates everyone in MK4 and was carried over in DA followed by Deception. So at this moment Shang Tsung *is* the most trust worthy.
@@lg6884 this is true.shang used to be the best of them in the older timline
Come to think of it MK X&11 have seen Shang Tsung and Quan chi switch roles. With Quan being loyal to Shinnok and making no attempts to seize the amulet for himself. While Shang Tsung is betraying everyone he comes across
Shao Kahn really showed more intelligence in this one cutscene alone than he did throughout the entirety of the NetherRealm made games.
This was also one of my favorite Outworld moments. Seeing a 4 way alliance like this. I really miss Onaga as much as I do Shujinko and Havik.
They did Shujinko dirty in this game. After the events of Deception it's like his character learned nothing and his delusions of Grandeur rose to comedic levels.
Well, they came back now
@@JargonMadjin Shujinko and Onaga hasn't returned as playable characters though(just cameo, Shujinko wise). And that Havik is not the same. I miss the more calmer Havik that's not Dairou. Turns out, it's a title after all, like Rain, who's Overlord Zefferro.
@@HRPNX-vl4uu It's better than nothing at least

I love how Quan Chi looks at the camera like "These dumb mother fuckers..."
Ayooo 😂😂😂😂😂
I like the way onaga looked at shao kahn after he said "to war!" Like he still doesn't trust him lol
Me: Can I go to the bathroom?
Teacher: You can go out during recess.
Bathroom at recess:
Shao Kahn: Onaga
Onaga: EMPEROR Onaga!
Shao Kahn: Not anymore, Look at little emperor junior, Gonna cry?
Shao Kahn: "I'm gonna put some hammer in your eye"
"EMPEROR ONAGA!!!!"
"I missed the part where that's my problem."
bully shaoKahnuire
I love this thread 😂
Seeing these four, all powerful in their own right, agreeing to work together to slay their enemies, is truly a terrifying sight
Damn onaga got that gangsta walk
And followed by Shao Kahn's badass walk. Shao and Onaga were the fucking real G's of MK universe
Meanwhile Shao Kahn has the pimp walk 😂
That swag walk at the end is whats the icing on the cake in this scene for me lmaoooo. Walking around like the fucking boss
0:46 you can feel the disrespect Onaga felt in that moment
I love the size difference between Shao Kahn and Onaga.. shao kahn looks like an ant next to Onaga. Dude is to mortal kombat what Oni is to street fighter, a mass destruction killing machine. They both look like they could destroy anyone in their respective rosters.
Onaga: I’ll never join with you!
*Three drinks later…*
Onaga: To war!
Shao Khan showing the kind of mindset you need to be one of Outworld's strongest rulers, he's not just some himbo like in MK 11
"Look, we're all going to try to kill each other in ten minutes, but right now we need to be evil together"
i like that their mutual understanding is just "we are evil"
Shao Kahn had a real strut going on at the end.
Wow a few years later where technology has increased we got... .... invasions!!! Lol
Ikr? It's such a downgrade.
Shujinko was dead set on taking on Onaga, Shang Tsung, Quran Chi AND Shao Kahn all on his own. Whether you think he’s stupid or brave, he’s a batshit insane badass. Imagine he used his absorbing powers like he did in Deception if he had gone against them?? Oh, man, he would be OP!
Onaga: "Ah shit, here we go again..."
This is shujinko?
@@malintended
No, you play as Taven in this game. But on the way to Shao Khan's throne room, you free Shujinko from the palace dungeons.
@@johnnygyro2295 I always assumed Shujinko just got lost on the way to the throne room since he never did fight them
I like how Onaga walks with this exaggerated swagger of a black demon
Onaga: Why should I trust any of you traitorous bastards?!
Quan Chi: Do you really want to hear me give the Optimus Prime speech?
Shang Tsung: I'll get the Linkin Park!
Shao Khan: I'll just sit here with some popcorn.
looooool
On tbe subject of Transformers, here is a little comparison between the villains of both franchises.
Shao Kahn = Megatron
Shang Shung = Starscream
Quan Chi = Armada Dirge
Onaga = IDW1 Zeta Prime
Shinnok = Fallen
Tanya = Blackarachnia/Arachnaid
One Being = Unicron
Revenant Liu Kang = Nemesis Prime
Reiko = Beast Megatron
Sektor = Shockwave/Beast Machines Beast Megatron
@@vaggos2003 agree with everything except comparing Beast wars Megatron to the garbage tier Reiko lmao.
@@cygnusprime6728 The reason I compared them was because they are both individuals who followed the footsteps of the mighty leaders of their factions, Megatron and Shao Kahn, despite having vastly inferior power, while also having both a gigantic sense of admiration for them (they even reached extremes because of that, with Beast Megatron changing his name and taking the name "Megatron" and Reiko sneaking into Shao Kahn's throne room, sitting on his throne and wearing his helmet) and a personal thirst for power accompanied by a deceiving and scheming nature.
Whether they are good characters or not is irrelevant to the similarities they have and the comparidon I made between them (although, yeah, Beast Megatron is a badass).
@@vaggos2003 I mean Megatron actually got shit done and was a hell of a leader with genius strategies. Reiko admired shao Kahn but accomplished absolutely nothing. Literally the only thing they have in common is admiring the previous ruler and adopting some of their mannerisms. Megatron is a well developed character while Reiko has even less depth than freaking Waspinator.
I like how this "alliance" didn't even last 20 minutes because in the intro they all betray each other
The heat of the moment lol
Well only one being can acquire the power by defeating blaze so it makes sense that they’d turn on each other in the end, they’re all probably aware of that fact too, it’s obvious
It's comedic how the voices just get deeper and deeper 😂
My Favorite cut scene of all time in mk history, 4 of the most badazz villains in mk history working together.
-Onaga
-EMPEROR ONAGA!!!
-Not Anymore...
That's ultimate, guys
0:45 that voice....
1:31 that Onaga walk XD
These 4 together are actually pretty scary 😮💨

The demon
The shape shifting sorcerer
The monster dragon king

Would have been cool if Shinnok was there, imagine all of the mk final bosses at the time standing together in that room.
Watching this made me forgot how unique Konquest mode was. Thank you Deception and Armageddon.
The latest NRS MK’s may be more cinematic in their story but Midway’s MK has the writing and imagination no cap.
The true "Big Four"
I thought Onaga was cool as hell. I hope he makes a comeback
two biggest badasses
one shady man
and quan chi
decided to join forces until they could safely kill each other
Funny how these villains are so desperate, even an alliance full of potential traitors are still better than to be defeated by their actual enemies.
Where funny
That’d be sick if the portal just instantly killed them all and Quan chi betrayed them lol
"To war"
Mkx blood shower brutality plays
“To WAARRR!”
Epic trumpet music 🎺🎺🎺 🔥
I love how during all this Super Villian League Conference banter that Taven sticks out like a sore thumb in the background, especially in the angle where Shao Kahn's and Onaga's sights would be.
Hell even when Onaga was about to walk out of the meeting (0:46) he would been able to see Taven and say, "Hey! Who's that!?" and blow Taven's cover completely lol
Maybe their vision is based on movement?
What if he saw him but decided to let him do his thing and indirectly use Taven in his favor?
To be fair, Taven could probably take them since he can freeze time, he's a demigod

Also raiden being there when taven shows up and revealing he made a deal with them to protect earthrealm was epic

this is just so fucking dope. the PS2 era was my favorite solely because the character interactions and world development were so much better. seeing this interaction felt like such a fucking treat back in the day
People often forget Dark Raiden was there conspiring with them. He must’ve just left because Taven happened to run into him in the halls.

My middle school days... Thanks For The Throwback.
That exchange between Onaga and Shao Kahn about the Emperor title has lived rent free in my head for over a decade
I laughed so hard at the body movements like why are they so dramatic 😂😂
They act like they're in a WWE promo.
Quan Chi has a menacing voice
My favorite part about this scene is how they're all aware that betrayal is a guarantee, but still bother to temporarily ally themselves anyways.
I just realizes that Onaga is what Reptile would have become in Deception.
The way how he responded back to Shao Kahn was epically Crazy & The Dragon King responded back saying “EMPEROR ONAGA!” You know it’s crazy day in Mortal Kombat like the video game, especially the comic book it never showed Shao Kahn removing ONAGA! That is something what every single Mortal Kombat fan wants to see.
"ONAGA.."
"EMPEROR onaga.."
"Not anymore"
"GRRRGHRHH 😠"

The best thing about this scene is Shao Kahn copying Onaga‘s walk lmao
Well Onaga is his father so…
Shao Khan was his advisor but he poisoned Onaga to usurped
😂😂
Quan Chi talks like the zesty neighbor whose always trying to invite high school boys over to his place to smoke
One sneeze and Taven would die. Just imagine having to face all four at once.
Onaga: no more kicking

Onaga is still being a sensitive brat.

Always liked that last line with Shao Kahn, Cause he knows where's he getting himself into as he knows he's gonna be betrayed by his alliegances and knows Onaga is gonna plot on killing him as long as Darkness wins.
Can't imagine how Shao Kahn used to consider Onaga his emperor in the past to literally become his equal or superior
Well Onaga did kill him well until the retcon.
But hey that was fair revenge.
Shao Kanh is still not superior to Onaga.
@@chillout7544 Well yeah cause now from everything it's told, Even in dialogues, They say Onaga is still the Emperor while Shao Kahn just goes by the name of Shao as General, Which we don't know if Onaga will take the role Shao Kahn had in the 2 previous timelines or will Shao Kahn finally start to make his move on taking the throne and perhaps have a slight different role than what he previously had.

Even kids who did understand English back then, we didn't realize how crazy this scene was until we got older lmao. Quan Chi is many things but when he spits facts, everybody listens
Yeah I remember this scene, the heroic music really makes you want to root for the villains.
