Strange times in the high-end segment of the EV market, but the Taycan is and has been a stellar car. Anyone who is a genuine auto enthusiast, wants an EV, and can stomach the prices, it’s somewhat in a league of its own. Oh yeah, and they look awesome.
Taycan is the best EV hands down, Second one we've owned and when the lease is up on the 24, latest version will be next. 15 yr Porsche owner and driver. They nailed this car, it is my favorite!! I've driven them all!!!
Having had a Taycan thru work, they are very inefficient, so you use 2kw when other cars do it with 1 for the same distance. The rear doors are a foot thick so you can't open them in a parking space. They depreciate like a Maserati
Having owned both taycan and Tesla. Battery, motors, and software architecture still feels 6 years behind on Porsche. It's good that they made a joint venture with Rivian. They needed it
Software maybe… but it’s the best car I’ve own! Tesla it’s norhing comparable! I own both car! My winter shitty car is an Tesla! Also battery… a lot faster to charge than Tesla !
Name one thing tesla has that porache software doesn't? Tesla doesnt even have a HUD 😂 not to mention when it comes to driving porsche new suspension and handling dynamics have it way above any tesla. Plus teslas look like basic traffic
@@darrens7603 LMFAO.. The IRONY.. tesla cybertruck set a record with most recalls in history within less then a year. 6 recalls for the cybertruck ans that's a company that is notorious for recalls and they've been making EVs since 2012. Porsche taycan 2020 is their first ever EV car. Obviously it wasn't going to be their best even though they smoked the fastest tesla in 2020 and now in 2024 have the taycan turbo gt smoking every tesla once again. At least the taycan looks cool and still drives like a porsche. Teslas look like a NPCmobile. Legit basic traffic
Not a good car. I owned one for 5 months. Between the software issues and terrible range/charging network and extreme boredom coupled with insane mass, I couldn't wait to dump it. These are cars destined for the landfill and dealers can't move them, it's junk.
U can't compare a 2020 to a new 2025 that has drastically improved in all areas. Even surpassing tesla in range and charging time. Plus all new air adaptive suspension that makes every other car feel terrible once u drive with it.

@@Json918Depreciation is brutal on a Tesla too. Key reasons to buy the Taycan over a Tesla are: looks, build quality, comfort, and ride quality. They look better than the dated Tesla designs, they are incredibly well built, and the ride is so quiet, tight, smooth compared to any Tesla. Tesla's a relatively good value but can't match the luxury and quality of a Taycan.

I absolutely love mines & glad I made the switch.
Best FASTEST thing about these is that they will go up and up and up and up in value over time faster than any other car. Hey, I can dream can't I?

He’s right . I know I’ll be able to get this car in 2 years for 50k how exciting lol
It's an over priced EV with low retail value

@@G82Watts Tesla doesn't have recalls everyday or fire risks. Checkout the latest recall on taycan. Germans are on fire, literally 😅
My taycan is losing value faster than I can count. Thanks to these new recalls everyday

2 year old CPO is where it would make sense to me. Will wait to see if the software issues from the 1st Gen still persist.
Great car
Does this car change colour ?
Hope they still make a GTS wagon version for you (and me if I win the lottery or finally muster up the courage to commit securities fraud)
I’d be shocked if they didn’t
Why would anyone buy at this price?? These rings are dropping in value faster than Amber Heard pants 😂

Just use the tesla chargin network?
You didn’t own one these, stop b*llsh*ttin’.
They are brilliant cars. I should know as I used to run a Porsche 959 and a 993 RS as my daily drivers.

An overpriced car that drains your wallet by half within the first year. Tesla is better in every way.
How do? You say Tesla is better in every way, so how is that the case? I would love to hear your reasoning.
