We've come a long way with electric reels.
That 500 would be perfect for catching Bluegill in the creek behind my trailer. Those things can get up to quarter of a pound, or .113 kg.

why would one use an electric reel for fishing under 100m of depth ?
Smashed my hand building a rock wall, the X-ray looked more like a tennis racket than a hand, so always looking for ways to get shit done and this does the trick when it comes time for hauling in big channel cat.
