I had never caught a trout in my life and after watching your videos, I got into it and I’ve caught a couple dozen trout (Brown, Rainbow, Cutbow, and Brook) in CO, NY, and RI in 2 months. Now I’m addicted to trout fishing with my st. croix ultra light trout series and daiwa reel with 4 Ibs test. Thanks for the inspiration and tight lines!
Growing up in CT I used to love trout fishing in streams, brooks & rivers. I can hear a mower in the background so you are by houses or yards at least lol. I wish I had spots like this around me. Love your vids FH.

When u want to make a video u call up uncle and he stocks all theses quality fish for u. What a lucky guy u are. O I just woke up from a great fishing dream. Keep fishing and making great videos. As I’ve said it the past I wish more TH-cam fisherman and fisherwomen respected and handled the fish as u do.

Actually, I assumed it was a wild stream. It's just amazing that so many wonderful fish, and Browns at that, can come from a small and obviously local country stream. By looking at the old bridge abuttments one can see that it's not tucked away in the wilderness. It looks rural. Nice job!

I am actually in medical school here in WV and came from Missouri in an area that is strictly bass/catfishing, and me and my buddy are trying to get into trout fishing here in WV. Done plenty of research and stocked up on necessary gear, but we are having difficulties locating good spots to fish near the Greenbrier area. Any suggestions/ideas would be greatly appreciated! Have to love when a purchase which seemed as though it may have been a bad one suddenly turns extremely useful. The 9 minute mark wasn't bad! Certainly keeps the day enjoyable! The 10:00 rainbow was not bad. That could be dinner. "...had an amazing day of trout fishing..." You're not kidding. I would have enjoyed it as well! pk (Google kept the ads rolling on your channel but has seriously reduced them on NRV Outdoors' channel. I wonder why...)

It’s amazing to me how many fish you catch per hole. Surprised they don’t spook much after their buddy gets caught haha
I live in Ireland, I’m 12 and I go fishing quite a lot. I’ve cough about one fish in like 3 months. And here you are catching like 15 fish in one day 😭
There’s so much involved in choosing a lure, going at the right time, right place, casting in the right parts, and some days it’s just random. I may have caught 4 fish in the last month. Then I went fishing on my lunch break the other day and did 10 min of fishing and had 4 on my line and landed two of them. It’s a big reason why fishing is great.
YES TROUT VIDS . These are the only thing keeping me from going crazy till I go next weekend

Those small brown trout pattern and rainbow trout patter crank baits work amazing!! My go tos for sure
@Matt Johnson I’ve good success using Streamers in those patterns too, with a 7’ fly rod, 5wt. Barbless hooks

Actually Browns were imported from Europe. Their tolerance to water temps is greater then that of Rainbows and Brookies!
