5:30 actually you can use packed textures. Duplicate such a texture and in a details' panel you can choose what channel you want to use so you can set Red to 256 and the rest at 0 and here you have it :)

This produces a nice effect and is one of my favorites. The only issue is it warps the plane the texture is on and is hard to use as a wall or floor that easily mates with another wall or floor. Quixel has some nice textures that repeat and these fit nicely together, But I still have an issue mating the perpendicular.

These Modeling tools are so horrible. When I click "Accept"I can not edit "Displacement" in the future? Similarly, if after creating a Rectangle and clicking Accept I wanted to change the subdivision, I can't do that anymore either?

I am pretty sure this displacement is intended to look better with blue channel vs red channel.

Thanks for tutorial. What is the difference of going to displace through modelling mode and by editing the static mesh in Nanite Settings ?

Why in my case I need to scale up the Z axis to have the displacement working (even with Perlin Noise)

You select Mesh (assets) and Materials. Once you download the materials into UE you can navigate to the Textures folder via the content browser wondiw
