🙏🏾🙏🏾Thx for the info. My husband is a Usmc vet at 100% we have our appointment finally scheduled and I was wondering what the evaluations would be like and I found out here!! I hope we get approved💯🤞🏾💫
Thanks for your help brother. I hope things are going well for you these days. I lost my father in 2019. I am going through some of the same shit you’re going through. It was really helpful and it eased my anxiety after watching your content on the care giver program. I really appreciate your work.
Thank you bor. Thanks for your channel. I used this as a guide for my interview and (I think) I nailed it. I won't know until the end of the month but you're doing good things sharing with vets. My conditions are legit and without your video, I think they (the GOV) would have swept another Vet under the rug. Thanks again!
Thanks for looking out for the veterans. Outstanding information that all vets need to know about. I would like to know what you know. How can I learn more?
The pay is based on Home Health Care services based on where you reside. Since you’re in the philippines it will be based on their pay or my next guess would be an average of what the US pays a home health care an hr multiplied by the hours you receive care. is there a VA in the philippines?
Call this number first 855-260-3274 to find a local Caregiver Support Program. Go to this website as well www.va.gov/health-care/family-caregiver-benefits/comprehensive-assistance/
you do not need to quit your job... the caregivers program is not an employer and is not meant for it to be forever. it is a rehab program. but do take advantage of it until you are taken off. go to the meetings and use the counseling services to help you as well
last question... 10-10CG indicates I should only apply if one of the condition is the injuries or trauma were incurred after 9/11/2001. I am caring for my 91 year old Dad, retired Army. Since not of his issues occured after 9/11 I can't qualify as a caregiver? Seems weird.
so i do not know when they will roll out the new caregiver for veterans services timeline requirements. it was suppose to happen either this year or the next. it started off for post 9/11 veterans
@@combatvetvlogger8685 how would it be affected if the combat Vet has a permanent disability that won't get better? I've been 100% for 5 years and 80% for the 5 years prior. My condition has not improved. Not working for 5 years now. Been on medication for 10 years now. My wife would be the caregiver but I don't see how she would be able to improve my PTSD symptoms.
More veterans need to be on your page. You give a lot of info and i learned some stuff that i never knew
Thank you my brother. Share it as much as you can. Whatever you learn pay it forward and teach another veteran.

What kind of pay do the caregivers get if the VA is overseas like me. I live in the Philippines.

I take care of my husband ( 100%) and I have a part time job, do I need to quit my job to qualify? Thanks for your information. Very helpful channel!

can you receive this for ptsd 100%
yes my brother you can for 100% ptsd.. i receive it.. btw any veteran with more than 30% can receive this benefit
can i do a combination of where I give care and also have a nurse visit once in awhile.
are you part of the caregivers program? if not you can contact the va to have nurse visitations
Great video. Do you have a caregiver? How long did it take?
Yes I do and it did not take long for the process to get approved
@@combatvetvlogger8685 hey can I email you. I have something you might make a video about and help some folks.
Sure my brother. Combatvetvlogger@gmail.com
Does it have to be a family member?
no it does not.. it can be a girlfriend or friend that comes and takes acre of you
This is not right! Why post 9/11 ....what about Disable Veterans before 911...
because at the time thats who it was only for... now the VA Caregiver program is for every VETERAN from every WAR
@@combatvetvlogger8685 100% ptsd veteran from persian gulf war. Do i have to wait for the era to be phased in?
What if I didn’t serve during war but I’m 100% with 70% Ptsd. Would I be eligible
For a care giver?
yes you would be eligible for caregivers
Will this affects my rating?
it does my brother. the program expects you to get better because its a rehab program
So are you on it now? If not did your rating get lowered? I’m 100 P&T
