I hope you guys can get on the program because it does offer so much help for him and you as well. I remember my mom getting group therapy talking to other moms and finding better ways to treat their veteran
So the caregiver program has been approved for for veterans who served before 9-11? if i herd you correctly? i am rated 100% p&t plus 60% with house bound & 3 other (smc)..My wife is a successful real estate agent who owns her own company & works out of her office in our home. she could really use the help while taking looking out for me..the last time the VA. told my wife i don't qualify for the program because i wasn't a 9-11 veteran. Ive broken my lower back, pelvics, right femar, suffer from nerve damage in both legs & have paralysis in the right footAll from active duty overseas .I can't remember the medical terminogoy for the ratings the VA. gave me, but i can't hardly walk now until i get my spine fused next month i have two collapsed discs & i am wheel chair bound half way now, but i suck it up & do the best i can.Sorry they screwed you too,you fought in Iraq or Afghanistan they should let you have it.(gulf war/desert storm/Somalia combat disabled retired veteran US NAVY )
thank you bro.. im trying. i dont want others to go through the crap i go through. i learn from others and pass it on. and i definitely like to share my mistakes.
I am rated 100% P&T by the VA and I am medically retired. I submitted several applications for caregiver support 3/4 times and they denied all, saying that my conditions is not permanent. I filed an appeal and the same individual denied my appeal.
Iam is 100%ptsd an 40 TbI I haven’t been able to work since my discharge My dececion makeing is like a 5 year old I have problems holding items constant dizziness headed running into stuff but Iam at tear 1 I have seen other vets getting the highest tear an have about the same degree should I try to pursue a higher tear
continue going to your doctor and reporting your symptoms. tbi is different and it is a blanket diagnosis over ptsd and youre lucky to have both rated separately.
That is why I wanted to talk to you. I saw this coming. You in Brooklyn? I am in Miami. Semper Fi buddy. Let me cogitate. I may have a solution for you. Meantime good luck.
nah my brother i am in the bronx. hit me up through email and i we can exchange numbers. but i am not going to fight this decision. i may have an appeal and technicality but its way too much to go through and if the program is available 20 years from now maybe i will reevaluate getting back in
@@combatvetvlogger8685 your email? You did not waste your time. You gave another Marine an idea. I already have a neighbor delivering pureed food. Bean curd shit. I get help w/ my hand braces. Told the VA doc you need a 2nd set of hands to put on your hand braces like you need a pair of glasses to find your glasses. Duh. I sleep in my clothes so I dont have to dressb/c I cannot just like I am getting my bud to type this. You gave me an ideas. I can still think...sort of. Thanks brother.
So would the caregiver support program ever mess with your rating? Also why would they not just use the C and P exam but also want the evidence that was given to c and p examiner?
Hey 👋🏾 brother I have a quick question. I’m already rated 90% with tdui. I wanted to know if I file a new claim for migraine an file am increase for my skin condition. I wanted to know if I get denied for my 2 new claim would it affect my tdiu??
So you are TDIU with a 90% rating.. you are already at 100% based on TDIU.. why would you want to jeopardize that for new claims. you are basically opening up your case to be re-evaluated and I dont know if they might take your TDIU rating away but it would be pointless to make 2 new claims.. example: I am at 100%.. if i go put in a claim for my neck and tinnitus it would not change anything. i will still be 100%..
Thank you it really help I will let my husband know thank you God bless

yes the program has been extended to veterans all the way up to ww2. you qualify now so go for it.
Thanks for the update man
you are welcome my brother
Thumbs up. Fight back!
I would love to and I can but its tiring. It will reduce my visits to the VA which is much better for me.
Glad to see you’re back! I thought you quit UTube lol. Rah.🇺🇸
