I can feel it! I know how that DR feels and I was riding with you! What a beautiful place, except for the rattlesnakes!
It is a great place in the spring time. It's about as green as a desert gets lol. Most of the time I see gopher snakes or king snakes when on the bike. It was a surprise to come across two rattlers sunbathing on the same trip.
That stream was beautiful, I would just be afraid of walking around much, never know if there is a rattler behind one of those rocks!
That entire area by Bartlett is freaking awesome.... If you still ride the mighty DR we should do a ride!
