I have worked for many years as a mechanic In 3 different Bike Shops but I was fixing my own bike since I was 13. Like many riders, I couldn't afford to have my bike fixed by a bike shop every time it needed repairs, upgrades, or maintenance. If I didn't know how do these things myself, my bike would have sat in the corner of the garage and I wouldn't still be so interested in bicycles.
My mission is to keep more bicycle riders in the sport.
Whether you can't afford to take it to a shop,
you don't have a way to transport it to the shop,
you don't have time to take it in for repairs,
or you just want to learn to fix, repair, and upgrade your own bike,
I will help to keep your bike running smooth and you riding longer.

Any idea how to run a 16 tooth freecoaster? Everything is 9 teeth, but my older bike needs a 16 tooth rear sprocket. I'm currently running a cheapo coaster brake.

@@ReVolt_e-Vlogs Thanks. The answer for me was a Profile Z-Coaster with a 13 tooth cog, and female axle bolts. The front sprocket is also smaller, and you can find bike gear ratio calculators online to determine the correct front sprocket size to match the new 13 tooth rear cog.

your comment is old but you just have to make sure to keep the back tire where it is and don’t let it move when you tighten the back tire again.
