the way i physically recoiled when sydney sweeney said "do you ever think your mom's just a girl?". surefire way to shut me up
The second line kinda got me good
It must be really nice to have a mom like that. My mom is a manipulative alcoholic narcissist with a victim mentality.
@@angelahutson6450Yeah, but do you ever think about how if you grew up just like her that you might develop the same defense mechanisms?
@@angelahutson6450twins! My mom is exactly the same.
@@alephmale3171maybe but I honestly don’t care to think like that. My mom has put me through absolute hell, and has treated me like she doesn’t care about me. Detaching myself from all her bullshit, rather than constantly worrying about her has brought me so much peace. I spent so long trying to understand her, humanize her, feel sympathy for her, and it was only making my life worse after she continually let me down and used me.
Your comment, and even Sydney’s line, is not wrong at all, I just don’t think it applies to everyone’s situation with their mom.
the way “your moms a girl living life for the first time” actually made me start crying
same here
“Uh yeah I guess I love them”
“Don’t say it to me, say it to them”
😩😂
That was actually a little bit profound - nice work!
right?!
i still haven't found my words.
Is it pointing out men”s passive aggressive-gentle manners ultimately did not satisfy the woman, so she cheats with an alpha male? 😂
@@stockholmsyndromeself-trea7517 you're held hostage
True.
Don't mess with my hungry guys!

I like when she breaks up with him and the "Aw, maaaan" sounds like he just ran out of Pop Tarts. Excellent!
Aww, man, I'm all outta cash!
@@Thessalin no no say it like this:
omg dont say it like a pervert!@@Thessalin
Hated that line and how Sydney just so casually broke up and left him. There wasn't even a quick but intense exchange between the boyfriend and Sydney's boss. Like, the whole skit felt so earnest, yet it gets wrapped up with two pathetic lines that seemed written by 10 year olds. I understand the joke is supposed to be the juxtaposition of their earnest expressions with others to their complete lack of earnest with themselves, but it just doesn't work. There needed to be more intensity.
@@Polemicist_look dude it's an snl sketch with an actual ending, be grateful
Andrew Dismukes is a secret weapon.
He's always funny.
His skits with Lizzo have been some of my favorite ones.
He really is
I strongly disagree. His stiffness always just kills sketches stone dead.
okay but the majority thinks he’s funny
@@ChickenNuggetTheFirst Correct.
The dynamics of male friendships and their general loneliness/chilled vibe to everything is honestly a goldmine of unexplored funny skits
Unexplored? Wow, have you not watched any of Jonah Hill's movies? Like, not a single one?
The way the mom bit actually made me tear up a little. That would work on me lol
Did I just see a punchline ending for an SNL sketch?? What a historic event!
I mean, they had to put a joke in there somewhere... because the rest of the skit certainly didn't have any.
@@alancunningham4452 not a big fan of any humor above puns sounds like your type
This sketch made me emotional… I don’t know why.
Was it the man love or mom empathy that got to you?😅😂😂😂
@@lillielevros-desir227 I was gonna reply earnestly, but then I abandoned the thread. Just like my son.
@@lillielevros-desir227 Man love :(
Lotta dark sketches this week.
Male friendship dynamics & subtle lonlinless is both depressing but also funny af imo...untapped potential re skits
So this is the girl Australia named an entire city after.
Yeah and she has a brother named Brisbane.
Dad is named Perth and Mom is named Canberra
She's got a kangaroo named Alice Springs
And the architect designed their opera house after staring on her breasts while tripping.
they were going to launch a thousand ships but...been there, done that, right?
The ending 💀🤣 *“Oh, they’re gone.”*
...was completely predictable?
He said that?
His face and mustache in the background when dude said "pops out a set of dentures " 😂😂😂
I like when you guys do smart funny sketches every once in a while.
Me too! Too bad this sketch wasn't the one.
Some people aren’t smart enough to realize the sketches are smart and funny.

Andrew wear a fake mustache i usually assume its his Idea he wearing a mustache for fun to see if he really want to commit to one.
my man is like Daniel Lewis in There Will Be Blood
Intersting theory☺
Looks like Ted Lasso!
Wtf is this comment 😂
Molly's line wouldve been slightly funnier if she said "The smell never left...but I did" and started crying.
It would've been way funnier has she said this!
It was the best line ether way tho.
Neither were funny but
@@tylerphilco well that says a lot about this skit
Yup. Made me chuckle though. Reminded me of Chunks crying confession in The Goonies.
I thought we were going to get a third loud table when she told him about her boss. Andrew stayed on brand though. 🤣
I thought they were gonna be the loud table lol

it's always a 50-50 shot if SNL skits will stick the landing. it didn't this time, but the journey was fun
This is a gem.
She walked away from the table of ladies without retrieving the pic of her mom.
I caught that, too!
She carries extras for these situations.
Ending should have been they became the loud table and were asked to leave.
I was actually expecting that and it would’ve been much funnier than what they ended up doing
@@keymusic look 👀 at us writing for the show!
This is my favorite sketch of the night! ❤😂❤
This was the only sketch of the night that made me laugh out loud hahaha
Am I the only one who find it weird that all of Andrew's sketches end with him being cheated on and humilliated
I mean, he looks the part.
The way I gasped when Glen showed up
Who is that? I didn't recognize him. Glen who?

This sketch is brilliant.
I tell my friends I love them all the time
The stuff with guys being vulnerable and reminding girls another their moms was spot on 😂
I don't know how anyone keeps a straight face with Heidi doing her thing... she's so good

JAJ and dismukes are always the bright spot of the night
Way too real, amazing.
Love the piano in this video!!

GREAT SHOWS PAST 2 WEEKS. I was starting to give up.
great writing in this skit!
The pats on the back before he walks away from the table 😂😂
Love it! 😍🤣🤣
What a great SNL Skit!
Wonderful sketch.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 great sketch
Okay, Andrew to the rescue. This was the only skit from today that I kinda enjoyed.
I love Andrew so much
This hits HOME. Why is this so real?!?!?
I may be strange, but I LOVE it when there is a loud, rambunctious table nearby. It makes me wish I was part of the fun and could join the antics. I am not usually one who is at a loud table, but would like to be. I live vicariously through the loud table nearby in a restaurant....lol.
Yes! I love loud tables having fun being carefree.. I still remember a group of regular diners from years ago who were occasionally at our local Mexican restaurant the same time we were.. they brought a stuffed armadillo with them.. lol.. always wondered about that group for years.. I definitely missed out and wanted to be at a loud table occasionally too.. lol
you must be clapping at the movie theater also..
naw, me too. it's the ability to acknowledge a world outside of us, but i'm an outsider as well as an observer.
"It makes me wish I was part of the fun and could join the antics. I am not usually one who is at a loud table, but would like to be. I live vicariously through the loud table nearby in a restaurant."
But doesn't the FOMO bum you out a bit? Like when I drove Uber and I took these happy people to fun parties but I wasn't part of it. "I love private jokes. I hope to be part of one someday" - Michael Scott
@@davidwaters8902 yes absolutely. I never thought of that, but I'm sure being an uber driver or a server in a nice restaurant or bar is difficult too lol. You would get FOMO every day. And wonder why your life isn't as exciting as the rest of the world, but you don't realize that they are making lifetime memories on that night and it's most likely a rare occurrence or they are celebrating something important, but it would make it appear that everyone's life is constantly fun, warm, exciting, and carefree because you are doing it for your job to see people when they have their "hair down." You have most likely had magical experiences in your life, too, but they don't come to top of mind while you're at work, so there is that contrast too.
I knew the next line was gonna be "It's her first time living too."😂
When I was 15 I took her car and smoked a full pack of cigarettes in it, and then barfed in the front seat. The smell never left. My favorite moment of the show.
🤣🤣🤣
Omg..... whoever wrote this skit did great! So creative and hilarious
