“How old is he?”
“40”
“Okay so Facebook” 😂
NGL that line both cracked me up and hurt me at the same time 🤣🤣🤣😥😥😥
That one cut me deep.
Edit: And if look below, you will see alot of middle-aged assholes in their natural habit...projecting.
We started on Socials first in 2007,
Lol 😂
Yep it was funny and so true for me too. 😂😢😂
Extremely rude, lol. I'm 40 and FB is for boomers.

22 years old in a situationship is way too accurate
I'm 21 and when i slide into dms (which is super ultra rare) I want to kill myself, women are so uninteresting on social media while posting themselves half naked and she's my age. when you swipe up on a picture of themselves it makes you wonder what that cross necklace around their neck means when they are up on a dj booth every weekend and they refuse to carry on a conversation unless you know them personally. god i hate this modern dating. idek how to describe it.

As a crime analyst at my local PD, this is 103% accurate.
I can imagine. Reminds me of being an IT contractor who was seated in the HR department of a large company back in the mid 2000s, and watching the college graduate new hires or interns school the older HR ladies in 'how to look someone up on Myspace'.
This was a funny start to a very good episode.

We found our stolen camera on fb marketplace and had to explain to the police how metadata proves it is ours. Felt a lot like this. 😂 We got it back!
Facebook marketplace saves photo metadata? Or was it the metadata on the images in the camera?
@@adminbird Images of us taken with the camera over the years.
So not really metadata just pictures of you, that the thief didn’t delete off a years old digital camera that first they stole and then they tried to sell on Facebook marketplace, that met you in person and allowed you to go through the pictures and confirm it’s your stolen years old digital camera, then called the police and had to explain metadata to them?
@@dmcgee3 I'm guessing he means the metadata from images taken with the camera match the metadata from past images that they had; there were not necessarily images saved on the camera itself.
@dmcgee3 you thought you ate, and proceeded to get ate. Rip 😢

Gen Z cat got me some phat fat groove skitz skills. 😅😅
This is so accurate. A friend had a break in at her house and we were able to track the person down on IG and FB! We got back all the stuff he took! Found Him!
how ??/ what was your process?
Because petty thieves are not real bright.
When you realize social media influencers are better detectives then actual detectives 😂
this is more about how much info is available about yourself publicly to anyone with good or bad intent.
*than
It’s funny how you don’t assume detectives wouldn’t browse your public, voluntary shared, social information to not only profile your behaviors, but track where you often go. It can be life-saving for people who don’t break laws and devastating for those who just self-report. Fun, huh?
@@TophinatorStreamsNobody said they didn’t but they’re often bad at it, like any other person above the age of mine

Kenan Thompson is rock solid. I believe he's one of the most valuable cast members on SNL.
Lmao this was so funny 😂 Sydney and Chloe giving a bored recap of their searches and explaining themselves with “we’re 22 year olds in situationships” was perfect.

Words can't express how much I love Kenan in SNL. He's the only reason I'm still watching since his skits remind me of the days SNL was clever & funny.
No.
I've been rewatching all that episodes and reminded how hilarious he was back then too
Word.
Ok Boomer
"Caked up." and "I like a little fruit in my salad ." were brilliant, especially since Lisa from Temecula likes to get her salad tossed. Love a great follow through joke. Whole thing was good.
This scene is an instant classic, I loved it
💯
I love how everyone in this sketch had their moments! Everyone also had their fair share of weird too.
was kenan’s “cool cool cool cool” a nod to jake peralta (andy samberg) from brooklyn 99 or am i reading too much into that HAHA
No, I think you could be right! That makes it even funnier! Good catch!
Absolutely. So good
This new gen. 😂
I'm in my mid 40s, and I do this for my job to screen people. If you use the social internet at all, literally anyone can find you, and everything about you.
Surprised that they even want to be cops because they get triggered over the silliest shiz!
I'm a Gen Xer. Not much scares me! 😂 #LatchKeyKid
How they can actually bring something this fresh out of the writing tables after so many years????🤣🤣🤣
this skit actually is the best out of so many , no comparison
Keenan's "coo-coo-coo-cool" reference to Brooklyn Nine-Nine at 1:28 - fantastic
The shout out to Chris Delia with the Snapchat was excellent
A better ending would have been one of the older detectives finding one of the perps using his MySpace
You should do this segment often this was so funny my whole family was howling 🤣🤣
Crazy how social media has solved more crimes than most detectives.
and caused and equal amount
Extremely focused ones
Theres a good video by imaginary axis about how death note couldn't happen in modern times because of this
...and created violent sex crimes.
It’s funny how this comment isn’t true but it is nice that when you have people from multiple facets help each other out to solve serious crimes: work. You do realize that non-police persons can do more because of the various state and federal laws that bind the abilities of various entities.
This is one of the funniest skits I’ve ever seen on SNL.
Sydney demolished this episode! Loved her in every sketch!
I don't believe the hype.
it was all awful
No simp
Sydney and Chloe are the perfect duo in the skit. Girl power! 🙌💗
This is a play on Sydney’s character from white lotus when they sat next to the pool. At least that’s what it seems like to me, but it could be a coincidence.
Seems to me like two different writers' takes on tech-savvy Gen Z girls/women.
Sydney's phone case is so sparkly. I want it.
3:23 That Charles Melton mention was for me THANK YOU

The loud random laugh at "caked up" making Kenan break was the best part of the Sketch

I'm in love with their phone cases lmaao

They do have a point: We need a show that can focus attention on internet presence. We already did a lot of show in physical evidence(silent witness, CSI), psychological profiling(Criminal minds), and even specific types of crime, but I do not know any mainstream one about digital evidence.
Especially since most criminals talk about the crime they just committed on social media...I agree
@@user-yw7ge6jc7p well, darling, since we living in the digital era, everything you do on the internet leaves a trace: the discussions you had with your recent dead wife, the websites on neonazi stuff that could motivate a hate crime, and also that knife you ordered on Amazon.
@@user-yw7ge6jc7p no criminal will admit anything without proper evidence, which can either be physical like CSI, or digital, which should have a show about it.
There WAS a CSI: Cyber, but I don't think it lasted more than a season...
@@RichardX1 I mean, I understand it can be a very tricky thing, considering in cybercrimes you would not have too much human interaction. I guess an idea is to be like normal CSI, with a background guy that give further information and shows how the process of obtaining digital evidence works.
