Momoa is hilarious! I absolutely look forward to seeing him on SNL. He nails every sketch and puts 110% into it having a blast the entire time. Seeing him get ready and get down aggressively into that pushup position was a great touch!! This was a great episode!
But the pushups weren't real. Form and attempt weren't right. He could've done some actual pushups and hammed them up and made it all the better.
That "EW" from the wife was so powerful.

That is not a dad bod. He looks like a powerlifter. He has a small gut but he's jacked. That is what dad bods think they look like when they lift but they are missing the good genetics and likely a bit of test cyp.
Jason hasn't been shredded since his first aquaman film, he was at least two stones heavier in the second film which would account for why he never took his shirt off, the bare chest shots were left to his male co stars who were in better shape. Having said that Jason still looks good, we all( mostly) thicken up a bit in middle age. He looked his best in his early thirties. Still gorgeous though.

No matter how many times Kyle Mooney or Mikey Day (or other guys before them) played these cuck roles, Andrew makes it his own through the weird intense energy that makes him the main character even as you know he's meant to be a loser. I'm glad he got a good response from the audience. I also thought this was Jason's best role in the episode - he really did make me laugh flexing his pecs.

This does feel like a Mikey Day skit - but Andrew is leaner, making for a better contrast with Momoa & he definitely held his own in this skit.
