It’s cause much of the design of her outfit is more easily identifiable to a belly dancer, only when she starts to dance that you’d see she’s not. Still sad that her weapon is not a scimitar, would have been a better match than the paddle she currently weild

In real history Hermanubis is the god associated with "exploration of truth" and the god who leads the souls of the dead to the underworld the justice part of the character is because Anubis holds the scale of justice. He is a Graeco-Egyptian meaning He was created during the period of Roman domination over Egypt. He was a amalgamation of the Greek god Hermes and Egyptian god Anubis. A man with a dog head in Greek robes holding the staff of Hermes and a tiny papyrus roll.😊

Fun fact that Yelan’s design is actually based on the Mingguo (the former republic of china before modern day china) style which is a very specific fashion style during a certain history period in China, but Vegas is definitely close enough since that was heavily inspired by the western trend (jazz age) during that time

Also, the casino vibes is more Macau or Shanghai than Vegas. In Chinese movies regarding that time, the casinos are much more linked to the shady underworld and back-alley dealings than about gambling - That's why Yelan's skills are like so as well.

@@LARVideos I mean, he didn't do Mona, Keqing, and Qiqi, mostly because they followed the same format with their intro, and being just gameplay. plus the music for all 3 of these start similarly with the tune before going into different compositions to appeal to the character.

To answer the question about Ayato's trailer, the general idea with the commissions in Inazuma is that there is a Shogun and 3 commissions that rule over different matters (military, economical and cultural stuff). I do get quite a bit of the Meiji vibes from the whole thing, but it also has the Sengoku period vibes in my opinion (with the Shogunate vs the rebels on Watatsumi).

The god/ruler of Inazuma is the Raiden "Shogun".
The Kamisato clan helped open up Inazuma's borders again, and basically ended all of the Shogun's plans.

10:53 there are mainly 3 types of support characters, as you said
- a healer
- a shielder, and
- the 3rd one is a buffer/debuffer.
Kujou Sara is one of the best example of a support char thats only a buffer, she doesn't heal and doesn't have shield, but at C6 she's one of the best raw electro buffer/"support" in the game. Some support chars possess all 3 types, example Diona, who shields, heals, and buffs chars if her shield is active (reduce stamina consumption & increase movement speed), plus at C6 she buffs EM with her burst.
Though these classifications are not official, its mainly just to make it clear for the people playing the chars what their roles are in a team.
For sure! And even then sometimes people will classify characters like Kazuha as support too so it def isn’t just healers and shielders:)
I think Anemo generally does crowd control as a support. Like how they gather or moves enemies.
This was a great video! I loved both of your reactions to Yoimiya, Alhaitham and the Fontaine characters because they’re definitely my fave characters. Also +1 for acknowledging Chongyun in Shenhe’s demo because he still has one of the best designs out of all the 4 stars in game.

@@jacenstuff If they're not the loli model, the characters are more than likely late teens at the youngest. The loli model is like mid teens at the oldest with Sayu, who's like 15.
If.. you don't count Dori, that is. Who I'm pretty sure is just a really short adult. The youngest medium height character is Collei, who's around 16 at her first meeting with the Traveler.
Funnily enough, the tall female model has Shenhe, who's likely around 17 when you first meet her.

The fiancee VA trivia is unexpected but a very welcome one. I don't know about EN, but in JP, some of them probably handpicked. For example, Yoimiya is voiced by Ueda Kana, who was born and grew up in the Kansai area (Yoimiya uses Kansai dialect) and is very well known for her role as Tohsaka Rin (you know, red and archer). There are more examples, like how Furina is voiced by Minase Inori (has water in her name) and Wriothesley, who is voiced by Daisuke Ono (basically Jojo), but it will take too long, so yeah.

Yelan trailer is not Vegas. Since she is from Liyue, it's actually old movie protray of Shanghai city during 1930 to 1940s, where it is more like a mix of Chicago where the city is a mix of both Western technology and art with Chinese interpetations. Neon lights, Clubs with singers and jazz bands, and Gangs. Just the version of Shanghai from Kungfu Hustle basically.
Edit: it's also what Shanghai was actually like back then, just not as dramatic like the movies.

Just some context with characters in HI3: The character pool is smaller than genshin, but there are a lot of different variations of each character (called battlesuits) that have different skill sets and rarities (S rank and A rank) so not to get confused with skins. Although there are different skins for each battlesuit character variant.
And last thing. There are genshin impact and honkai: star rail counterpart characters from HI3 such as:
Raiden Mei in HI3=> Raiden Shogun in genshin, Yae Sakura in HI3=> Yae Miko in genshin , Bronya Zaychik in HI3=> Bronya Rand in honkai:star rail, Bronie(an alternate version of Bronya Zaychik) in HI3=> Silver Wolf in honkai:star rail, Murata Himeko in HI3=> Himeko in honkai:star rail and Murata (the pyro archon is said to go by the name Murata) in genshin, and Welt Yang in HI3 is the exact same Welt Yang in honkai:star rail (he’s not playable in HI3 though).

1:16:14 As someone who has Baizhu, he was designed with a Damage dealer + Healer in mind, gaining extra Dendro DMG bonus and his main weapon increasing his damage bonus based on his HP, unfortunately the devs thought he’d be busted or something so they Xinyan’d his kit and made it all scale with ATK whilst his healing scales on HP and further Xinyaning him because this is fixed at C6
HOWEVER, currently he is not one of the best healers in the game, he is THE best healer in the game, very solid single target healing on his Burst and a massive teamwide heal on his skill, as well as periodic shields somewhat alleviating one of a Healer’s biggest problems, no interruption resistance, his healing combined with his Dendro Element makes him the best teammate for Furina, who obviously he gains stacks from HP changes (Baizhu changing your team’s HP a lot) but the resulting Bloom Cores generate and deal damage to the active character, further generating more stacks for Furina, he’s the best healer in the game in the teams where it’s most necessary
13:44 i like his “gameplay” and yes he is strong in what he does but……. He a solution looking for a problem to fix. Or he just lacks that little bit to become very viable. He is one of the best AoE geo damage dealers yet there is no scenario where that is absolutely necessary. His AoE geo damage could’ve been great for shield breaking yet his E does not activate when damaging shields. He has a very consistent rate of Crystalize creation yet crystalize is bad (except for navia tho this comment is pre release) and he doesn’t scale of off EM. He buffs EM and doesn’t interfere with reaction that much but his buff isn’t large enough to subsidize him for nahida or sucrose. He pairs amazingly with venti, sucrose and kazuha yet they have no reaction with each other and most floors aren’t just small groupable monsters.
I do use him a decent amount in a Tighnari spread team with Baizhu and Yea Miko. They both make great use of his EM buff in the right rotation and all 3 characters have a fairly decent range so its a very safe team.
Rotation: Tighnari E, Yea 3xE, Albedo E Q, Baizhu EQ, Tighnari CA 2/3x depending on how much time you have left then EQ. Yea miko Q into 3xE.
His EM buff is nice but its not the end of the world if you don’t have it up in time again.
I use this rotation against single target bosses. This team’s rotations are very flexible. In multi wave I rarely use his burst. Only when i have a few seconds of cooldown on my Tighnari and Yea Skills just to get some damage boost.
29:23 Claymores technically isn’t a subgenre of swords. Thats the same as saying the Messer or the sword breaker are a sub genre of swords. The Messer is a specific type of sword forged by knife makers in Germany. Messer means knife. They were called that for the handle. The sword breaker is a special parrying dagger made to mostly be strong against thin blades like the rapier. The claymore is specific type of two handed long sword originating from Scotland. If i recall correctly its one of the largest long swords. Any larger and it comes into the category of the greatsword. These two are often confused in the common media.
56:40 i love that they made Cyno a cliché and a middle finger to popular tropes. Yes he is anubis and he literally judges people and kills if he absolutely has to. But…… he is a giant goofball and a Card game geek heavily referenced/joked about around Yu-Gi-Oh. He has that classical anubis/egyptian character seriousness done absolutely the right but they didn’t made that his whole personality and gave his personality some depth and other sides……… unfortunately they didn’t do the same for his background/story.
1:09:36 i feel like alheitham is very much like Tartaglia. One of the highest damage potential but quite complicated kit compared to other characters, stricter rotations and team restrictions. But very very good.
1:14:56 one of the best sentences in all series/films/video’s ever in my opinion. “My mortality is no one’s concern but mine”. Its soo calm, collected, stern yet oddly intimidating and bad ass.
1:29:00 note that the spotlights are coloured of the elements of previous nations. Green-blue-purple and yellow. Sumeru-monstadt-inazuma-Liyue. She throws money at yellow, which is liyue, where more used to be made. Coincidence??? I THINK NOT!!!!!

Such a shame. There are some 4star demos that are very good, with great music on par or even better than 5stars =/ like Faruzan, Charlotte, Lynette and few more. Skipping old ones i can understand because sometimes they are not that great but new ones are good.

For me, the peak of Genshin are Layla, Faruzan and Charlotte's demos because in 1 minute they manage to convey their vibe and personality while making excellent cuts and visuals and with a perfect theme song on top of everything as the icing on the cake

He can be a healer a really good one and a really good sub dps and when you get him to c6 he's broken like he's a cracked unit.
