Skeleton Crew is one of my favourite star wars live action shows so far. I say: "live action" because to me nothing tops Clone Wars, Bad Batch and Rebels. What also can't be topped is a Discord server for this community. I know I don't have an account anymore, but I refuse to give up the fight for the Community! Great episode as always guys!
Glad to be able to hear that someone else is still enjoying Star Wars as well. Star Wars used to be something my family loved and I could be excited and enjoy it with them. Unfortunately, my brother is too in the weeds politically and refuses to have anything to do with the Disney era anymore and my father is super busy and hasn’t had time to catch up on Star Wars shows for a while.
Just found your channel, it's great to hear people having fun talking about Star Wars again. Skeleton Crew is a lot of fun reminds me of when I was 10 and Star Wars just came out. Skeleton Crew also got me thinking about The Bad Batch too, the animated shows are some of my favorite Star Wars.
I am thoroughly enjoying Skeleton Crew. I love how they pay homage to so many other shows and series beyond Star Wars as well. The Kh’ymm scene reminded me of the original Dark Crystal scene with Aughra. I can imagine we will get 5 more episodes of tributes, winks, and nods back to 80’s and am looking forward to the ride.
Yeah everyone in this show is just a joy to watch, Neel keeps being the best lol. Can’t wait to find out more about Jod’s backstory! Love that we got a B1 appearance! I also wonder if we are going to start with the parents at the beginning of every episode moving forward.
I cant believe how good this show is, takes me right back to when i was a kid enjoy the original star wars when it first came out in the 70s,i can feel myself smiling while im watching it, i think the sets and child actors are great, cant wait for the next one, fingers crossed it stays this good🤞🤞😍
The multiple sunrises could be clues that the planet is in the Sunrise System. Could the brooch be made of Nyix? Was the Onyx Cinder discovered in a dried up river bed from over mining the most precious metal in the region? Is At Attin occupied by the Grysk? Was thus the planet Thrawn was looking for?
Did you wonder why we don't know the kids and parents last names. One of the families has a recognisable last name. Fara, Fern and Hana are all.... Hooks. Some call me sm33....
I am really enjoying this so far, but I wonder if this would have been better presented as a movie as it feels like it was written that way and then divide up into a 6-8 episode series and then sometimes but in filler that would normally be found on the cutting room floor (where it belongs). This seems to be a common mistake with most of these streaming series, not just Star Wars. To me an episode series needs a longer run time and stick to a single mission with maybe an overarching storyline. Not right for this series, but Mando kind of started that way and would have made for a better run, but they got a little lost along the way.
Who is "we"? Do you call yourself speaking on behalf of all Star Wars fans? I don't think you're speaking on behalf of me. Don't get me wrong. I'm enjoying "Skeleton Crew" very much. But I had also enjoyed "Obi-Wan Kenobi", the first two seasons of "The Mandalorian" and "The Acolyte" a lot, as well. For me, Star Wars doesn't have to adhere to one kind of genre . . . or tone.
