Jemco Roto Kap Storage Box for The Polaris General

- You won't believe how much stuff this can hold! Jemco has been producing some of the best cargo boxes we've every laid our hands on and the company's latest cargo box is the Roto Kap for the Polaris General.
Similar in design to the Ranger Roto Kap the General Roto Kap has hydraulic struts to keep the lid open when you want it and has secure latching closure which is also lockable when you walk away from your rig.
The height of the General Roto Kap is such that it allows you to slide in a standard height cooler or a 5-gallon pail to be slid underneath the cap and still be closed.
Attaching the dust proof and watertight cargo box to your General is simple, it uses 4 expansion plugs that fit in quick and provide an extremely secure fit once tightened down.
Jemco trusts the mounts and the cap so much that they even allow for up to 250 pounds of gear to be stacked on top of it and tied down with the built-in attachment points.

I purchased two sliding gate latches, mounted them to the tailgate, drilled holes in each side of the bed, inserted brass flanged bushings and...now I can latch and lock both the Rotokap and the tailgate. Works wonderful.
for a video you guys should do a top gear style special. aj luke and mark have a budget to buy a second hand bike and compare them against each other. could make a good full episode

It's a hatchback now - now if you talked to Polaris and have them make a optional locking tailgate handle then you could use it on weekend trial rides where you know your stuff is safe. Cheers

It would sure he nice to see a company step up and make things like this for all brands including cf moto. I'd love to have access to accessories. And in my climate a topper or cap would be awesome.
You say it’s lockable, so does it also lock the tailgate shut also or will it allow the tailgate to open while it locked Every time someone has shown this product I’ve asked this question and no one has answered it

@@dirttraxtv You literally just made a video showing all the benefits of this cool locking box and yet you have to contact the company who made it to see if the tailgate will be able to be opened when it's locked?! Can't you just go check it on your Polaris?
Unfortunately, the tailgate still opens. The General Rotokap was manufactured and designed by Rotokap the company, so it is not our design. We think a cap that locks the tailgate in would be really useful though.
@@jemcocargosolutions2708 I think it would be great so that all the valuable stuff in the box would be safe. It would also be great if someone would make lockable Commander tops. As would other SXS brand bed topper even some with extra height sorta like my Commanders with the lower box area with a slide out or drop out tray
@@jemcocargosolutions2708 so why even put a latch to lock if someone can just open the tail gate, had one in cart to buy because he said lock your stuff secure glad I did not click final step. Alls it would have taken is a lip on the lid that went over the tailgaite a few inches
Do they make something like this for the 21 commander I haven’t been able to find anything like this, any help would be appreciated.
Not sure if they have a model ready for the 2021 Commander. There's a link to the website in the description which probably lists all available products. Have a look and see if you find what you're looking for.
