I bought a 2022 general , ordered it in 2021. Nice machine in the hills and trees of our 60 acre farm. Suddenly moved to the Oregon coast and it would not keep up with the can am x3 4 seat we also have. Now I have a Pro XP that still wont keep up but we bought it for trail riding and other fun stuff. Still miss the General, such a nice little unit.

We are the same height, I never felt too tall for the windshield. I also move my windshield wiper above the glass

Curious when you’re slowing down is the popping noise the clutch?

Get the longstar seat bases! They will fix that visual issue. I put them on my 2023 general!

If you like the interior of a General, you ought to check out the RMAX, which also has the BEST CVT in the business and of course engine braking.

Yeah I’m a big fan of Yamaha, we have a 2008 Yamaha Rhino 700 that we still use to this day it’s been bulletproof, I would love to get a RMAX

Crazy expensive and the always feel like they’re about to break down. Definitely don’t want to skip services… they’re probably the best looking though. Think I’d buy a Yamaha.

Good assessment. All UTVS are expensive! You are correct about the General is not as utilitarian as a Ranger, but is better on the trails. Not sure why we need to have Generals, RMAXS and Commanders. They are a compromise that lean more to trail runners. Not needed when they have RZRS and other machines dedicated to off-roading excitement. Now, Kawasaki has jumped on the bandwagon with their new Ridge.

I absolutely love my general 4 seat. tons of aftermarket mods but it is by far the best all around machine out in my honest opinion. ive had rzrs, x3s, a commander... by far this is the most useful and best all around out. i can pull my boat to the lake, trail ride it, fill it with dirt, plow, i have full doors heat nav stereo and mine is a 6 seater... what more could you ask for.

Have you had any issues with creaking and rattling? Some of the reviews I’ve been watching have said that these things develop after a short while.

You should of talked a bit about the maintenance record between the two machines.

You left your other vehicle in the way at the beginning of your video. Was kinda distracting when trying to get a look at the general.

If you install the windshieldwiper you can't set the original back mirror n the right position. For this price of this two parts it is not o.k.

Polaris is the master of assessory games. How about a street legal kit as standard. I would like them to be pulling wires at the factory rather than at the dealership, what could go wrong...right? and lastly, full doors with crank up windows, I know, buy the new Expedition and get electric ones. $$$$$$$
