I still have my masking machine I got second hand in a paint suppliers in 1984 it was £12.00 UK pounds. A 3 roll machine, on the estate I had my unit there were a lots of small work shops but none had a masking machine lol Nice work but your man is right abt the work on the callipers. Charge extra as if it came in as a separate job it would be the going rate... Prep and paint those off would be 3. hrs On the car all day...!!
Thank you! The paper tree is a life/time saver!! We try and charge accordingly for the calipers knowing its an all day thing, definitely would not want to deal with taking the calipers completely off and apart 😬
Solo, you're a fucking painting genius to paint all those many parts separately and make them look exactly the same! That was an amazing job you & Vlad did. I'm going to copy your vid and send it to the manufacturer and troll them big time! 👍🏾
Dude there are good painters around the Seattle area where I live but if my ride needed paint I'd drive it the 1200 miles to SOCAL TO HAVE YOU PAINT IT!
Nice job! I was wondering if i can paint my calipers just the same way you did! I have an Audi RS6 4g with ceramic brakes! My only concern is that the paint will not hold up with the heat from the ceramic brakes!
Thats true, the ceramic brakes do get hotter when driven hard. Most of the heat is on the rotor and brake pads themselves, the caliper itself shouldn’t get as hot so you might be okay. Which color are they now and what are you thinking of changing to 😀

I am not going on track, but sincer the car has 2 tons of weight…and also living in Germany with no limit autobahn, the brakes will get hot very quickly from 300km/h to 200 for example! I want My calipers on red or orange/yellow! If you have any extra tips that will be great! Tnx
On the calipers it looks like the bottom brake line wasn't taped off when painted. Might not be a big deal but it doesn't look like that from the factory.
Good eye! …the calipers were a mess before I painted them, those brake lines was scratched and looked pretty bad. I decided to refinish them all together. We can either go back now and spray some black or just leave as is. 😁👊🏻
I think it would take much longer to disassemble and degrease the brakes completely, and then assemble and bleed the entire brake system would be a nightmare, especially on a Mclaren 😬

Given the time to tape of the entire car, wouldn't it be quicker to pull the calipers and paint them in the booth and then reassemble them on the car?
