Just picked up a used G5 in rough shape after I moved out of my parents. Even though it’s a bit older than their Sentria, I love the fact that I can still get OEM parts for it, something you can’t get with other consumer products like our cellphones, which now almost run for about the same price as a new Kirby!
I've had a kirbt belt on my d50 for 2 years with constant tension because I forgot to take it off for storage. It is dry rotted and cracked, yet it still holds tension, and has picked up lots of dirt over the past few months!
that means The Kirby cleaner machine Genuine Parts are really great. it will vacuum and shampoo very well. yes I am Kirby Starship Care System cleaner machine fanatic.
I know that they can last 30 years or longer. I have one nearly 60 years old (519). I wanted to see what they said before it needed to be serviced. In general, the average well-made vacuum lasts about 700-800 hours before it requires servicing. I read somewhere that the Kirby motor lasted 1,000 hours before it needed servicing. I just wanted them to confirm whether that was true or not.
Hello Kirby! I was wondering why exactly TechDrive is not recommended for hard floors. I understand it will damage the floor, I am just wondering how? 😂 Thanks
Too bad the Kirby president believes in quantity over quality. You know the housing is plastic now? And dealers are forced to claim they're all metal? The axle on the tech drive is now equipped with nylon bushings instead of ball bearings. The springs are also too long, causing grinding and ratcheting. Kirby, I love your product but I hate your company. Never have I dealt with a company (yes, I mean corporate, not independents) that genuinely does not care about their customers. You have done nothing but give me the run around on every regard. Get your stuff together.
The only vacuum I would ever own 👌👌
My 14 year old Ultimate G Diamond Edition is proof of the quality. Never will I replace it with a different brand.

who dosent want parts to extend the life of your vacuum ! Kirby is the best for reliability :)
These machines last a long time!! I don’t think they ever wear out...

I did not know they even made aftermarket Kirby parts. Never seen one.
Yep.
Oh, yes. Interestingly, they're price competitive with the good quality aftermarket parts, too.
Kirby is the best!! Made in the good old USA and very reliable!!
Were can I find an original blue Kirby tradition power cord. The replacement ones are black?
I have a question for the Kirby company: How many hours does the motor last before it requires service?

@@mattjones7621 I usually go until it sounds funny
@@therandomman6647 Same here. When I hear a bearing go out, I either repack it or replace it asap.
I have had an aftermarket brushroll on my Classic-3 it was absolutely rubbish, it ended up jamming due to it not having actual ball bearings
My Classic III has ball bearings on its brush roll.
They are a big improvement.
Where can i buy a replacement light bulb for my 1967 KIRBY D50 vacuum cleaner at?
Try eBay

I have a question for the kirby company. When it is time to service my 3 kirby vacuums? I own 2 kirby tradition and 1 kirby legend 2.
Courage Bagge
It’s recommended that you have it serviced annually!
I am a proud owner of a legend 2 kirby
I red somewhere on the Internet a fake kirby belt will melt the kirby fan
