They start at dawn on a glassy sea by trying to hook some tricky piper (garfish), and then they work their way up to Red Snapper and Yellowtail Kingfish. Love this video Matt, one of your best uploads. It's amazing to see how far Shaw has come with his fishing, you've definitely gotten a bit harder with him with the more recent videos but it's crafting him into a fine young man with good values. You should be very proud and I can only hope my son grows up to be as confident as Shaw is.

Yeah I remember that moment that I caught me first pinkie but still on the hunt for the elusive kingy! I’m still only a young in so I still have a lot have casts left to do. Great video, it's always great to see kids out fishing with one or both parents, and being taught to do the right thing👍like you said Matt I too was taught to catch the limit, now I just catch what I need and let the rest go, but I would like to know what your fisheries is doing right as your fishery is far more healthier than ours, although I think ours is on the good side of recovering 😉

Garfish and salmon ya mug. They swim across the ditch and hey presto, different name same species. Go Matt. I would love to take the grandkids out chasing, um salmon etc , but we can only catch coral trout, silvers, reds etc. yeah yeah tough I know. The truth is for the grand kids whatever comes over the side is great and throwing them back is even better. Keep up the good work.
