Father & Son: Winter Mission - Kingfish and Snapper Jigging

- Matt & Shaw head out for a father & son winter mission, the target species are Yellowtail kingfish and snapper. Shaw has said that he will be jigging all day, but he will have to keep his kingfish away from the mako sharks first.

You’re fishing rhe wrong state for kingys in Australia, if you want mega king like nz spec kings head to South Australia, the average size here is 25kg that’s no fish to sneeze at

Just to know would you be able to target king fish on a thunnis 8000 on a jet ski
Have you heard of a tics talisman are they any good
You will catch kings on a thunnis 8000 but you will get smashed allot and lose allot of fish it's not really meant for big kings, stay away from tica reels they are junk, get a Shimano spheros if you want a cheap good kingfish reel

sharks wont touch a healthy kingi, waste of valuable energy for them, even a tired one - its the injured ones and onces thrashing on the end of a line that they'll bother
